While space isn’t one of this home’s strong points – even a solo traveller might find the bathroom a bit of a squeeze – it has everything you need for a comfortable stay and benefits from an enviable position on the edge of downtown Aspen. And more importantly, having received a full makeover in 2022, it’s the kind of place you’ll be happy to come home to after an action-packed day on the slopes.

A truly magical place, this chalet home in Steamboat Springs has some serious views. In a lofty position overlooking the town, the nearby golf course and Emerald Mountain – all the way to the Sleeping Giant in the distance – this superb home is spacious, comfortable and stylish. Arranged over three levels, there's a choice of four balconies to sit out and admire those incredible views. The double-height living room and the games room feature huge window walls, perfectly framing the scenery outside, while one of the best views comes from the kitchen, where you can gaze over the mountains as you whip up a meal and eat it out on the dining terrace (the sunsets and the views of the local Winter Carnival's fireworks display each year are amazing). If you're here to ski, you're just a three-minute drive to the mountain or a five-minute walk to the gondola, and you can store your kit in the home's garage. At the end of a day on the slopes or hiking in the hills, there's nothing better than a soak in the hot tub as the sun sets and the stars come out.

Within nineteen-minutes you can be at Telluride Ski Resort skiing on some of the best slopes in Colorado, as supported by Condé Nast and Forbes. After days out marvelling at the sights, you can look forward to returning to a home just as special. Cook up a meat feast on the barbeque (you're in Colorado after all) before heading out onto the front porch for amazing stargazing opportunities. Don't worry about getting cold, the porch is heated! There’s no denying you’re in the mountains as cathedral-height windows put the view of snow-topped La Plata mountain pride of place in the living room. Though soaking in the bubbling hot tub on the terrace is a lavish, alternative way to keep warm. The free shuttle bus stops directly outside and will take you to shops, the village and ski access points. In the summer months, guests can explore the mountains and rivers by hiking, biking or even horseback riding. Less intrepid travellers can play tennis, golf or swim in the local Recreation Center. After a day of activities, you'll want to treat yourself to an energising meal at one of the local restaurants or maybe even a drink at a nearby bar.

Located in between the major resorts of Breckenridge and Frisco, this charming townhouse is ideal for skiing trips with family or friends. Take advantage of the free shuttle to Breckenridge that offers door-to-door service, and spend your evenings looking out onto snow-dusted pines from the private hot tub or settling in by the fire to watch your favourite shows on the wide-screen TV. If you’re staying during the summer months, we recommend heading over to the 27-hole Breckenridge Golf Club or checking out the plentiful local bike paths and hiking trails.

Located just a ten minute walk to Aspen’s downtown core and world-class skiing, Aspen Glow is the perfect base for a family ski vacation. The minute you walk up the driveway of this charming three-bedroom abode, you’ll immediately feel right at home. The iconic façade, cosy furnishings, beautiful views of Aspen mountain and the airy, sun-filled living room create a cosy nestling spot where families can unwind and hunker down by the fire after a busy day on the slopes. The outdoor hot tub and mudroom are undoubtedly our favourite places in the home. But the kitchen with its gorgeous French sink doesn’t hurt either - and is excellently kitted out for rustling up hearty meals.

Located in Denver’s oh so trendy Lower Downtown neighbourhood, also known as LoDo, this bright and colourful apartment is full of stylish decor, funky art prints and huge windows showing off the city’s skyline. Enjoy your morning coffee at the breakfast bar or out on the balcony while taking in the view. Then, catch up on some work in a quiet study room or head downstairs to the gym for a workout before beginning your day of sightseeing. Commons Park, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Coors Field and the Downtown Aquarium are all within walking distance, as is Union Station with its plethora of boutiques, restaurants, bars and weekly farmer’s market.
