Dramatic views of forest-clad mountains run down to the ocean (it’s a 15-minute drive down to the sandy beach at Cala Finestrat). Surrounded by rambling gardens and grounds, this place is a secluded sanctuary. Two huge sun terraces and a huge, Roman-style swimming pool bask in the plentiful Costa Blanca sunshine. Balustraded terraces, arched porches, and stone-columned pergolas give a real sense of gravitas to the grounds. The location in the old town is fantastic – restaurants, shops, and bars are all steps away – though that does mean it can get a little noisy at night. Back home, there isn't any outdoor space, but the floor-to-ceiling windows act as an internal balcony, making it an excellent spot to savour a glass of wine and watch the world pass by. One guest will sleep on a sofa bed, and only the living area has air conditioning (the bedrooms have fans). That said, it does the trick for a central pad a short stroll from the beach.

With a string of eateries and bars close by and quick and easy access to sandy Levante Beach, this apartment in Benidorm's Old Town is a functional base for a family or group of friends. With floor-to-ceiling windows, the living area catches plenty of sunlight and is ideal for relaxing between excursions. That said, there isn't a tonne of space at capacity, with one guest on the sofa bed. But with that excellent location, we think you'll be out exploring too often to notice.

Coastline Memories

This seafront apartment boasts direct access to Levante Beach and a communal swimming pool. The views are lovely, and the sand is steps away, though the location does mean you can expect some outside noise. That said, parties and loud groups aren't allowed, so we think couples, friends, and families will settle right in. Your host can provide a cot and high chair for little ones, while the kitchen is more than equipped for whipping up large family meals. On-site parking is also available, but public transport is easily accessible for exploring all Benidorm has to offer.

Seaside Escape

With amazing panoramic views of the sea and Benidorm – this apartment is the ideal beach getaway. Open the sliding doors and let the sun and the sea air in while you eat in the airy dining area. This home can sleep six, but two people would be on a sofa bed in the living room so if you want ample living space, we’d say this home is better suited to four guests. The absolute highlight for us, though, is that it’s just 50 metres from the golden sands of Playa de Levante.

You can walk to the beach in just two minutes, and if you prefer the poolside to the sand, there’s a communal pool to cool off in too. From the balcony, you can admire sweeping views of the sea, bay and city – the water glitters in the sunshine. The apartment is compact but comfortable – it’s an ideal base for a couple wanting to be beside the sea.

Location-wise, you’ll find the beach is just a short walk away, while restaurants and shops are also within easy reach.

Surrounded by leafy palm trees and rolling green hills, this peaceful home is well-prepped to provide you with many happy holiday memories with your loved ones. The inside is rustic and stylish while the outside is glitzy and glam, with a private heated pool that's large enough for your morning lengths. In between the two sits the covered terrace, complete with dining and lounging areas for all your alfresco living needs. When you want to venture out, the heart of Altea is just a short drive away, and there are also plenty of sublime sandy beaches for you to visit along the famous White Coast.

Angles & Arches

If you’re searching for a getaway on Benidorm’s coast, this could be the home for you. Just 150 metres from Levante beach, this seventh-floor apartment is an ideal base for a seaside stay – don’t worry about climbing stairs though, the building has an elevator. At full occupancy, two guests will draw the short straw and be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room. This is at the expense of lounge space in what’s already a fairly cosy space, however, so the home may be better suited to four. 


The Mediterranean

If you’re looking to stay right on the Levante beachfront in Benidorm – this apartment is for you. We love the amazing views of the beach, bay, and mountains. There are sliding doors to a Juliet balcony, so you can feel the sun on your face and there's a sun shade if the Spanish heat gets too much. Sleeping five people, (one guest will be on a sofa bed in the living room) – there’s only one bathroom, so at full capacity, there could be a queue in the morning. But we can forgive this, as the location is great here – Playa de Levante is just 5 metres away and the nearest restaurant is under 50 metres from this home.

The Cider House

Smack bang in the heart of delightful Dénia, this no-fuss apartment is perfect for couples or solo travellers looking for some rest and relaxation on the Costa Blanca. Inside, the place strikes a balance between comfort and function. There’s a compact kitchen equipped for quick meals and a quiet bedroom to ensure a peaceful sleep night after night. But it was the view that was our favourite part. We could’ve spent hours on that modular chair, watching the palm trees sway and the boats to and fro from the harbour, only breaking our gaze to open a bottle of Rioja as the sun sets. Spend mornings exploring your locale – you’re a ten-minute walk from the Dénia Castle and eighteen minutes from the Marineta Casiana Beach. If you’re feeling curious, take the twenty-minute drive to Parc Natural del Montgó for stunning hiking routes or catch the ferry from the port to the dazzling Balearic Islands. 

Where The Boats Go By

This modern villa boasts an incredible location with an infinity swimming pool and stunning views of the Mediterranean coastline below. Spend your days soaking up the sun on one of the loungers, or bag a retro stripy deckchair in the shade and dive into the pool when the heat gets to you. Or, with the beach just a five-minute drive away, perhaps you'd rather relax on the sand. When We Have the Stars 

Enjoy the best of Benidorm from this bright and modern apartment. There's a chance you might hear some noise from other neighbours in the building during your stay, but you'll also have access to the shared tennis court and the communal pool during the summer. The private balcony offers lovely views of Levante beach and the Mediterranean sea, both right on your doorstep. A car isn't essential, but you might want one for exploring further afield. There are plenty of great spots within walking distance though, like local restaurants and bars, and the Aqualandia water park.

Nestled in a quiet spot in Altea, this villa has a private pool, three floors and two terraces to stretch your legs on. While some of the furnishings might be a little dated, the views from the bedrooms' balconies are fantastic. Altea la Vieja is a brisk twenty-minute walk from your doorstep, known for its restaurants and golf course.

It's plain to see that somebody with a real eye for design has worked their magic on this townhouse found in the coastal town of Calp. Everywhere you look inside, there are tasteful touches, from the dining table made from a repurposed door and the unashamedly bright colours on the walls to the sheer range of objets d'art dotted about the home.

We're also happy to say that there's plenty of substance behind this style. The sleek black kitchen not only looks the part, but it's also well-equipped for whipping up a feast. We're also fond of the terrace, which has views out over the rooftops and verdant hillsides beyond.

When you're ready to get to know the locale a little better, you'll be surprised at how much there is to see. All of three minutes' walk from the home is Torreó de la Peça, the centuries-old defensive walls built to protect the town from marauders. Arena-Bol beach is a ten-minute walk, while further along the coastline, it's possible to head up to the top of Penyal d'Ifac in just over an hour on foot for some incredible views.

Just a ten-minute drive inland from the picturesque town of Altea (and don’t worry, you will pass beaches en route), you’ll love unwinding in this zen-like villa. 

Traditional whitewashed walls and a terracotta roof are right on par with what you might expect in the area. But as you step inside, passing interesting shrubbery and succulents outside, the vibe is altogether more modern. We love the fresh and bright living space, with a cherry-red sofa suite and an ornately carved, wooden cabinet. Oversized bamboo canes and a woven lampshade complete the look as you move to the sunroom – a striking cylindrical structure that really sets the architecture apart from rustic traditions.

From here, peer out to your secluded gardens. Lush, green, and shaded by palms, the immaculate lawn surrounds a private, heated pool. Wander around to find orange trees popping up in the grass, and terracotta tiles leading up a staircase to the roof terrace – it's much easier to survey your kingdom from up here.
