With six luxurious bedrooms, four calm-inspiring bathrooms, an opulent 70s-style living area complete with a retro-feeling full bar and finished in complementary tones of teal and copper, as well as another reception area where you'll find brightly coloured furnishings and cool pop-art style pieces adorning the walls, this home reminds us of a Bond villain's secret bolt-hole. 

Equipped with an array of gadgetry that would give Goldfinger a run for his money, the quirky kitchen boasts countertop grilling stations on a central circular island that looks as though it was lifted straight out of a space station. There is also a funky corner booth that's perfect for sitting down with a cup of coffee and the morning paper. 

Step outside and you'll find a huge garden centred around a stunning swimming pool, given an extra layer of grandeur courtesy of the pillars that surround it on three sides and around which the house wraps itself. With plenty of shaded seating areas as well as sun loungers and an authentic wood-fired churrasco, the garden provides the perfect place to relax and unwind – until it's time to entertain, party, and socialise. It's giving us major 1970s Palm Springs vibes, and we can just imagine the scene being immortalised in a Slim Adams print. 

In a family-friendly neighbourhood by the sea, the home is located 900 metres from the sandy beach of Praia do Cavalo Preto sand beach and a kilometre from the fantastically golden sands of Forte Novo. In the local area, you will have your pick of restaurants serving everything from traditional chicken piri-piri and other regional specialties made with fresh local produce, to Asian fusion, and seafood pulled from the waters around the town.

Seventies Vibes & Bougainvillea

Perfect for families seeking an Algarve getaway, this villa promises a tranquil retreat. Fuss-free in style, you’ll find everything needed for a comfortable stay and with all bedrooms boasting an en-suite, guests can enjoy their own space, too. Sun-kissed terraces are ideal for whiling away lazy hours while the private pool will be a hit with the whole family. Locally, the Old Course golf club is a five-minute stroll from the villa, with the marina and beaches around ten minutes away.

Whilst it's perfectly located, the deluxe villa is much more than a base for exploration. A large pool is surrounded by numerous seating spaces, creating an idyllic haven to bathe in the sunshine. For a more energetic afternoon, table football lays the foundation for frenetic games. 

At night, rustle up some local meats on the BBQ or settle down for alfresco dining on the outdoor table. Or if you're looking for a cosy night in, snuggle up on the sofa watching a film on the TV.

Spend slow mornings drifting between the swimming pool and a sun lounger, admire the views from the terrace and find a wonderful state of relaxation in the calm bedrooms. By night, the garden transforms into the perfect setting for sunset drinks, sizzling barbecue meals and star gazing. 

From here, days can be as action-packed or as slow-paced as your heart desires. Take a road trip along the coast, explore the Algarve’s beautiful beaches or simply enjoy the tranquility of your own private sanctuary. 

All Yours

In sunny Quinta do Lago, this villa offers a relaxing stay just a short drive from the beach. When you're not exploring the Algarve, the swimming pool is the perfect spot to while away the afternoon. Stretch out on a lounge chair for a quick siesta, or retreat to the different balconies for a tipple in the sun. Kids will enjoy the games room while the group's barbecue master rustles up dinner in the outdoor kitchen. There's also plenty of space indoors to unwind. Quarteira, Faro, and Albufeira are within driving distance – all great options for day trips.

Tucked away in Vilamoura, this cosy apartment is an ideal base for exploring all that the Algarve has to offer. As you’d expect with a studio, space is limited here, but you’ll find everything needed for a comfortable stay. While it can sleep three guests, with one on the sofa bed, it’s worth noting that it’s an open space – for this reason, we think it’s better suited to a couple or small family who don’t mind sharing. That said, with Vilamoura beach and golf courses galore nearby, along with the communal pool to cool off in the heat, you’re bound to be out and about most days.

Laying back on a sun lounger with a drink in hand, taking in the view from the rooftop of this luxurious villa in the Algarve, you’ll feel as if you’ve hit the jackpot. This contemporary hideaway offers everything you could want from a sunny vacation, and so much more. Head down the external staircase to the first-floor terrace to curl up with a book in the sun, or continue on down to the shimmering pool for a refreshing dip. As the day starts to cool, it will be time to fire up the barbecue for an alfresco meal under the awning – don't forget to play your favourite music on the Sonos system to soundtrack your meal. There's a real sense of calm throughout the villa, with muted tones, soft furniture, and Santa Catarina floor tiles. Cook up a storm in the contemporary island kitchen and enjoy meals around the long dining table for up to ten guests. Designed with ease in mind, there are five calming bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom and walk-in showers, so each morning gets off to a peaceful start.

We love the way this home is perfectly private - super spacious and all within its own pristinely manicured grounds - but equally, it’s really well connected with everything going on beyond its gates. Quinta do Lago’s best–loved golf courses are perched just minutes away, with Vale do Lobo’s bars, spas and restaurants a justly short distance from the villa. So, if you do manage to peel yourself away from your exclusive paradise, you’ll never be short of things to see and do.

The inside of this home is entirely unique – a real fusion of old and new with a curation of decorative artsy pieces and warming touches dotted from here to there. No two rooms have the same look or feel, making for an extraordinary place to enjoy the Algarve in all its glory. We’re particularly fond of the cosy living space that leads out onto the terrace – it’s just so inviting! But on the whole, the sparkliest jewel in the crown here has to be the pool.

As well as a fully–furnished terrace, balcony and open–air dining setup, as we venture outside, there’s also an aqua–blue pool just waiting for you to dip your toes in. Encircled with towering palm trees, sun loungers and parasols, its crystalline waters are blanketed by sunlight, but surrounded by shadier spots for those seeking some respite from the rays.

Begin each morning with a silky, milky coffee and a scrumptious buffet breakfast on the terrace before plunging into the pool for a rejuvenating dip. After that, the Algarve is your oyster!
