Top 20 San Saba, Rome vacation rentals & luxury serviced apartments
Bordering Testaccio to the west, San Saba is a similarly working-class neighbourhood. You won’t find the grand buildings of Prati here, but you will experience a side of Rome detached from the tourist crowds and like its more famous neighbour, there is plenty to attract the more culinary-minded guest. You aren’t missing out on history either, as San Saba is one of the original Seven Hills and boasts the enormous Caracalla Baths. To get to the more famous sights, you’ll want to take a bus or taxi, so if you're keen to do the classic sightseeing tour, a more central location might be better. If, however, you’re after something a little different, San Saba is a good bet. It’s also well connected to the metro - by no means a guarantee in Rome.
