We could talk for hours about the attention and care that has gone into its grand interior, but in the interest of brevity, we’ll just give you the highlights. A Grade II listed home, it’s been renovated in lavish Regency style. Step through the front door and you’ll be transported to another era, with splendid Art Deco artefacts, traditional paint colours, a library filled with leather-bound books, museum-worthy artwork and crockery monogrammed by Elizabeth Royal. Indeed, the master bedroom is fit for a queen, with a bespoke William Yeoward four-poster bed, and a boudoir-style en-suite. The other bedrooms are equally splendid, with a plush boutique feel and silver keys for each provided in a velvet pouch. It’s those little details that take the home from superb to outstanding (you can even choose your own bespoke scented candle). We could spend hours just wandering around the home, taking in the rich array of artworks, the one-of-a-kind antiques and the gifts from the royal family. If you do manage to tear yourself away though, you’re a short seven-minute walk from Stockwell underground station for access to the city’s riches. After a full day in central London, come back for a formal meal in the dining room.
