This peaceful apartment lies in the midst of Franschhoek, just a ten-minute walk from the village centre. The balcony offers some lovely sunset views and space for alfresco dining. Both bedrooms have en-suites and the twin beds in the second bedroom can be converted into a king bed on request, making it great for couples or friend groups. Children under the age of 12 aren't permitted, but we think families with older children will feel right at home here. You can rent a bike to explore the beautiful area, but we recommend hiring a car for trips down to Cape Town's coast.

We absolutely love the views over the ocean from this home's communal pool deck. There's a gym for your daily workout and a sky bar, restaurant, lounge, entertainment hub, barbecue area and boutique here, too. The shared facilities are excellent, we have to say. There are more city views and sea glimpses to enjoy from this apartment's private wraparound balcony. Another feature we love is that both bedrooms open onto the terrace and have en-suites. We haven't mentioned the location yet. Well, you'll be near the popular Sea Point Promenade, while the V&A Waterfront is a five to ten-minute drive away.

You'll have your pick of outdoor seating at this Cape Town villa, and rest easy knowing you'll have spectacular views of the iconic Table Mountain from wherever you choose to sit. Hanging chairs, sun loungers and an alfresco dining table appear alongside a private infinity pool and lush garden.
