After a long day of showing off your skills on the ski slopes, the top priority is getting somewhere toasty and warm as quickly as possible. At Vuokatti Ski Centre in the middle of Finland, this apartment will help you do just that. Not only is there a fireplace in the living room that you can huddle around, but there's also a glass-doored sauna in the bathroom — also handy for sweating out any toxins if you overdid it at the apres-ski bars the night before Aside from that, we also like the minimalist kitchen with sleek white surfaces that are big enough for whipping up hearty feasts and the balcony that looks out to peaceful forest views. During the summer months, you can even fire up the gas barbecue in this space and dine alfresco. Given that the home sits in the middle of a ski resort, the distance to the slopes is pretty important and thankfully, you can reach them in a little over five minutes' walk here. If you're looking for a little variety, there's a theme park less than five minutes' drive away and the banks of Lake Jäätiönlampi in about half that time.
