Click to book Fitzclapham now: from £350 per night From art to zen, this large Clapham home has something for everyone. It’s big enough for families, with a back garden, single bedroom and farmhouse dining table – not to mention that beckoning swing. Yet the cool design chairs and funky four-poster bed feel distinctly adult, as does a well-equipped kitchen ready to thrill foodies. There’s office space for anyone needing to work, and a bathtub for post-sightseeing soaks. Clapham Common is nearby, as is its Underground station and surrounding high street. Sleeps up to 9 | 5 Bedrooms | 3 Bathrooms
Cream and Sugar
Click to book Cream and Sugar now: from £650 per night Bright and lovingly decorated, this Victorian family home is just as charming on the inside as it is on the outside. Add in the beautiful back garden with bright shrubs, budding trees and hedges for privacy and you have yourself the perfect setting for warm summer nights. We love how the dining room doors fling open onto the patio – follow them inside and find a thoughtfully designed white and cream home with a decidedly French feel. The open kitchen plan creates a sociable atmosphere while the bedrooms are plush, comfortable and wonderfully private with elegant chandeliers and soaking tubs. You’ll be just a fourteen-minute walk from the lovely Clapham Common and set in the heart of Abbeville Village with its bustle of shops and restaurants. Should you want to reach central London, it’s twenty minutes by car or twenty-seven by public transit. Sleeps up to 9 | 5 Bedrooms | 4 Bathrooms
The River Plush
Click to book The River Plush now: from £550 per night This million-pound view will grab you every time at this sixth-floor apartment in a prestigious building. The second thing that you'll notice is the superb quality in every room. Tactile, comfortable furnishings meet modern innovation here, and no expense has been spared in making sure guests are well provided for. There are integrated storage spaces, a high-spec kitchen and an LED lighting feature, but our favourite spot is without doubt the winter garden. You'll feel like you’re sipping your morning coffee suspended above the Thames. And to top it all off there’s a shared swimming pool, sauna and fitness centre in the building for your use. Heading out into London is easy too, Vauxhall tube station is just minutes away and you can even walk to Buckingham Palace in around thirty minutes. This is London living at its finest. Sleeps up to 5 | 2 Bedrooms | 2 Bathrooms
Click to book Noble Circle now: from £2000 per night It’s hard to know where to begin with this English Lord's opulent Georgian home. We could talk for hours about the attention and care that has gone into its grand interior, but in the interest of brevity, we’ll just give you the highlights. A Grade II listed home, it’s been renovated in lavish Regency style. Step through the front door and you’ll be transported to another era, with splendid Art Deco artefacts, traditional paint colours, a library filled with leather-bound books, museum-worthy artwork and crockery monogrammed by Elizabeth Royal. Indeed, the master bedroom is fit for a queen, with a bespoke William Yeoward four-poster bed, and a boudoir-style en-suite. The other bedrooms are equally splendid, with a plush boutique feel and silver keys for each provided in a velvet pouch. It’s those little details that take the home from superb to outstanding (you can even choose your own bespoke scented candle). We could spend hours just wandering around the home, taking in the rich array of artworks, the one-of-a-kind antiques and the gifts from the royal family. If you do manage to tear yourself away though, you’re a short seven-minute walk from Stockwell underground station for access to the city’s riches. After a full day in central London, come back for a formal meal in the dining room. As well as two housekeeping staff to keep your regal residence spick and span, and an on-request Michelin-trained chef, so there's no need to lift a finger. Sleeps up to 8 | 4 Bedrooms | 4 Bathrooms
Click to book Scarlet Ibis now: from £319 per night There’s something about mews houses that embodies London more than just about any other structure, perhaps even more than the imposing Georgian townhouses. Scarlet Ibis – tucked away on a mews in Battersea – has that unique spirit. The interiors are calming, largely characterised by neutral tones, albeit with a few splashes of colour dotted about the place. We also loved the small garden in the back. And for an even larger green space, the beautiful Battersea Park (arguably London's best) is only a few steps away. Sleeps up to 6 | 3 Bedrooms | 2 Bathrooms
