You’ll have a beautiful view of Eixample, a neighbourhood full of Gaudi’s masterpieces – Casa Milà is just around the corner, a three-minute walk away, while Casa Batlló is eight minutes away. Plus, you can be at La Sagrada Familia, his unfinished masterpiece, in just seventeen minutes. Beyond the modernist architecture, you’ll find delicious tapas bars and boutique shopping. Back at home, a minimalist Scandi style works well to create a relaxing environment above the busy streets. Neutral colours and high-quality materials emphasize texture, but there are still a few details that remind us that we're situated in an old modernist building – such as the tempered glass above the sofa. Kick back and make use of the large TV and kitchen – after a day on your feet, it feels good to call this place home. 

The Walnut Azulejo

This lovely apartment situated in the heart of the historic Gràcia district is a perfect place for a family or a group of friends visiting Barcelona and hoping to make the most of all the city has to offer, while also enjoying the comfort and luxury of a stylish and centrally located pad. 

We love the lush, jungle-inspired aesthetic of this place, which deftly combines the traditional architectural elements with modern décor and unique pieces scattered throughout. Settle in for a cosy evening of Netflix and Spanish wine or gather around the dining table to enjoy a delicious supper you’ll be able to put together with ease in the well-equipped kitchen. 

Should you have some laptop duties to tend to during your stay, you’ll be delighted to find the cosy office space specially designed for remote work. Factor in the plush bedrooms and the sleek bathrooms, and the picture-perfect apartment is complete and waiting to welcome you.
 
Outside you’ll find yourself surrounded by awe-inspiring architecture, vibrant bars and cafes, art galleries and elegant boutiques, with the Sagrada Familia just a short walk away. 

Underneath My Architecture 

Known for its village-like atmosphere and charming streets, Gràcia is perfect for travellers looking to explore an authentic part of Barcelona. Dreamboat actually used to be a hostel, which explains why every bedroom has its own en-suite and cosy nooks. The building is beautiful, with features from the nineteenth-century, and a gorgeous terrace engulfed in greenery. The kitchen isn’t made for cooking (it’s lacking basic appliances like an oven and equipment), but why not use this as a chance to explore some of the local restaurants in the area? 

Dreamboat

Located on one of the main veins of Barcelona’s sprawling network of streets – Avinguda Diagonal – this apartment has an air of importance. The local area is home to Gaudí masterpieces such as Casa Milà, an eleven-minute walk away, and this striking flat certainly does its best to compete. Starting in the living space, the exposed brickwork of the vaulted ceiling is sure to catch your eye. Colourful, oversized, abstract art adorns the walls, and art-deco-style furniture invites you in to settle down. All of this is illuminated by natural light flooding in from the glass doors of your private terrace, our favourite part of the home. Sip a glass of wine next to the olive tree while you gaze out to views of modernist buildings and blue skies. If you head back down to ground level, check out the main thoroughfare to find an array of vibrant bars and restaurants where you can spend the evening. As the Diagonal metro stop is only a six-minute walk from home, you’ll be able to explore other areas of the city too. Did someone say ‘beach day’?

Manzanilla

Couples and solo travellers will be swept off their feet by this fabulous Barcelona apartment. Situated in the Gràcia neighbourhood, this stylish spot is the perfect place to call home during your stay in the city. 

Step inside, and you'll fall in love with the warm tones and welcoming ambience. From the wall hangings to the huge plants and intricate ceilings, there's plenty to feast your eyes on. Open a bottle of Rioja, pop on a record, and whip up your favourite dishes in the kitchen to share around the table. And, there's even a private balcony where you can gaze out at the world below as you sip a sundowner. 

The surrounding streets are packed with a diverse range of restaurants serving everything from vegan fare to Catalan classics. Architecture fans will be happy that Gaudi's Casa Milà is within walking distance, and the epic Sagrada Familia is a little further. And, when you want to explore the Gothic Quarter or spend a day at the beach, you can easily travel using the excellent public transport network.

Earth Day

With Gaudí masterpieces peeping around corners and lining elegant boulevards, Gràcia is one of the most striking neighbourhoods of Barcelona. Not only is the architecture second to none, but its vibrant atmosphere is sure to charm you. After a glass of Catalan wine in a trendy bar, take a stroll past Casa Milà en route back to your apartment, just twelve minutes away.

Despite urban surroundings, this home takes you on a journey back to nature. We love the use of wood, wicker, and woven elements throughout. The earthy tones and organic textures create a sense of calm, which you can enhance even further with some ambient tunes on the record player. While leafy, potted plants complete the natural look, the modern kitchen offers a sleek station for preparing a bowl of olives alongside ‘pa amb tomàquet’.

After nibbles on the balconette (or up on the residents’ roof terrace), step through to the bedroom. The arched feature wall makes the room feel more like a riad than a Barcelona flat, with wall lights and candles adding to the vibe. Well Versed

You’ll find this cosy abode in La Salut, part of Barcelona’s Gracia district. It’s an ideal base for a family or two couples, and the views across the city, stretching as far as the sea, are sure to be a hit with all. A short stroll from the apartment, you’ll find both Park Güell and Parc del Guinardó – so lush greenery and panoramic views are never far away. And, as an area that’s well-connected by public transport, when you’re ready to venture further afield, the metro is ready and waiting to whisk you away. 

Gothic Splendour

Survey chic cafés, boutiques and bodegas from this trendy loft apartment in untouristed Gràcia. Mix up a pitcher of sangria and flop into a bamboo lounger on the roof – moving is strictly optional on this vacation. If the heat gets too much though, retreat to you air-conditioned duplex where you’ll find expertly curated, high-end furniture to curl up on. The kitchen comes with a sleek marble worktop, cookware and coffee maker. Should you need to work from home, you’ll find an unfussy office upstairs. There’s also a second, smaller private terrace next to the master bedroom, ideal for your morning coffee.

La Pared

The lifeblood of Barcelona’s art and architecture runs through the region of Gràcia. These streets exude sophistication, peppered with Gaudí masterpieces for good measure. Just a ten-minute walk from the designer boutiques of Passeig de Gràcia, and a further two minutes down this stretch to Casa Milà, this apartment is made for city-dwellers with an eye for elegant aesthetics.

In this typically Catalan block, the studio has somewhat atypical Catalan interiors. Modern, Scandi-style furniture dominates the bright living space, where multiple French doors open along your extended balcony. We love the use of wooden floors alongside lush potted plants, bringing an organic side of the home to life. In contrast, industrial elements such as black metal lighting fixtures remind you of the metropolis below.

Take in the sounds of the city as you relax on the communal terrace, a glass of tempranillo in hand. Or if you fancy a change from urban melodies, stick a vinyl on the record player and sink into your sofa. And there’s even a third option. Head to the residents’ pool and let your mind float away to the gentle sounds of water. 

Sansevieria Leaf

In the vibrant Eixample district of Barcelona, just two minutes from the Diagonal metro, this apartment is a luxurious escape right in the heart of this bustling metropolis. As you step into the marble-clad, tiled corridor with stained glass windows, this elegant entrance already tells you a lot about this home. The beautiful tiles continue right into the flat, with original hydraulic mosaic flooring in grey, black, and a warming terracotta. While the furniture is understated throughout, it creates a very comfortable, minimalist vibe which is a pleasant contrast from the busy neighbourhood outside. You can peer out to this kingdom with ease, with not one but two private balconies to choose from. While either one is a perfect spot to enjoy a cold glass of vino blanco, we absolutely love the terrace with views of Gaudí’s Casa Milà – a truly iconic sight of Barcelona. Your private view of its striking, wavy rooftop is a real privilege of staying in this home. You even can visit it up close, just a three-minute walk away. Or continue on a tour of Antonio’s famous buildings with an eighteen-minute stroll to the awe-inspiring Sagrada Familia.

The Sand Azulejo

When home is only a three-minute walk from Casa Milà, you can be quite sure that you’re living in the heart of Barcelona’s buzzing Eixample district. But how about if you can see directly across to its ornate rooftops from your own private terrace? The exclusive location of this apartment is only made better by its magnificent design and decor. Upon arrival at the majestic wooden door, you can tell that this historical building is full of charm. With a vintage wooden lift taking you up to the attic – better known as a penthouse in the 21st century – we love its old-fashioned character. Inside, the wooden theme continues with a striking piece of art in the lounge, but this time surrounded by modern interiors. The furnishings are minimalist, with neutral tones and white walls bringing a fresh vibe. However, this is all to make way for the apartment’s most exciting features – two terracotta terraces for alfresco drinking, dining, and admiring jaw-dropping views. If you do manage to make it back down to street level, Diagonal metro is a two-minute walk. But when you can see Gaudí’s masterpieces from home, you might want to stay put.

The Mahogany Azulejo

You’ll find this attractive penthouse apartment in the heart of Barcelona. It’s a short walk from Cala Mila and there’s no shortage of bars and restaurants nearby. Fontana metro station is close too, so you can easily get around the city. The apartment itself is modern and sleek, a stylish base for four.
