Top 20 Nolita, New York vacation rentals & luxury serviced apartments
Nolita (North of Little Italy) is a gem of a neighbourhood. This picturesque and vibrant area is a must-see on any tourist's list - it's relatively traffic-free, which lends it a laid-back, village-like feel - it's full of alfresco cafes, design stores, pop-up galleries, and plenty of great spots for leisurely dinner and drinks. It sits at the nexus of a number of popular downtown neighbourhoods: Soho, Noho, the Lower East Side, and Little Italy. This is a great part of town to stroll through on a bright Manhattan day - great people-watching and definitely ready for its Instagram close-up. It's also super well connected subway-wise. One thing to know – New York is a very busy city (it’s not called “the city that never sleeps” for nothing). As part of an authentic New York experience, you can expect a fair amount of noise and construction coming from the streets, whether it be a passing delivery truck, honking yellow taxis, or roadwork. Remember that those impressive skyscrapers do come at a cost – scaffolding can be part of the architectural landscape.
