The interior has floor-to-ceiling glass doors on two sides of the room, one side opens onto the garden and outside pool terrace, while the other opens onto the inside pool. The bedroom features an enormous round bed and floor-to-ceiling glass doors on two sides of the room. Islamlar village offers breathtaking panoramic views from every aspect and provides visitors with a genuine taste of rural Turkish village life. Kalkan town is just 15 minutes down the road, offering excellent choices of elegant roof-terraced restaurants.

Bloom of Jasmine

There’s a lot to love about this traditional farmhouse. Its 300-year history is reflected in the stone walls, wooden beams, and fireplace, while the ornate furnishings add a splash of Turkish opulence. But really, it’s the view that steals the show here. Whether you’re reading in the rocking chair on the terrace or swimming in the huge infinity pool, you’re treated to expansive views across Kaya Valley and the abandoned village of Kayaköy. It’s undoubtedly something special.

For busier beach days, you’re a twenty-minute drive from the famous Blue Lagoon in Ölüdeniz.

Kalamar Bay Bliss

This villa on Turkey’s ‘sunshine coast’ is near the tourist hotspot of Fethiye, where you’ll find an atmospheric old town, a picturesque marina, and a choice of eateries. For days at the beach, you’re walking distance to Katranci and just a short drive from popular Karaot and Calis. While the home isn’t the most luxurious in our collection, we think you’ll love the views from the terrace and will enjoy splashing around in the private pool. Although the kitchenette is well equipped, it’s small for a family-sized villa so is better suited to preparing snacks and light bites than large meals – a great excuse to dine out in the evenings.

Tucked away in the hillside of Kalkan you’ll find this traditional stone villa, which boasts unobstructed views of the Turquoise Coast and Mediterranean Sea below. Swim to the edge of the earth in the infinity pool, where sky meets sea, or simply admire the views from one of the outdoor seating areas – hard to pick one, we know. 

The earthy tones of the terracotta facade and internal stonework are complemented by rich hues of blue and turquoise running throughout the home and extending to the pool. The carefully curated interiors create a feeling of ethereal comfort and calm where worries simply melt away into the horizon. If you’re an early riser, we recommend taking a dip in the indoor heated plunge pool with a cappuccino in hand, or doing some yoga on the terrace. If you prefer a more leisurely morning, let the Turkish sun gently wake you up, followed by balmy days poolside. For a change of pace, hop in the car and drive down to the beach town of Kalkan, where sandy beaches, lively restaurants and local pubs lay ripe for exploring.

Set to the incredible backdrop of the rolling Turkish hills, this home might be a sight to behold, but the true magic lies in the other direction. Marvel at the sea view as you step out onto the terrace first thing in the morning, coffee in hand, and appreciate the quiet tranquillity on offer here. Later, when the rest of the group joins you outside, you can dine al fresco, spending hours around that table simply being present in the moment. 

Make yourself comfortable on the sunlounger and take advantage of the sunshine to work on your summer glow. When you slip into the water later on, we recommend swimming out to the edge of the infinity pool so you can once again remind yourself of the stunning panoramas.
