If we were being fussy, the living space feels a little snug if six guests share, and the third bedroom is short on floor space. But that suntrap outdoor terrace leading off two of the bedrooms more than makes up for that. Set in the leafy residential district of Alvalade, you’re quietly removed from the tourist crowds. But when it’s time to dive into the action, Alvalade Metro is just three minutes away on foot.

The terrace will surely be a favourite – perfect for morning coffee and evening drinks – while the second balcony is another sweet spot to soak up the sunshine. If you love being in the city but hate the bustle, we've got a treat for you. Found in a quiet residential neighbourhood in Alvalade, this home struck us as a perfect spot to retreat to after a day exploring Lisbon's many treasures - the terrace is an inviting spot for a glass of red. And while the third bedroom is a little on the cosy side with limited storage space, the workstations and kitchen make long stays here just as comfortable as a weekend break.
