Located in the gloriously photogenic neighbourhood of Greenwich Village, Frida & Friends is a delight. Brimming with character and natural light, the open-plan living space is a real showstopper. We love the huge sash windows and stylish flourishes throughout. The wood in the kitchen is sourced from an Italian railway station, and this is a typical anecdote: it's a home that's been lovingly crafted by its stylish hosts and everything has a story. It's set across three levels so there's a fair amount of up and down but we won't hold this against an otherwise entirely loveable pad.

Frida & Friends

The sheer white curtains, lush plant life, and bright decor of this fabulous home put you immediately at ease in this bustling and lively city. Situated on a quiet Chelsea block, it's just minutes away from the bars and galleries this arty neighbourhood is known for. Plus, you're a twelve-minute walk from the Flatiron and can arrive in the Meatpacking District within fifteen minutes. The nearest train station, 23rd Street, is just a three-minute walk away if you need to go further afield. This is a tiny, 300-square foot studio, so won't be for those needing to spread out. But it's quaint and cosy as can be for a solo traveller or romantic getaway – and with a location like this, we think you'll be doing more going out than staying in. 


Swoon

Practical yet comfortable, this compact apartment in the Lower East Side welcomes business travellers and tourists alike. The desk is ideal for anyone working remotely, and while there is a fully-equipped kitchenette here, space is limited, so we’d recommend it for simple meals only. If you’d prefer to eat out, however, you couldn’t be better placed. From Michelin-starred restaurants to hole-in-the-wall eateries, there is no shortage of dining options in Manhattan. And when sightseeing is on the agenda, it’s an easy subway ride to the Empire State Building.

Modern Simplicity

Perfect for a couple or lone business traveller visiting the Big Apple, this compact apartment in the Lower East Side places you within easy reach of restaurants, cafes, galleries and shops. It’s a small space, especially the bedroom, but it's comfortable and well-thought-out. Plus, it offers one bonus that many New York apartments don’t – on-street parking. Of course, a car isn't necessary, as there are plenty of Subway stations within walking distance for when you’re keen to hop across the city. 

Manhattan Soul

Modern, bright, and a little bit luxurious – this apartment is a lovely pick for solo travellers or couples visiting the city. You'll find a well-equipped kitchen and the dining table doubles up as a laptop-friendly workspace for those planning a longer stay. It's also worth noting that your host operates several apartments here, so the exact view, layout and furnishings might differ slightly from the photos. However, the overall quality should remain the same. But the biggest draw is, of course, the home's fabulous Greenpoint location. You'll find open green spaces, waterfront parks, casual eateries and trendy bars right on your doorstep. 

The Colour of You

Tucked away in the Upper East Side, this cosy apartment lends itself well to a big city stay. Space is limited, but for a work trip or a weekend getaway it's got a great location, and you can even bring a furry friend for a fee. The compact kitchen lets you rustle up snacks or small meals, while the surrounding restaurants and cafes offer everything from classic bagels and cronuts to Michelin-starred cuisine. In one direction you'll find Central Park, with the scenic East River in the other. To top it all off, nearby subway stations make commuting or sightseeing a breeze.

Dreams on the Upper East Side

Situated in the heart of the desirable Upper East Side in Manhattan, you’ll be surrounded by an array of boutiques, restaurants and bars. You can have a stroll along its tree-lined streets filled with brownstone homes or visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Central Park. Housed in a well-maintained building, you’ll be glad to return to this modern apartment. If you don’t fancy eating out, you can create some home cooked food in the well-equipped kitchen. This place is ideal for family, friends or business colleagues looking for a fantastic location in the Big Apple.

Upper East Side

If you’ve ever wondered how to get privacy in New York City, we’ve found the answer for you – fifty-two floors off the ground! And that’s exactly what you’ll get at Belle Vue. With floor-to-ceiling windows and sweeping city views, this glossy home matches its slick cityscape. While the surrounding skyscrapers make for incredible impressions, the downside is that this area is mainly commercial and therefore not the most vibrant neighbourhood. If you’re okay with that, however, you’ll love that the building grants guests access to the private gym and pool. 

Belle Vue

With a whopping 5,700 square feet, it doesn’t get much more spacious than this loft in NYC, stretching an entire block of Fifth Avenue. Inside you’ll find three large living areas, in sleek black and white with fur blankets adding a touch of comfort. The twelve-person dining table is crowned with a modernist chandelier above, like a work of art, and exposed pillars and huge windows throughout give you that real New York loft feeling. The kitchen isn’t short of space either, with a pendant-lamp lit island creating a social space during mealtimes, but there are plenty of restaurants and bars in the area if you want to eat out – you’re in the beating centre of New York after all. When the time comes to hit the hay, each bedroom has a king- or queen-size bed and each one has its own walk-in wardrobe so there’s no need to pack light.

Suite Life

In a little-trafficked (by Manhattan standards) corner of the Upper East Side, Heirloom provides you with a haven to retreat, away from the bustle normally associated with the city. That calm feeling has clearly influenced the interior design as well, with certain nods to Scandinavia, and nice variety of houseplants. The kitchen’s a draw too, with a good set of appliances (although no food is provided). It’s set over two floors, with a terrace split over two levels as well, so even if you decide to use the futon, it feels like it’s big enough.


Heirloom

Small but stylish, this apartment is perfect for a solo traveller. It may be pocket-sized, but the design makes the most of the space. There's a small desk if you're in town on business, a compact kitchenette ideal for post-adventure snacks, and a quaint bedroom where you can relax after sightseeing around The Big Apple. Speaking of, you'll be in the trendy Lower East Side, a short stroll away from multiple subway stations and close to great bars and restaurants. This is a walk-up apartment, though, so climbing stairs is necessary. 

Bowery Baby

Ideal for exploring all that NYC has to offer, with Soho, Noho Union Square, and NYU all within walking distance, this East Village apartment ticks a lot of boxes. As you’d expect from a studio, space is limited here, but you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay in the city. If you’re travelling for business, the desk makes remote working a breeze, while the outdoor terrace is an added bonus – just the spot to relax in after a day of sightseeing.
