Get your trip to the Big Apple started from this stylish pet-friendly apartment. More than anything, we love its location – right in the coveted Upper East Side, close to the subway and within walking distance to the beautiful Central Park. Not to mention all the fabulous shops and eateries on your doorstep – that one dish you've been craving? It's on the menu. Whatever the reason for your trip, you'll have all the basics here to feel right at home from the second you drop your bags. The compact kitchen is well-equipped for rustling up light meals, and while we recommend packing light due to the space, there's room to relax or work remotely if need be.

Up & Up

If you’re looking for a fuss-free city pad in one of New York’s most desirable neighbourhoods, then you can stop scrolling now. This contemporary home is located in the heart of the Upper East Side, known for its world-famous museums – including the Met and the Guggenheim – and designer boutiques. While the apartment has everything you’ll need for a successful stay, at full occupancy four people will be sharing one bathroom so it might feel like a bit of a squeeze. We think this place will suit a couple of couples who favour location over square footage.

Uptown Chic

The Mesmerised Voyager is located in Astoria, Queens, and we’ll tell you why this home is perfect. Not only is Astoria super well-connected to the city, it’s also got great international restaurants (Greek food is a must) and practically no tourists at all. This authentic neighbourhood has a local charm and ease you won’t find in other parts of the city. Plus, the home itself has been beautifully curated with three gorgeous bedrooms and a living room that boasts both modern and playful touches. This is a sophisticated space and a gem in our collection.

The Mesmerised Voyager

Tucked away near Tobyhanna State Park and with valleys, mountains and forests all a short drive away, this home is perfectly situated for the adventurous. While it has a rather basic interior, we think with a full roster of guests, you may not notice. Some of the bedrooms are also quite bare, but as a place to lay your head in between excursions around the state of Pennsylvania, they serve their purpose. There's also plenty here to keep kids entertained, with air hockey, table football, pool, table tennis and the projector all vying for their attention. 

The Great Harvest

Tucked away in the Upper East Side, this cosy apartment lends itself well to a big city stay. Space is limited, but for a work trip or a weekend getaway it's got a great location, and you can even bring a furry friend for a fee. The compact kitchen lets you rustle up snacks or small meals, while the surrounding restaurants and cafes offer everything from classic bagels and cronuts to Michelin-starred cuisine. In one direction you'll find Central Park, with the scenic East River in the other. To top it all off, nearby subway stations make commuting or sightseeing a breeze.

Dreams on the Upper East Side

In the heart of the Upper East Side, this pocket-sized apartment makes a cosy base for professionals and couples. It's not the biggest – especially the second bedroom – but the bold designs make the most of the compact space. Well-behaved furry friends are welcome to join you here, so rest assured the whole family will settle right in. There's plenty to explore nearby, from vibrant shops and eateries to the famous Central Park. If you're not sure where to start though, fear not – your host offers a range of local tours and reservations for events as part of their concierge packages.

East Side Chic

This New York apartment made it into our collection for its desirable location in the Upper East Side. You’ll have the Guggenheim close by for culture and Madison Avenue for shopping, as well as an array of eateries serving everything from classic New York bagels to Michelin-starred cuisine. Though compact, the home has everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay, including a well-equipped kitchen, a full-size sofa, and a dining table. And while there may not be any outdoor space here, the world-famous Central Park is within walking distance if you want to swap the city streets for open space.

Eastside Elegance

This airy rooftop apartment places you in New York City's Greenwich Village, ideal for a city escape. Spread over the top two floors of a four-storey building, you'll need to climb stairs here. But we think the views from the rooftop terrace are lovely, and there's seating and a table for enjoying evening drinks or alfresco meals up there. Public transport and hotspots like Central Park and the Empire State Building are within easy reach, so whether you're travelling for work or simply sightseeing, you won't get more central than this.

Manhattan City Sky

Although a modern build, this home was designed with the craftsman style in mind. It has a twenty-first century edge that gives it just enough luxury to make it both homely and wonderfully opulent for that perfect vacation. Located less than an hour and a half from Manhattan, you’ll be staying in the charming village of Greenwood Lake at the northern end of the Lake and just a short way from Warwick. Warwick has plenty of restaurants and bars, but more importantly, it’s known for its wineries, orchards and harvest festivals. Depending on the season, you can visit nearby Waterfront Park for a day of fun in the sand, or drive just ten minutes to Mount Peter, where small ski slopes are sure to please the whole family. But, of course, it was A Timeless Tale itself that blew us away. Double height ceilings, a focal point fireplace and mid-century modern-inspired interiors make this the ultimate holiday home. With such meticulous design, we wouldn’t blame you if you spent the entirety of your trip at A Timeless Tale itself.

A Timeless Tale

A home in the heart of Tribeca, with a shared rooftop terrace, outdoor kitchen, kids' playroom and on-site gym. Needless to say, this apartment caught our attention for quite a few reasons. It's been curated to high standards and features everything you could need for a comfortable stay in the city that never sleeps. Spend a day in Hudson River Park or take a stroll to One World Trade Center – whatever your trip calls for, this is a great base to stay at while doing so.

Tribeca Viewpoint

Smack bang in the heart of the Financial District, this family-friendly apartment is perfect for those keen to mix business with pleasure. Broad Street subway station is mere footsteps away, connecting you to the iconic landmarks of Midtown Manhattan and beyond. Inside the home, there’s a fully equipped kitchen for rustling up your favourite dinners and desks for those who need to work remotely. Best of all, you’ll have access to a variety of communal facilities, including a gym, lap pool and a landscaped roof terrace. 


New York Moment

Tucked away in the Upper East Side, this home is an ideal base for a couple or solo traveller on a New York getaway. Sure, it’s not the biggest, but it has all the essentials for a comfortable stay, including a kitchenette perfect for rustling up light bites. Locally, hop on the Roosevelt Island Tram to explore across the East River, or take a stroll to Central Park to soak up some green space, less than twenty minutes away on foot.
