Top 20 Bonfim, Porto vacation rentals & luxury serviced apartments
Bonfim is a neighbourhood where you can really blend in and live like a local. It’s not at all overrun by tourists. It was formerly an industrial area, and in parts the architecture still bears traces of this. There’s a real mix of local businesses as well as trendy cafes and restaurants — a good fit for families or groups after a low-key base not too far from the centre. It’s not exactly rich in monuments, but it’s a short walk into the old town, so you can still fully experience all of Porto’s monuments and architecture. While being great for people who want to escape the traffic and noise, it also has a burgeoning youth culture thanks to the growing numbers of young things moving in for the lower rents.
