An open-plan living room/kitchen provides direct access to the outdoors via a balcony, alongside expansive views over downtown. So there's plenty of space to come together and socialise, whether you're stretched out on the sofa or preparing dinner in the handcrafted kitchen. 

Elsewhere, the bedrooms offer a haven of zen-like calm in the middle of Manhattan, with walk-in wardrobes and a Carrara marble en-suite off the main bedroom, adding a touch of luxury. Head upstairs, and you'll uncover a rooftop terrace that offers direct southern vistas over Washington Square Park, MacDougal Alley and the Empire State Building. 

Down at street level, the delights of Greenwich Village await. Undoubtedly Manhattan's most charming neighbourhood, it's attracted the city's quirky and creative types since the sixties. Uproarious comedy clubs and excellent restaurants make it a real nighttime destination, but there's plenty to do during daylight hours. Stroll half a block to the much-loved Washington Square Park, lay out on Pier 45, or wander up to Chelsea Market for cuisine from every part of the globe – both fifteen minutes away.

Macdougal Lofts

Sure, this is a sizeable space with nice amenities but the real draw here is your view! From every bedroom, you have stupefying, unimpeded, 19th floor views of the Empire State Building. You don't even have to leave your home to capture some of the most iconic shots of the city. The decor might be a bit generic but your stay will be all the more enhanced by a full serviced building with gym and laundry facilities in-house.

Stay in prime Midtown with this freshly renovated home. It’s just under twenty minutes on foot to one of New York’s most famous landmarks, the Empire State Building, or Madame Tussauds New York is just over a five-minute stroll. Fashionistas, on the other hand, can head to the Garment District, home to the biggest concentration of fashion designers and manufacturers in the USA – just a four-minute wander. After all that sightseeing, you’ll need somewhere super comfy to chill out in – this apartment is perfect. We love the luxurious touches such as velvet curtains and the marble countertops, as well as the artworks dotted around this abode. If you're in the Big Apple on business, you’ll be glad to know there are desks here too. Stylish and practical – this apartment offers the best of both worlds.

Young Lion

Whether you're in Manhattan for business or pleasure, this apartment is a fuss-free spot to rest your head. It's perched in bustling Midtown East, just a few blocks from the East River and walking distance from landmarks like Rockefeller Center and the MoMA. The apartment itself isn't wow-worthy, but it's stylish enough and the kitchen is well-equipped for an NYC pad. Be sure to take advantage of on-site amenities, ranging from a shared library and rooftop terrace to a communal fitness centre and playroom for little ones. There's even rare on-site parking, but you’ll need to pay to use it.

Starlight Sky

This New York apartment on East 34th Street is close to the East River, which you can see from your window. Why not start each day with a bagel from the cafe that is a short two-minute walk from your home, and while you eat it, plan out your day in the city that never sleeps? 

Much of what New York City has to offer is within walking distance from this home, including, the Chrysler Building – a short sixteen-minute walk away, and the Empire State Building, which is a short fifteen-minute walk away. Ascend to the top of the Empire State Building and admire the city from above. Or, take a quick eight-minute cab journey to admire the city from the Rockefeller city, instead, providing a different perspective of Manhattan from the top of the rock. What’s more, the One World Observatory and the 9/11 memorial are just eleven minutes away from this apartment by car. 

Wander past the Flat Iron building, which can be reached within twenty-five minutes by foot, and take a rest in Madison Square Gardens. Go shopping in Times Square, which is just seventeen minutes away, on public transport. Or, watch a musical in one of Broadway’s world-famous theatres – just eleven minutes away by car. 

Spend the day in Central Park – just eleven minutes away from this home in a cab – and as you wander the expansive green space, enjoy the fountains, statues, boating pond or even the zoo. Or, hop on a ferry for twenty-two minutes to explore Roosevelt Island. 

Grand Central station is also within walking distance from this home and can be reached within twenty-one minutes. Admire the amazing painted ceilings with their constellations, or meet some by the famous clock. 

Whether you choose to take in some art at the MOMA – a thirty-five minute walk away, or visit Radio City Music Hall – an eleven-minute drive away, there are plenty of sights to see and activities to enjoy not far away from this apartment.

Urban Manhattan

The sheer white curtains, lush plant life, and bright decor of this fabulous home put you immediately at ease in this bustling and lively city. Situated on a quiet Chelsea block, it's just minutes away from the bars and galleries this arty neighbourhood is known for. Plus, you're a twelve-minute walk from the Flatiron and can arrive in the Meatpacking District within fifteen minutes. The nearest train station, 23rd Street, is just a three-minute walk away if you need to go further afield. This is a tiny, 300-square foot studio, so won't be for those needing to spread out. But it's quaint and cosy as can be for a solo traveller or romantic getaway – and with a location like this, we think you'll be doing more going out than staying in. 


Swoon

Located in lively Greenwich Village, this bright apartment is trendy inside and out. From here, you're a short walk from countless eateries, cafes, jazz clubs, and off-broadway theatres, so there's plenty to fill your days right on your doorstep. While we love the stylish interiors, living space is limited, so we suggest packing light and a maximum of five people. It's also worth noting that the kitchenette is only suitable for preparing lighter bites, so you'll generally have to order in or sample the local restaurants when it comes to dinnertime. 

The Contender

This luxurious home is a Gramercy Park gem. Step from the tree-lined block to a world of style and elegance, accessed via a grand staircase. You’ll know you’ve arrived when you take in the 12-foot-tall ceilings, marble staircase, and piano in the parlour. The chef’s kitchen, which leads to a deck with direct access to a private landscaped garden space, is a splendid spot for gathering together, whether you’re a keen home cook or prefer to order in. The rest of this beautiful home unfolds over three floors – there’s no chance of feeling crowded here. 

Gramercy Goals

Give East Village living a whirl at this smart townhouse set within walking distance to the chilled-out cafes and vibey music venues of the Lower East Side. Set out across three floors –⁠ there’s plenty of space for you to all spill out here, and the dedicated desks are handy should you need a quiet place to work. With no private parking to speak of, you’re best off sticking to the subway – just a four-minute walk from your door. Or, if time is on your side, hit the streets – there's no better way to take in this happening city.

The Ethos

Experience one of New York's trendiest areas from this eclectic loft, nestled in the heart of Soho. With a well-equipped kitchen, breakfast bar and dining table, there's potential for eating in, but the cafes and restaurants lining the streets just outside your doorstep might convince you otherwise. Try a different one every day between visiting Rockefeller Park, Washington Square Park and China Town.  There's plenty else to see within walking distance, but the public transport links nearby can also get you to The Empire State Building or Manhattan Park in minutes.  That's a thumb's up on location – now throw in light-letting oversized windows, plenty of space and an office, and you're onto something.

Bauhaus Quarters

Lofts in the Big Apple don’t get more iconic than this. High ceilings, exposed brick and pipes, Corinthian columns and a stainless steel, industrial style kitchen that radiates a forthright New York attitude. The contemporary design hits just the right note of comfort and cool, and its modern bathrooms offer luxurious relaxation—we’d be making a beeline for that Jacuzzi bath. After a hot coffee at the breakfast bar and placing a bottle of wine in the cooler for later, it’s time to get stuck into your NoHo locale. Situated just east of Broadway, connecting you to the heart of the dazzling Theatre District, and adjacent to the bohemian East Village, where you’re in touching distance of endless old-school bars, cool cocktail lounges, vintage shops and hip restaurants. If you want to head outside of Lower Manhattan, Bleecker Street subway station is a two-minute walk away.
