Find yourself at home in this Spanish-style home in Inglewood. Drive to Santa Monica Pier and Beach, or spend the day exploring Chinatown. Whilst at home, take advantage of the alfresco dining table in the back garden and front porch seating to bask in the Californian sun. Though we think the exposed beams and fireplace add charm to the space, not everyone will like the style here. Still, it's well-kept and comfortable. It is worth noting the sleeping arrangements include three trundle beds that might be best suited to children.

Some parts of the original setup have survived, like the study with a lovely view of the surroundings – with a typewriter to inspire your creative side – and the occasional retro-futuristic hints. This is a bright home with an atypical layout which means each room has its own character, but the whole look is neatly tied together. Bearcat is a great home for those on their first trip to Los Angeles and we recommend starting your day on the balcony, watching the city wake up over a nice cup of coffee. Avoid the rush hour and drive to Downtown LA a little later, soaking in the sights and exploring the culinary scene. In the evening, return to your not-so-humble abode and relax in the lounge while watching a classic Hollywood movie.

The outside space is shaded by a ficus tree, and is the perfect spot in which to enjoy some peace and quiet away from the buzz of the city. Sit in one of the rocking chairs and enjoy a glass of wine and a game of chess as you watch the hummingbirds flit between the shrubs. 

When it comes to exploring LA, this home is in an excellent location. It's just one mile south of Hollywood, in the Larchmont neighbourhood, which is full of historic homes and independent businesses.
