This stunning home makes for a dreamy retreat. It’s in a gated community in stunning Tulum, tucked away amid the tropical trees and greenery – it’s an oasis. This is the kind of holiday home you find yourself daydreaming about long after the suitcases have been unpacked and the tans have faded. 

The villa boasts an open-plan concept that blends indoor and outdoor living. Open up the floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors to merge the living and dining space with the terrace, private swimming pool, and pretty green canopy of leaves. Fire up the barbecue for dinner served alongside the pool, beneath the twinkling stars. 

The rooftop terrace is another of our favourite features, thanks to its stunning views and sense of peace. It’s an ideal space for a tranquil early-morning yoga session, and is a lovely spot for sunbathing. In the evening, sip cocktails and watch the sun set over the tropical scenery. 

The villa is in a splendid location, secluded enough to offer absolute peace and quiet, but close enough to all the sights. It only takes five minutes to drive to the town of Tulum and nine minutes to reach Tulum Beach. Swim in the crystal clear sea in the morning before meandering around the town in the afternoon. History-buffs will enjoy exploring the Mayan ruins, which are a short drive away. There’s something for everyone here.

Let’s start with the communal facilities at this luxury resort because they are fantastic. There’s an oasis-style infinity pool surrounded by lush greenery. You’ll also find a rooftop relaxation zone with a firepit, a spa, a gym with wellness and dance classes and a rock wall climbing course. There are also hammocks and a floating net area if you prefer to relax and there’s an onsite restaurant and bar. You can also chill out on this apartment’s private balcony. This home has a small kitchenette – there’s no oven, but there is a hob and microwave. But as well as the onsite eateries, Tulum with its beaches, bars and restaurants is just under 4 kilometres away.

It also offers a private plunge pool and terrace along with access to shared facilities – including a communal swimming pool and gym. This isn’t the best spot if you’re in search of total seclusion, but it’s well suited to families and groups looking for a fuss-free tropical getaway. From here, it’s just a ten-minute drive or cycle ride to the beach, while the restaurants and shops of central Tulum are also within easy reach.

Tulum's prettiest beaches are only a five-minute drive away, making this apartment an excellent choice for a coastal escape. Part of a chic residential complex, you'll also have access to a shared swimming pool, communal gym, and collective garden – not to mention 24/7 support from your attentive hosts. The private balcony is a nice touch – although it's slightly overlooked by neighbours – and the bedrooms are equal parts comfortable and stylish.
