This no-frills apartment is just 150 metres from the sandy shores of Benidorm's Playa de Levante. The location in the old town is fantastic – restaurants, shops, and bars are all steps away – though that does mean it can get a little noisy at night. Back home, there isn't any outdoor space, but the floor-to-ceiling windows act as an internal balcony, making it an excellent spot to savour a glass of wine and watch the world pass by. One guest will sleep on a sofa bed, and only the living area has air conditioning (the bedrooms have fans). That said, it does the trick for a central pad a short stroll from the beach.

Just 150 metres from Levante beach, this seventh-floor apartment is an ideal base for a seaside stay – don’t worry about climbing stairs though, the building has an elevator. At full occupancy, two guests will draw the short straw and be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room. This is at the expense of lounge space in what’s already a fairly cosy space, however, so the home may be better suited to four.

If you’ve always hoped to hear the ocean’s roar from your bedroom, this beachfront Benidorm home might be your new favourite location. Leading right onto the golden sands of Playa de Levante, stroll out onto the beach, where you can position yourself for a morning of Mediterranean sun and fresh air. 

Meander back to your apartment, grab a takeaway pizza at a local restaurant, and enjoy lunch at the dining table with the salty air breezing through the gaping doors. The views are lovely, and the sand is steps away, though the location does mean you can expect some outside noise. That said, parties and loud groups aren't allowed, so we think couples, friends, and families will settle right in. Your host can provide a cot and high chair for little ones, while the kitchen is more than equipped for whipping up large family meals. On-site parking is also available, but public transport is easily accessible for exploring all Benidorm has to offer.

When it comes to location, you can’t do much better than this Benidorm apartment. It’s right on the Golden Mile, just a short walk to Playa de Poniente – and this corner apartment boasts glorious sea views. Best of all, it’s housed in a swanky complex with plenty of amenities. In addition to the communal outdoor swimming pool, there’s an additional indoor pool on the 46th floor – the views are spectacular – along with a sauna, spa and fitness room. There are alfresco hot tubs on the roof terrace, too. With two guests on a sofa bed in the living area, it won’t suit everyone, but we think the location and wealth of amenities more than makes up for the lack of privacy.

If you’re looking to stay right on the Levante beachfront in Benidorm – this apartment is for you. We love the amazing views of the beach, bay, and mountains. There are sliding doors to a Juliet balcony, so you can feel the sun on your face and there's a sun shade if the Spanish heat gets too much. Sleeping five people, (one guest will be on a sofa bed in the living room) – there’s only one bathroom, so at full capacity, there could be a queue in the morning. But we can forgive this, as the location is great here – Playa de Levante is just 5 metres away and the nearest restaurant is under 50 metres from this home.

Enjoy the best of Benidorm from this bright and modern apartment. There's a chance you might hear some noise from other neighbours in the building during your stay, but you'll also have access to the shared tennis court and the communal pool during the summer. The private balcony offers lovely views of Levante beach and the Mediterranean sea, both right on your doorstep. A car isn't essential, but you might want one for exploring further afield. There are plenty of great spots within walking distance though, like local restaurants and bars, and the Aqualandia water park.

Marina Alta is a coastal region that can please just about everyone  – from history buffs to beach bums, and hikers to urbanites, this region of Spain isn’t just all about waterside delights. Just a ten-minute drive inland from the picturesque town of Altea (and don’t worry, you will pass beaches en route), you’ll love unwinding in this zen-like villa. 

Traditional whitewashed walls and a terracotta roof are right on par with what you might expect in the area. But as you step inside, passing interesting shrubbery and succulents outside, the vibe is altogether more modern. We love the fresh and bright living space, with a cherry-red sofa suite and an ornately carved, wooden cabinet. Oversized bamboo canes and a woven lampshade complete the look as you move to the sunroom – a striking cylindrical structure that really sets the architecture apart from rustic traditions.

From here, peer out to your secluded gardens. Lush, green, and shaded by palms, the immaculate lawn surrounds a private, heated pool. Wander around to find orange trees popping up in the grass, and terracotta tiles leading up a staircase to the roof terrace – it's much easier to survey your kingdom from up here.

It's plain to see that somebody with a real eye for design has worked their magic on this townhouse found in the coastal town of Calp. Everywhere you look inside, there are tasteful touches, from the dining table made from a repurposed door and the unashamedly bright colours on the walls to the sheer range of objets d'art dotted about the home.

We're also happy to say that there's plenty of substance behind this style. The sleek black kitchen not only looks the part, but it's also well-equipped for whipping up a feast. We're also fond of the terrace, which has views out over the rooftops and verdant hillsides beyond.

When you're ready to get to know the locale a little better, you'll be surprised at how much there is to see. All of three minutes' walk from the home is Torreó de la Peça, the centuries-old defensive walls built to protect the town from marauders. Arena-Bol beach is a ten-minute walk, while further along the coastline, it's possible to head up to the top of Penyal d'Ifac in just over an hour on foot for some incredible views.

Sitting in the heart of Altea's charming Old Town, this apartment will appeal to anyone in search of a relaxing coastal escape with plenty of outside space and far-reaching sea views. The rooftop terrace is the standout here, complete with a barbecue and an alfresco dining area, it's ideal for those looking to bask in the balmy summer evenings. Location-wise, you’ll find the beach is just a short walk away, while restaurants and shops are also within easy reach.

Sitting just 100 metres from Platja de l'Olla on the Costa Blanca, this apartment offers a comfortable coastal break with plenty of sun-soaking opportunities in store. A private lawn with a shaded patio is the highlight of the home itself, with access to the outdoors from the living area and main bedroom. While the decor isn’t the most exciting in our collection, the home nonetheless benefits from a communal pool area – as well as a children’s pool for little ones – and beautifully manicured gardens with sea views. You’ll also find bars and the promenade within 500 metres, Altea within 2 kilometres, not to mention plenty of outdoor activities on hand nearby, including hiking, cycling, kayaking, fishing, diving, snorkelling and waterskiing.


Fuchsia Feliz

This grand villa sits in an incredible position, just outside the shambling hilltop village of Finestrat. Dramatic views of forest-clad mountains run down to the ocean (it’s a 15-minute drive down to the sandy beach at Cala Finestrat). Surrounded by rambling gardens and grounds, this place is a secluded sanctuary. Two huge sun terraces and a huge, Roman-style swimming pool bask in the plentiful Costa Blanca sunshine. Balustraded terraces, arched porches, and stone-columned pergolas give a real sense of gravitas to the grounds. Inside, you’ll find plenty of space for your whole group to stretch out and enjoy your time together, with three different seating areas in front of TVs and fireplaces. Opulently furnished with a palette of deep reds and yellows, it feels welcoming and bright from the get-go. The living spaces are dressed head to toe in finery, with bold artworks dramatically lit and chandeliers. As evening falls the calm and quiet of the location really comes into its own. When dusk fades to night the stars begin to appear over the mountains and the distant lights of the coastal towns glitter along the horizon. This Grande Dame of a villa knows just what she’s doing.

Located just a short walk from the sandy beaches of Calpe and the coastal peak of Penyal d'Ifac Natural Park, this modern villa with views of the mountains provides a seamless mix of indoor and outdoor living. The home centres around the ample garden with its modern pool, alfresco diner, and external lounge that connects via sliding glass doors to the comfortable living room, making the perfect social space to enjoy sunny afternoons and evenings. Each of the bedrooms also features access to their own balcony or patio, adding an extra sense of privacy and luxury.

A Tip of the Calpe

Smack bang in the heart of delightful Dénia, this no-fuss apartment is perfect for couples or solo travellers looking for some rest and relaxation on the Costa Blanca. Inside, the place strikes a balance between comfort and function. There’s a compact kitchen equipped for quick meals and a quiet bedroom to ensure a peaceful sleep night after night. But it was the view that was our favourite part. We could’ve spent hours on that modular chair, watching the palm trees sway and the boats to and fro from the harbour, only breaking our gaze to open a bottle of Rioja as the sun sets. Spend mornings exploring your locale – you’re a ten-minute walk from the Dénia Castle and eighteen minutes from the Marineta Casiana Beach.
