It's a fabulous location, with Echo Park just a five-minute drive away. Inside, this charming little home has been recently renovated to create an up-to-date look with a modern, high-end kitchen and a stylish bathroom with a clawfoot bath. The bedrooms are peaceful and elegant in their simplicity and the living area, open to the kitchen, is roomy enough for up to four. But it's the garden we're really here for. It's quite hard to find a home in Los Angeles where you don't have to rely on a car to get around. Luckily, Best Of Bastet is within walking distance to Gold Line Metro, which will quickly get you to the beach. The surrounding area is also walkable – the tourists haven’t discovered Highland Park yet, and there are all sorts of cafes, restaurants, and independent shops (including several record stores) for you to explore. While the outsides of this home look unassuming, the interior has been designed with an eye for minimalism. The home isn't bare, but rather balanced with sleek wishbone chairs and other Scandi-inspired furniture, which leaves plenty of space for plants. There's a neatly paved terrace right outside where you can chill out and get the fire pit going, as well as a bright living room where you can relax during the day.
