If sightseeing is at the top of your Barcelona to-do list, this stylish apartment in the vibrant Eixample neighbourhood is the perfect spot. Not only are you a stone's throw from the Gaudi’s Casa Milà and Plaça de Catalunya, but you’ll have plenty of tapas bars and boutiques within walking distance. We love the tall ceilings and little balcony at this pad, where you can enjoy a glass of wine after a work session at the handy desk space. The kitchen is also well-equipped, but as you're in one of the world's most famous foodie destinations, we doubt you'll want to spend much time cooking.

De Retrato

This location couldn't be better for a Barcelona getaway. The apartment is perched above the bustling Passeig de Gràcia, just a short stroll from shops, restaurants, and landmarks like Casa Batlló. You'll even enjoy Gaudí views of your own here – Casa Milà is right across the street, and you can admire the iconic architecture from the living room windows. We think this is an excellent option for friends and families – there's ample space for socialising in the lounge, the kitchen is well-equipped for whipping up tapas, and the main bedroom has a walk-in closet and sleek en-suite. In this central spot, street noise is to be expected, but we think it's worth it for the view.

Milà Mirage

With a direct view of Gaudí's masterpiece Casa Batlló, this luxury home's location is an indisputable superpower. So, take a seat on the balcony with the complimentary bottle of cava and admire the vista here or from one of the beds. But that's not all it has to offer – the lovely hosts have made it their mission to compete with the architectural masterpieces in Eixample. A love for peacocks and flamingos is reflected in the many paintings and statues around this home, while the contrast between turquoise and pink is a dominant theme. Many of the design choices pay homage to traditional Catalan architecture and design, making this home more than just a comfortable place to stay. This residence is spread out over two wings, so it's ideal for a group of friends or extended family looking for some privacy. If you’re not satisfied with just seeing Casa Batlló from your window –  it’s just a two-minute saunter away. This apartment is right on Paseo De Gracia with its museums and designer boutiques galore, while lively Plaça Catalunya is under a ten-minute stroll. Or, visit one of Barcelona's most iconic attractions, the Sagrada Familia, just over a twenty-minute walk away.

Gaudi's Telescope

For a home in Barcelona away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy hotspots, but still within easy reach of every major sight, look no further. This charming apartment is one of seven in a quiet block in the L’Hospitalet de Llobregat suburb – it’s the perfect place to live like a local. 

The neighbourhood is as authentic as they come, with lots of lush parks to enjoy. We recommend starting your stay with a trip to Mercat de Collblanc, a fabulously lively market just a six-minute walk from the apartment. There you’ll be able to buy the freshest local produce – perhaps for a picnic in the park? If you’d prefer instead to simply soak up the atmosphere and admire the Art Deco build, you might plump for a few rounds of tapas in one of the bars. 

Getting into the thick of things is almost effortless – you need only stroll six minutes to the Torrassa metro stop to make your way into the centre of the city. A sixteen-minute journey can take you to the impressive Plaza Espana, with its statues and fountain. 

Whether you’re a staunch football fan or not, you can’t help but be awestruck by the atmosphere of Camp Nou. The home of FC Barcelona is just a fourteen-minute walk from the apartment, so it’s absolutely worth going for a tour even if you can’t get tickets to a match. 


Right By Your Side

When you’re planning on spending more than a few days in a new city, it’s important to have a comfortable home base. This lovely apartment is just that – it’s the perfect home from home. 

The apartment is in the L’Hospitalet de Llobregat suburb of Barcelona, with excellent transport links. You can zip in and out of the city centre on the metro with absolute ease, but when you’ve finished exploring for the day, you can return to a quiet neighbourhood to relax away from the crowds. 

The apartment is tranquil, with everything you might need for your stay. The bright and airy living space is flooded with light from the balcony, which is the perfect place to start your day – don’t forget your coffee. The double bedroom also has a cute little balcony, ideal for those moments of peace and quiet after a hectic day. 

The Torrassa metro station is just a six-minute walk away – you can reach sights like La Sagrada Familia in twenty-two minutes. For excellent views, hop in a cab for twenty-three minutes to Montjuïc Castle. The views of the port and out to sea are spectacular – why not take a picnic to enjoy while there? Football fans will be delighted to be within walking distance of Camp Nou – it’s only fourteen minutes away. Take in a match or mooch around the museum, and pop into a bar for tapas on your way back. 


Viva Barcelona

Cool, calm and collected, this Scandinavian-chic penthouse is blessed with plenty of charisma. Everything about this home is effortlessly stylish – we especially love the vintage Beni Ourain-inspired rug, the handcrafted wooden light fixture, and the 1950s Ercol butterfly chairs. However, the cherry on top is the huge arched window in the living room, which frames the beautiful buildings of Avenida Diagonal in a mesmerising way. So, excuse us while we take a moment to imagine ourselves sitting in front of the luminous windows, enjoying the majestic views. Should this magnificent view not be enough, there's also a welcoming private terrace that's kitted out for alfresco feasts, while the adjacent sunroom is perfect for an afternoon siesta. Enjoy a glass of cava on the sun lounger before heading out to explore the neighbourhood. Explore Eixample and stroll along nearby streets, including the pedestrianised Enric Granados, vibrant Casanova and upmarket Aribau – all of which are lined with charming cafes, outstanding restaurants and vibrant bars within a fifteen-minute walk.

Meet Cute

Located on the cusp of the Eixample neighbourhood, this apartment puts you in an excellent position to explore the city in style. It's right on the Ronda de la Universitat, a major thoroughfare in the city, but this sanctuary is pretty peaceful – thanks to it being on the inner side of the building, you get to enjoy the central location without the noise. We liked the splashes of mauve in the living room, as well as the use of natural materials. The kitchen is kitted out with basic seasonings and cooking ingredients, and there's a juicer and Nespresso machine to make mornings a delight. And the true standout feature of this home is the bedroom, with its impressive modern twist on a classic four-poster bed and painted brick wall. Step outside, and it's just a four-minute walk to the Plaça de Catalunya, and you can arrive at the labyrinthine Gothic Quarter in less than fifteen minutes. 

Cuboides

This apartment offers a central location in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter and a practical pad to call your own. Just a short stroll from Barcelona Cathedral, Plaza Catalunya and the various shops, restaurants and bars, you really couldn't be better placed for exploring the city. The home's bedrooms vary in size, with limited space so you'll want to pack light. That said, we think the modern design, which benefits from traditional Catalan touches, makes for a lovely home to come back to after a busy day of sightseeing. 

The Making of a City

You’ll struggle to find an apartment more central than this, sitting just off the Plaça Catalunya and a three-minute mosey to the leafy Las Ramblas. Its homespun living area and inviting bedrooms make for relaxing spaces away from the hubbub. Open up the French doors to be enveloped by a warm Spanish breeze as you tuck into a tasty breakfast. Throw something together in the kitchen or pick up a bite to eat from the café around the corner. Put on your sandals, slap on your sun cream and take to Barcelona’s historic streets. You’re minutes from the modernist sights of Eixample and just under twenty from the Picasso Museum. When it’s gloriously sunny out – which is practically all year round – Barceloneta Beach is a ten-minute cab ride away.

Violet Willow

Warm and welcoming, this apartment is ideal for a family or a group of friends wanting a relaxing base in Barcelona. It’s in the financial district of Les Corts, close to Camp Nou, with great transport links to the rest of the city – you can be in the Gothic Quarter in twenty minutes. The apartment is a fuss-free home-from-home, with clean lines and crisp white bedding. There’s a small balcony leading from the open-plan living and dining space – it's the perfect spot for a peaceful alfresco breakfast.

Bright Barcelona

Convenience is crucial for city breaks – you want to spend your time seeing the sights and soaking up the culture. This apartment is a wonderfully convenient base in Barcelona, close to parks, eateries, and shops, and with excellent transport links to the main attractions. It’s also a comfortable space to call home, equipped with a handy kitchen and a petite balcony where you can sip your morning coffee or enjoy a pre-dinner tipple. The decor is simple, with neutral tones that make it a calm, soothing home-from-home. 

Catalan Comfort

Serene and centred, this modern apartment places you in the heart of bustling Dreta de l’Eixample. Here, you'll be within easy walking distance of both Casa Milà and the Cathedral of Barcelona, with the tapas bars, authentic restaurants and stylish shops surrounding the Plaça de Catalunya, just a short stroll away. Inside, there's the addition of two desks for those wanting to catch up on work during their stay. The kitchen isn’t the biggest, but it has all you need to rustle up a tasty meal after a busy day – to be enjoyed out on the private terrace.
