You could while away hours simply admiring the stunning views from the balcony or living area. But it will be hard to resist the fun that awaits outdoors. 

This home is a gateway to the majestic Chamonix-Mont-Blanc region, where adventurers come to ski, hike, mountain bike or simply enjoy this location. The closest ski lifts are within five-minutes walk and the centre of Argentière is only eight-minutes on foot. You’ll love the laid-back and rustic charm of this village. After a day exploring mountain paths, enjoy a heart-warming drink at a local bar.

The Juliette

Known for its beginner-friendly slopes and stunning Swiss Alps scenery, it's no surprise that Villars-sur-Ollon is a popular destination for families. Whether you're after excellent hiking in the summer, fantastic skiing in the winter or just a relaxing getaway in the mountains, there's something for everyone here, especially with the gondola a twelve-minute walk away, a free ski shuttle service and the restaurants and shops in town only six minutes by car.

This cosy chalet shows off the idyllic views in every direction and makes an ideal base for anyone exploring the region. You'll feel right at home in this rustic hideaway, with the open-hearth fireplace, squishy sofas and wooden panelling creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's the perfect place to kick off your snow boots and unwind with a cup of hot cocoa and a good book.

Our favourite spot to soak up the sunshine (and the scenery) is the deck off the main bedroom. Enjoy a cup of coffee there in the morning before rustling up breakfast in the kitchen, then grab your skis and snowboards and hit the slopes. When your toes feel frosty and your muscles are sore, head back home to a roaring fire and some delicious cheese fondue around the oak dining table before snuggling up for a family movie night in the lounge. 

Sommet

We love the views over to Mont-Blanc from the terrace of this home. Inside, the living space has the wow factor and the owners’ love of art, design, and architecture shows in the decoration and furnishings. This place is perfect for family or friends with its cosy fireplace, sauna, TV and games area, and dormitory room that the children will love. There’s also a reading corner and an office space for when you need to catch up on work. Set at the end of a private road on the edge of the forest, this home has a wonderful location. It’s 500 metres from the ski lifts and offers easy access to hiking and bike trails.

Alpine Sojourn

This apartment is located in the heart of Chamonix, making it the perfect skiing escape for large families or groups of friends. Inside, the living area offers a cosy cabin feel while the modern decor keeps things stylish. Outside, you'll find a lovely outdoor space perfect for taking in the crisp mountain air over breakfast. The building offers a range of amenities, including spa facilities, a fitness centre and a games room, so you can unwind and recharge after a long day on the slopes. Location-wise Le Gui is just a short walk away from all the best restaurants, shops, and attractions that Chamonix has to offer.

The Champagne Chateau

In a quiet area of Montriond, France, this chalet boasts a balcony with incredible mountain views, a private garden, a cosy roaring fireplace in the living room, plus, its own sauna, and outdoor hot tub. Grab your skiing equipment each morning from the storage room and hit the slopes in no time with the nearby ski lifts. 

Aprés-ski, we would love to slip into the soothing bubbles of the hot tub, surrounded by the snowy landscape to admire or soothe our muscles in the home’s sauna. Grab a bottle of wine from the wine fridge in the kitchen and enjoy a nightcap on the balcony. Then, curl up warm and cosy with a mug of hot chocolate in front of the fireplace. 

Alpine Snow

This cosy chalet, with its own private garden and dining area, is the perfect getaway for both summer and winter holidays in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. Start each morning with a cup of coffee alfresco as the crisp, fresh air wakes you up and gets you ready for a day full of adventures. Located just nine minutes away from the nearest ski resort, you can grab your equipment from the home’s dedicated ski storage room and be hitting the slopes in no time.

Why not explore the beautiful central Chamonix – a short ten-minute drive away or head to Le Bossons Glacier, reachable by car within thirteen minutes, and enjoy the breath-taking beauty of the views on offer? For more adventurous activities, tree-top climbing and a rock climbing crag in Lac des Gaillards are both only five minutes away by car, while horse riding is also on offer and can be reached in eleven minutes from this home. 

In the evening, we would love nothing more than to snuggle up in the warmth of this cabin and admire the snowy mountain views outside. Or, curl up on the sofa with a good book from the bookcase. 

Glacé Glaciers

This Alpine chalet is so quintessentially Swiss you’ll half expect a pig-tailed, basket-swinging Heidi to skip out of the front door to greet you. Which is certainly apt, as this home looks like it’s leapt straight from the pages of a storybook. With its Burgundy-coloured shutters, wooden exterior, ornate balcony, and surrounded by towering pine trees – velvety green in summer and dusted with snow in winter – this home is a delight to look at from the outside. And the inside isn’t half bad either – warm wood dominates the decor and creates that cosy, cabin feel. But there are flashes of personality here too, with vintage ski posters, deer-print cushions and glittering chandelier lights in the master bedroom. The real draw is the views – thanks to the home's elevated position you’ll be rewarded with a sensational picture of the Alps from both the sunny balcony and garden. The ski slopes are within easy reach, with the lift and free ski bus both just a kilometre away.

Among Pines

This chalet is warm, welcoming and perfectly located in St. Martin de Belleville with immediate access to the largest ski hotbed in the world. With space for a large family or group of friends, this is the perfect escape for those for rest and relaxation in the Alps. Only 200 metres from the lift, you can ski out from the property and enjoy the fresh powder before returning home to decompress in the indoor pool or sauna and enjoy a meal completely tailored to your own taste and needs. The staff who manages the property is impeccably communicative and hospitable. 

Three Valleys

Nestled in the picturesque Alpine village of Montriond, in the heart of the stunning Portes du Soleil ski area, Enchanting Alpine Haven is an elegant five-bedroom property providing up to twelve guests with breathtaking views and a truly rejuvenating mountain retreat. Boasting warm and welcoming interiors, luxurious facilities and an enchanting location, the chalet is perfectly placed for guests to make the most of the highest pistes the Portes du Soleil has to offer, with both Morzine and the Ardent cable car (for direct access to the Avoriaz ski area) only a matter of minutes away by car. Lovingly designed with traditional timber framing, Enchanting Alpine Haven offers guests a harmonious blend of classical alpine charm and sleek contemporary finishes. Start your day on the sunny terrace of the chalet, where you can savor a freshly brewed cup of coffee while taking in the breathtaking views...

Ski Retreat Sanctuary

There's nothing shy or retiring about this Swiss chalet, where bigger is better. Set against a backdrop of towering peaks and dramatic vistas, this home has taken some of that theatre to heart. The living room is huge, with a gigantic fuchsia sofa that could fit your party – and then some – in front of a feature brick fireplace. The kitchen is well-equipped with traditional goodies, including a fondue set and raclette grill, providing fodder for epic feasts. The slopes are only 100m away – the ski lift is a kilometre away – meaning competent skiers can strap up and just speed off on a day's adventure. Big baths await to soak tired muscles in bedrooms and bathrooms, our favourite being the stretched tub in the master suite – we're pretty sure there's room for two. If you're visiting in summer, a spacious garden and terrace furniture is perfect for catching the sunset, and if you need a break from all that cheese, you can fire up the barbecue.

With wondrous mountain views, a warming hot tub, and an incredible location, this chalet apartment presents some of the area’s best alpine living. Enjoy a day on the slopes before heading for a delicious lunch in Argentière – all that skiing certainly works up an appetite. There are several bars and pubs to enjoy a well-deserved drink, too. Or, you can make your way to the centre of Chamonix – it’s about a fifteen-minute drive away – to take full advantage of its bustling après ski scene.
