Situated in the Montgó district, at the foot of the Montgó Natural Park and just 3 kilometres from the centre of desirable Dénia and the beach – this home has a great address. There are sea vistas from the balcony and terrace and a private swimming pool to cool off from the Costa Blanca heat. Inside, yes, the kitchen is a little dated for some tastes, but we're sure you'll soon forget about that when you see the Mediterranean Sea views. One thing to note with this home, though, is the third bedroom on the upper floor is accessed via an external spiral staircase. That said, it may appeal to members of the group who want a bit more privacy.

Smack bang in the heart of delightful Dénia, this no-fuss apartment is perfect for couples or solo travellers looking for some rest and relaxation on the Costa Blanca. Inside, the place strikes a balance between comfort and function. There’s a compact kitchen equipped for quick meals and a quiet bedroom to ensure a peaceful sleep night after night. But it was the view that was our favourite part. We could’ve spent hours on that modular chair, watching the palm trees sway and the boats to and fro from the harbour, only breaking our gaze to open a bottle of Rioja as the sun sets. Spend mornings exploring your locale – you’re a ten-minute walk from the Dénia Castle and eighteen minutes from the Marineta Casiana Beach. If you’re feeling curious, take the twenty-minute drive to Parc Natural del Montgó for stunning hiking routes or catch the ferry from the port to the dazzling Balearic Islands.

There's a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable living room area to relax in – albeit a little dated in terms of decor. Equipped for all seasons, there's a fireplace for cooler evenings and air conditioning for the summer months. We love the lawned gardens surrounding this family-friendly home – they boast superb sea and mountain views and include a large private pool and BBQ area too. While you can explore the local area on foot, we suggest a car for ease – Parc Natural del Montgó is less than 2km from the villa.

This apartment is nestled on the coast of the historic Javea, a short walk from the sea. The central location means parking will be tricky, but you'll be close to public transport. You'll want to pack light here – the home is small, but has everything needed for a fuss-free stay. We especially like the private balcony, which offers natural light and enough space to sit out with a drink. If you want a base for exploring the town and coastline, you can't get much closer to the action.

Situated in Jávea, you’ll be just five kilometres from sandy beaches and the Medieval streets of the old town. Situated high up in the hills, you’ll have plenty of peace, privacy and incredible views over the mountains and valley, but bear in mind that a car is necessary to reach the villa. If you’d rather not venture out, three levels offer plenty of space to relax, plus a garden containing a private pool and Jacuzzi for those alfresco evenings.

This single-storey villa is set within a wooded and residential beach area in the neighborhood of Cabo de la Nao and is a great choice for a romantic getaway. The decor is a little dated and basic but it has all the necessary amenities for a comfortable self-catered stay – and the mountain views are breathtaking. Take a dip in the large private pool, fire up the BBQ for lunch on the terrace, or bask in the Spanish sun on the furnished balcony. While you can explore the local area on foot, we recommend a car for ease – the coastal town of Javea is less than 5km from the villa and its port is well worth a visit.

Ideally located a ten-minute walk from Platja de l'Arenal, this boho-chic is all about beach days and relaxing in style. Linen, wood, wicker and concrete make up the interiors, creating a calming environment that’s a pleasure to spend time in. Sure, this apartment in the heart of Javea might be a little simple when it comes to interior design, but people don't come to this corner of Spain to be wowed by home decor – not when there's a wealth of exemplary beaches, hiking routes and seafront restaurants that lie within easy walking distance to explore. That's not to say you'll dread returning home, however. For instance, the balcony – while small – has a rather charming view of the town's port and the Mediterranean Sea stretching into the distance.

This charming, characterful and quintessentially Spanish home boasts a private garden and alfresco dining area as well as plenty of indoor-outdoor seating and a balcony from which to admire the stunning, surrounding countryside. Set within established and oh-so-peaceful gardens, you'd hardly believe this home is so close to Denia's bustle. You're just 500 metres away from the sandy shores of La Marinas and five kilometres from the history-rich streets of Denia – considered one of Costa Blanca's most desirable coastal towns. Back home, this traditional villa is well suited for guests looking for a little extra privacy, with each light-filled bedroom offering a separate bathroom. Though prepare to tussle for the primary bedroom with a ginormous freestanding bath in the en-suite and garden views to boot.

The Moonflower 

This is a villa that will have even the most hard-to-please guests grinning. A lot of that is down to its fabulous views of the glistening Mediterranean and Isla del Portitxol, but special praise also goes to the peaceful swimming pool surrounded by treetops and the covered terrace complete with an alfresco dining table. Although some of the bathrooms are a little dated, we've only got kind words for the three-level layout – we particularly love the main bedroom with a sea-facing balcony. To top it all off, you don't have far to venture for beautiful gold-sand beaches, either.

It is based in the beautiful region of Javea in Alicante, just a short drive from the stunning Parc Natural del Montgó, ideal for those looking to explore some Spanish nature. Inside, the home is charming and characterful, with a mix of traditional touches and modern flair – the outside is where this home truly shines, however. Here, you'll find a stunning private pool, as well as a hot tub for resting weary muscles after long hikes in the hills. So close to so many sights like the Castell de Dénia, you'll have the best of both worlds by being able to keep busy on the golf course, promenade or hiking routes like Via Verda de Dénia, or opt for more laid-back days in the garden where you'll find the private pool and shaded patio table surrounded by lush greenery. 


Sunshine & Salty Waters

Boasting gorgeous views, a private pool, and space for alfresco dining, this villa guarantees a stylish stay. It's not suitable for young children due to the lack of fencing in the some of the outdoor areas and the pool, but there are ground-floor bedrooms and bathrooms, and a double sofa bed for some extra flexibility in the sleeping arrangements. We highly recommend having a car here, but it's not far to drive into the centre of Jávea or the nearby golf course. Further away, you'll find spectacular days out in the bustling city of Alicante and its beautiful beaches.

This apartment is a great spot for a family looking to explore Javea and its pristine coastline. There’s a private terrace overlooking the communal garden, and a lift to add to the comfort and convenience of the apartment. Meanwhile, the shared pool offers a great opportunity to spend time with the kids and soak up the Mediterranean sun. Since this home is part of a complex of apartments, there may be some noise from neighbours – we suggest packing earplugs to ensure a good night's sleep. With the sands of Platja de l'Arenal right on your doorstep, this is a perfect location for beach lovers.

The compact kitchen is kitted out for Mediterranean bites whilst the living space is a perfect spot to enjoy a glass of Albariño – though we expect you’ll be most inclined to savour this from the armchairs on your terrace. Nothing will feel better than sinking into your sheets in your light-filled bedroom, french doors open, after a day soaking up the sun and swimming in the resort’s winding pool.

We love how well-positioned this apartment is. You’re just a short walk from the sands of Platja de l'Arenal – pick up a few delicacies and enjoy a picnic on the beach or sample the local cuisine from one of the town’s authentic sea-grazing tavernas.

With its secluded setting and old-style finca ambiance, this home is a beguiling getaway on the outskirts of Jávea. The luxurious country house features nature-blending interiors, with each room taking inspiration from its surroundings. Textiles in terracotta, rust and burnt orange complement original stone and wood features, while blue-green accents of the bed frame, shower curtain and sofa, tie in with the verdant gardens and turquoise pool. We were particularly taken by the Majolica pottery that lines the kitchen walls. Outside, there are umpteen options for alfresco dining, all boasting knockout views of the undulating landscape. Spend your time relaxing on the shaded daybed, watching the sun set among the lemon trees or enjoying a private moment on your bedroom’s patio.  If you fancy it, Arenal beach is less than a fifteen-minute drive away. But it won’t be long until you're back home on the terrace living the good life –  barbecue lit, glass of Priorat red in hand, watching the palm trees sway in the breeze.

Movin' On Up

Mountain views, a private pool and contemporary rooms – this home welcomes you to enjoy it all from the hills of Jávea. Set across three floors, the house offers plenty of chill-out spots along with a hot tub, exercise equipment and an office for remote workers. It’s also family-friendly with cots and high chairs available on request and a children’s zone in the swimming pool. You will need a car to get around here, but it’s just 5 kilometres to the beach and the centre of Jávea.
