Sitting right on the water in Harwich Port, this cottage is built around the kind of waterfront access that makes a Cape Cod trip feel complete. Kayaks and paddleboards are ready to go from the private dock, the deck is set up for barbecue evenings with calm water stretching out in front of you, and a screened three-season room gives you somewhere to sit when the breeze picks up. When you want a change of scene, downtown Harwich Port's shops and restaurants are a short stroll away.

Port Paddler

Tucked into North Chatham on Cape Cod, this retreat is built for groups who want to do it all – or nothing at all. The heated private pool and fire pit patio are the natural gravitational centre on warm evenings, while the dedicated game room and cinema keep everyone occupied when the mood turns inward. Beach chairs, towels, and an outdoor shower mean days at the coast require minimal effort, and nearby bike trails give the more active crowd something to aim at. A private chef is available for those who'd rather leave the cooking to someone else entirely.

Matinée Club

Set in the heart of Dennis, this house sits on more than one and a half acres of lawn – enough room for a bocce court, cornhole, and alfresco dining on not one but two umbrella-shaded patios. A fire pit patio rounds out the outdoor options, while the screened porch bridges inside and out with a proper lounge feel. After a day on the Dennis beaches, the hot tub and oversized outdoor shower earn their keep – and beach chairs, towels, and a lobster pot are already waiting for you.

A Lobster Tale

A mile from Red River Beach, this Harwich house is kitted out for the kind of Cape Cod stay where you lose track of the days. The four-season sunroom is an easy place to land with a book or a laptop, whatever the weather outside. Come evening, the private yard with its fire pit pulls you back outdoors. Bikes, beach chairs, and boogie boards are all on hand, so heading to Red River Beach requires almost no planning – just an easy ride down the road.

Morning in Harwich

A heated pool and hot tub take centre stage in the garden, making this Chatham house an easy place to settle into a Cape Cod rhythm – cool off after the beach, then soak as the afternoon fades. The screened porch is perfect for alfresco barbecues, and when the weather turns, a game room stocked with foosball, air hockey, and board games keeps everyone busy. Oyster Pond Beach is an eight-minute walk away, while Main Street's shops, restaurants, and galleries are just a five-minute stroll.

Cape Cod Calling

Tucked among mature trees in West Chatham, this house is built for a proper Cape Cod summer. The backyard is the heart of it – a heated saltwater pool and spa, an outdoor shower, and plenty of room to lounge or eat alfresco. When the sun goes down, the lower level comes into its own with a fitness area, ping-pong table, and a large media and games space. Hardings Beach and Ridgevale Beach on Nantucket Sound are a short drive away, as is Chatham Lighthouse, thirteen-minutes down the road.

Chatham Daydream

A heated saltwater pool with a built-in hot tub anchors the outdoor space here, surrounded by a travertine patio where days drift from a swim to an alfresco lunch with garden views. When the temperature drops, an outdoor fireplace keeps evenings going well past sunset. Inside, coffered ceilings and custom local artwork give the interior real character, while a finished lower level means a group of up to twelve has room to breathe. Ridgevale Beach is less than a mile away, and beach chairs and towels are provided – so the only thing to pack is your new book.

Coastal Renaissance

A multi-building retreat on the edge of Chatham – main house, cottage, and studio – this is the kind of place that works for big groups without feeling like anyone's compromised. The central patio pulls everyone together around the outdoor dining area, gas grill, and fire pit, while the level lawn leaves room to spread out. A covered porch offers a quiet glimpse of the water for slower mornings. Oyster Pond Beach is a two-minute walk away, the heart of Chatham five minutes on foot, and kayaking access via Oyster Pond is practically on the doorstep.

Oyster & Company

Ryder's Cove sits just across the street, and from the deck you can watch boats drift across the water between morning coffee and an evening at the outdoor fireplace. Kayaks come with the home, so getting out on the cove takes no planning at all – and beach chairs and boogie boards mean the shore is equally easy. Several beaches are less than a mile away, with Chatham's village centre a little over a mile further. Inside, four private bedroom suites spread across multiple levels make this a comfortable base for a group of up to ten.

Original exposed beams and working fireplaces give this Harwich Port house a sense of Cape Cod history, while considered modern updates mean it works just as well for a large group as it does a slower, quieter stay. The covered porch and deck spill out onto a wide lawn – a natural gathering spot for evenings around the fire pit or alfresco meals. Beach chairs and corn hole boards are ready to go, and the Cape Cod Rail Trail is just over a mile away for those who want to explore further afield. Harwich Port's shops and restaurants are a little over half a mile on foot.

Firefly Evening

Right in the heart of Harwich Port Village, this coastal cottage puts Cape Cod's restaurants, shops, and summer energy on your doorstep. The main-level king suite offers a calm retreat from it all, while the art-filled living room is made for slow evenings in. Outside, the private garden pulls its weight – a barbecue and outdoor seating for alfresco dinners, a fireplace for cooler nights, and an enclosed outdoor shower for rinsing off after beach days. Beach chairs and towels are provided, so heading to the sand takes no planning at all.

Portside Palette

Tucked into East Harwich, this house is built for big-group Cape Cod summers without the chaos. Five en-suite bedrooms spread across a well-considered layout, with a separate staircase leading younger guests to their own twin-bed hideaway – a detail families will appreciate. Outside, a heated saltwater pool and fire pit make evenings easy, while sunloungers and beach gear are ready for coast days. A games room, upstairs lounge with bar, and a gourmet kitchen mean there's no shortage of ways to fill the hours. Red River Beach and downtown Chatham's dining are a ten-minute drive away.
