This Ponte de Legno home is perfect for year-round outdoorsy escapes. The stone chalet, with its wooden beams and custom-made furniture, is a cosy home-from-home ideal for families seeking comfort and convenience. It’s just a few minutes from the ski slopes, and also close to the Ponte di Legno - Tonale cycle path, with its beautiful trails. The chalet has been lovingly renovated to blend its original features with modern comforts – you’ll have everything you need for a short break. At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on a sofa bed in the living space.

Coffee & Stone

Set just outside Ponte di Legno, this apartment makes a practical base for exploring the area, whether you’re here for skiing or summer hikes. It’s on the smaller side, but has everything you need for a comfortable stay, especially if you’re planning to be out most of the day. The terrace is the highlight, with open views across the mountains. You’re a short drive from the lifts, restaurants and bars in town, and there are walking and biking routes nearby in warmer months. Back at the apartment, ski and bike storage and a covered parking space make things easier.

Mountain Heights

Tucked into the quiet Cianderies area of Cortina d'Ampezzo, this ground-floor apartment puts the Dolomites right outside your door – dramatic peaks framing every view. Inside, a carved wooden bed and deep sofas set a properly alpine tone, while the timber terrace is the place to sit with a coffee and take in the meadows stretching out around you. Pets are welcome, parking is easy, and the whole setup suits families or groups looking for a calm, unhurried base from which to explore one of the Alps' most celebrated resorts.

Meadows of Cianderies

Whatever time of year you visit Trento, this apartment has plenty to offer. The location is a real highlight. Just a twenty-minute drive from Madonna di Campiglio, it's well placed for exploring the mountains. If skiing is on the itinerary, a free shuttle stops nearby with direct links to the slopes, while a communal storage room keeps your gear neatly tucked away. Inside, Swiss pine brings warmth to the interiors, blending rustic chalet charm with a more contemporary feel. There's also a small private garden – the perfect spot for enjoying sunny afternoons or starry evenings.

Trento Pine

Set on the outskirts of a quiet village, just a short drive from the town of Vezza d'Oglio, this apartment is well placed for hiking and skiing adventures in the Adamello-Presanella range. Simple yet comfortable, the home has everything you need for both short breaks and longer stays. Our favourite feature is the private terrace, particularly for enjoying a well-earned tipple after a day on the slopes. If you’re staying with little ones, you’ll be pleased to know there’s a communal playground nearby.

Edelweiss Bloom

Perched above the snowline in the Puster Valley, this villa offers ski-in/ski-out access onto Kronplatz's slopes, so the mountain is yours from the moment you step outside. The pool terrace and outdoor hot tub both face the Alpine valley, making it hard to know whether to swim or simply stand and stare. Inside, a fireplace draws everyone together after a day on the slopes, while the private wellness area – Finnish sauna, infrared cabin, and rain shower – means recovery is taken seriously. Come summer, the same trails that frame those views become hiking and cycling routes right from the door.

Firelit Chalet

Few villas in the Dolomites match this level of indulgence – a Japanese-inspired spa with a heated indoor pool ringed by orchids sits alongside a soundproof private cinema with velvet loungers, all within a single villa in Cortina d'Ampezzo. Spread across four levels, it's a home built for doing very little, very well: a dedicated entertainment floor with a wet bar and games room, a private gym, and a wine cellar to raid on quiet evenings. The main suite adds a log fire and Jacuzzi bath for good measure, with panoramic mountain views framing the whole picture.

Dolomite Prestige

Set in a traditional chalet-style building with a wooden roof and pretty wooden balcony in the Italian Alps, this charming home is ideal for an adventure-packed mountain escape. Decorated in neutral, earthy tones with minimalist but comfortable furniture, the inside of this home has a soothing feel. In the open-plan living-and-kitchen space, vanilla-coloured walls, a charcoal sofa and wooden table come together to make a welcoming space, and under-floor heating keeps things extra cosy. There are two neat, clutter-free bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen and a modern bathroom with gigantic walk-in shower. The chalet has a number of excellent shared amenities, including a games room – with a table tennis table and a table football table – a fitness room, a sauna, steam room and relaxation room, plus plenty of storage for bikes in the summer and skis in the winter. But the real draw here is the views. Out in the garden, you’ll be rewarded with sweeping, jaw-dropping views of the Alps.
