It's a great spot for exploring on foot, though there's plenty to love here besides the location. For starters, the coastal views are hard to beat. Another favourite is the hot tub – ideal for a sunset soak – while the terrace has alfresco dining covered. The design inside is modern and bright, with a collection of comfortable bedrooms to choose from. As the fifth bedroom boasts a trundle bed, we think this pad is best for eight adults and two children.

And while the third bedroom is a little on the cosy side with limited storage space, the workstations and kitchen make long stays here just as comfortable as a weekend break.
