Top 20 Garibaldi, Milan vacation rentals & luxury serviced apartments
Garibaldi takes its name from the large train station that sits on its Northern edge. It's a lovely, mainly residential neighbourhood to be based in - it's set back away from the more hectic centre, but still within easy walking distance (only a twenty minutes amble to Brera and thirty minutes to the Duomo). The neighbourhood has a few great restaurants and we especially recommend the wonderfully traditional Antica trattoria della Pesa. The neighbourhood is to home to fashionable pedestrianised thoroughfare Corso Como, with cheap eateries and the legendary, eponymous lifestyle store and cafe. Via Maroncelli is lovely street, which has some interesting, upmarket design shops along it.
