A timber-framed cabin in the Smoky Mountains, this is the kind of place where forested ridges fill every window and the pace slows to match. The heated indoor pool is the star of the show – swim whatever the weather while the mountains look on. Back upstairs, the balcony hot tub earns its keep after a day on the trails, and the dedicated movie room keeps the group happily settled after dark. Downtown Pigeon Forge, with its restaurants and entertainment, is a ten-minute drive whenever you need it.

Firefly Mountain

Perched high in the Smoky Mountains, this house is built around the view – floor-to-ceiling windows and vaulted ceilings in the living room frame rolling forested ridgelines on every side. Two decks spread across two levels give you plenty of room to move between alfresco dining, the plunge pool, the hot tub, and a fire pit for late evenings under clear mountain skies. Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a thirty-seven-minute drive, Gatlinburg's craft shops and eateries about thirty-six minutes away, and Pigeon Forge somewhere in between – so there's no shortage of reasons to venture out, even if the views make it tempting to stay put.

Ridgeline & Glass

Tucked into a Smoky Mountain ridge surrounded by forest, this house is built around the kind of entertainment lineup that makes leaving feel like an afterthought. A private indoor pool means swim sessions whenever the mood strikes, rain or shine, while the game room – pool table, shuffleboard, the works – and dedicated home cinema give everyone something to look forward to come evening. Step outside and the hot tub on the deck is waiting for a soak under the mountain sky. Pigeon Forge is about fifteen minutes away when you're ready for a day out, while Gatlinburg – the gateway to the Smokies – is half an hour by car.

Forest & Forge

Perched high in the Smoky Mountains, this house makes an immediate impression – floor-to-ceiling windows frame 180-degree panoramas from the living area, with the mist lifting off the ridgelines each morning. The deck is where most guests end up spending their time, with a hot tub, fire pit, and barbecue all set against a backdrop of wooded peaks. Inside, a dedicated media room with Sonos surround sound and a billiards table give groups plenty to do when the mountains can wait. Great Smoky Mountains National Park is just minutes away.

The Smoky Blue

Exposed brick, hardwood floors, and a velvet sofa set a warm industrial tone in this Asheville house – the kind of place that feels like a find. The main suite takes things further with a freestanding clawfoot bathtub right in the room, while a second clawfoot tub serves the remaining bedrooms. Come evening, the rooftop terrace earns its keep as the sky shifts over the hills, and the barbecue on the private terrace makes alfresco dinners easy. Downtown Asheville, the River Arts District, and the Biltmore Estate are all within a seven-minute drive.

Large windows frame panoramic mountain views from the main living area, while two balconies are ideal spots to fire up the barbecue and watch the sun drop behind the ridgeline. Great Smoky Mountains National Park is an eighteen-minute drive, with Gatlinburg's craft shops and distilleries around forty-minutes by car.

The Blue Smoke

Tucked into the foothills of the Smokies, this cabin delivers ridgeline views from almost every room. Inside, floor-to-ceiling windows and a stone fireplace take centre stage in the living room, while the wraparound deck puts a private hot tub and a fire pit against that same backdrop. When the weather turns, or the group wants a different kind of fun, the lower-level games room – complete with a pool table, air hockey, arcade, drum kit, and guitars – more than fills the evening. Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are both within easy reach whenever adventure calls.

Ridgeline Story

Set on the wooded east side of Gatlinburg, this mountain house sits well back from the crowds, with towering evergreens and a quiet that settles over the group fast. Inside, a fireplace takes centre stage in the main living area, while the game room – ping pong, air hockey, foosball – tends to take over by come nightfall. A private cinema handles whatever the weather throws at you. Outside, the hot tub, cedar sauna, and fire pit make the most of long days on the trails. The Greenbrier entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park is around fifteen minutes away. Or, when you want to trade the trails for downtown, Gatlinburg is a twenty-minute drive away.

Inside, you’ll find airy living spaces, a chef’s kitchen with a breakfast bar, and a dining table made for long meals into the night. Work from the home office, enjoy the PlayStation setup in the games room, or unwind in the cosy sunroom. Outdoors, the hot tub, fire pit and grill set the stage for unforgettable evenings under the stars. You’ll need a car to explore everything Atlanta has to offer, but it’s worth it for a stay that feels stylish, spacious and effortlessly fun.

The fun doesn’t stop when it’s time to head home, though – if anything, it’s just getting started. Show off your dunking skills on the communal basketball court, make a splash at the outdoor pool, or cosy up in the living room and while away the afternoon with a board game by the fire. Then when it’s time to eat, head out onto the deck and fire up the barbecue as the sun dips down between the mountains. Who knows – you might even catch a glimpse of a black bear or two…
