Skirting the edge of the Sintra Cascais Natural Park, this house is wedged between the mountainous landscapes of the park and Guincho Beach. Perfect for sun and nature worshippers, the villa is ideal for large groups of friends or a family reunion. With plenty of room, bedrooms with their own private bathrooms, and even a gym, it carves out elegant spaces for everyone to holiday as they please. The views from the private swimming pool are beautiful. Plus, there's ample seating for sunset drinks. Daily cleaning and breakfasts are also included here so you can focus on what matters – taking it easy. 

Gavião Garden

Situated within walking distance of São Julião Beach and a short drive from the surfing town of Ericeira, this villa is ideally placed for a family holiday. The home benefits from two outside spaces – the upper terrace is for dining or basking in the sunshine, while the lower deck is complete with a swimming pool. Inside, the living area is geared up for entertaining, and the kitchen has everything you need to cook Portuguese dishes. Plus, there’s an annexe bedroom here, perfect for teenagers or those who like their privacy.

Brisa do Mar

Sit back, relax, and soak up the sun at this Portuguese villa. It has everything you need to feel at home – including a large open-plan living area, an outdoor ping-pong table, and a dazzling swimming pool where you can float the afternoon away. Consider yourself a sporty type? You'll have access to a nearby tennis court and golf course, too. Lisbon is a thirty-five-minute drive away and ideal for a day trip. That said, with the beautiful beaches of Costa da Caparica five minutes by car, we reckon most of your time will be spent on the sand.

Fairway & Teal

The location of this apartment in the heart of Alfama is fantastic. It’s just a short stroll from Lisbon Cathedral, Cais das Colunas and the Arco da Rua Augusta, and you’ll be surrounded by a range of shops and restaurants. Another highlight is the amazing views of the River Tagus from this home’s balcony and living space – this room also has a sofa bed for guests five and six. We love the blend of Nordic and Portuguese-inspired furnishings, and the kitchens and bathrooms are elegantly finished with Portuguese Estremoz marble. This place, housed in a building featuring a classic facade adorned with traditional Portuguese ceramics, is perfect for a weekend or longer stay in Lisbon.

River Tagus Vistas

Ideally located near the popular Praça da Figueira, in the heart of Lisbon, this apartment provides a great base for exploring some of the most sought-after spots in the city. Even on days when you're venturing further afield, the Rossio Metro station is a one-minute walk away, so sightseeing is easy. The apartment itself is minimal and modern, with a sleek kitchenette that's fully equipped for preparing home-cooked meals – perfect for those planning a longer stay. It's not the most soulful space, although we think it'll do very nicely for a central pad near the city's top attractions. 


Lisbon Elegance

This charming apartment is a great base for six people on a Lisbon getaway. While two guests will need to prepare for nights on the sofa bed at full occupancy, and you’ll need to climb stairs to reach the home, it’s a comfortable space to rest your head. In the city for business? The desk in the main bedroom makes remote work a breeze. And while we're talking of breezes, you’ll need to make use of the fans in summer months as there’s no air conditioning here – alternatively, throw open the beautiful French doors to let the fresh air in.

Bairro Alto Bliss

An ideal base for sightseeing, this apartment is located in the heart of Lisbon. You'll be within walking distance from Praça do Comércio, the Tagus River, and a wide array of shops and restaurants. The metro is also close by for journeys further afield. Bright and comfortable, the fuss-free design may not appeal to those seeking a unique home-from-home. That said, the sleek kitchen has plenty of space to cook a meal, the bedrooms are cosy, and there's paid parking right outside. Light sleepers may want to pack earplugs, though – noise is likely in this central spot.

Lisbon Is Calling

Positioned near a large public park, this apartment places you in a quieter area of Lisbon without the crowds of tourists. From here, it's a three-minute walk from the Quinta das Conchas Metro station which takes you directly to Saldanha and Pombal in moments. Back at home, you'll find all the usual mod cons needed for a restful stay, including a second bedroom that doubles as a handy home office for those working remotely. Best of all, there's a private balcony with seating for two, where you can enjoy evening sundowners after a busy day of exploring. 

A Savour of Summer

Positioned nearby the Costa de Lisboa and Aroeira Golf resort, this contemporary villa is perfect for both sports lovers and sun seekers. Comfortably accommodating eight people – there are plenty of open-plan living areas to relax. We love the covered terrace, with a built-in barbecue for those long evening meals. While the kids will stay entertained with the private swimming pool. Just 1km from the Aroeira Golf course – you can spend your days on the putting green. While the beach of Praia Fonte da Telha is just a short drive away.  

Porto Putting

This villa is a wonderful pick for guests planning a fabulous trip to Portugal. Located in the Marisol area south of Lisbon, it's a tranquil spot with easy access to the region's long, sandy beaches. 

Step inside, and you'll find a bright and airy space with lots of room for everyone to relax. The neutral colour palette and natural textures create an upmarket feel, and the sleek kitchen is perfect for budding chefs to show off their culinary skills. Serve up your culinary creations at the glass dining table, or fire up the barbeque for an alfresco feast while the kids enjoy the play area. You'll also find an outdoor swimming pool for refreshing dips, and plenty of loungers where you can soak up the sun with a good book and a cool drink. 

You're spoilt for choice with numerous local beaches to choose from, each with its own unique charms. If you can't decide, a nine-minute drive will bring you to Fonte da Telha, a golden gem beside the Atlantic. And, if you fancy a day trip, you can drive into the city of Lisbon in half an hour to soak up the capital's rich history and culture.  

The Garden Villa

Located in the Graça neighbourhood of Lisbon, this spot offers views across the Tagus River and Lisbon's National Pantheon. Just a four-minute walk from the nearest supermarket and Portuguese bakery, the balcony terrace makes an idyllic little spot to sit with your morning coffee and pastries overlooking the city's rooftops. However, it's worth noting that the kitchen is small, and its compact layout makes it difficult to cook more substantial meals. Conveniently, the bedrooms feature air conditioning, although we think the fourth bedroom (with a double sofa bed) is better suited to one guest rather than two. 




The Watercolour Effect

So, this home has the best of both worlds with its location. It's situated in the picturesque town of Cascais with its charming streets and beaches, yet it's just a short stroll to the train station which connects to Lisbon. There's plenty of room for entertaining in the apartment, and there's a desk in one of the bedrooms if you need to catch up on work emails. If you want to accommodate six guests, though, two will be sleeping on a sofa in the open-plan living room.
