The stunning Basozabal golf club is situated just outside the city (fourteen minutes away by car) and has epic views of the Basque countryside. Those with a car can explore the surrounding area or even visit the neighbouring city of Bilbao for a day trip with ease.

Wander along the beautiful promenade of the Urumea River to reach the Maria Cristina Bridge – a short three-minute walk away or walk three minutes in the opposite direction to visit the cathedral. In the evening, what could be better than dining alfresco here, and a private chef can even create you some delicious authentic Spanish tapas to enjoy with a glass of wine at the outdoor dining table on the veranda, with a view of the river as the sun sets. 

 Sol en el Río

Boquerones

This apartment is chic and well-thought-out, with a smart L-shaped couch giving you plenty of space to kick back and relax. The bright white kitchenette is well-equipped for you to make a morning coffee to enjoy on the balcony while a sea breeze ruffles your hair. Positioned in the ever-popular neighbourhood of Gros, you’re just a short walk from Zurriola Beach, colloquially known as Zurri. A favourite amongst young people and keen adventurists, this area is home to numerous cultural institutions and venues, while still being close to all the city’s major attractions. From the apartment, it’s just a ten-minute walk to the Old Town, where you’ll be blown away by the sheer number of outstanding pintxos bars and restaurants. In San Sebastian, it’s essential to be hungry at all times because the food is unlike anywhere else.

Txangurro

Down a characterful street in the Old Town, you’ll get the best of the city and the beach in this three-bedroom apartment. Decorated in understated luxe style, design lovers will feel instantly at home. There’s a little less natural light here than some of our other San Sebastian apartments, but the location more than makes up for it, and the cocktail-bar-esque styling is pitched perfectly for evening entertainment. Sink into the yellow rattan-and-velour armchair with a glass of Rioja and engage in conversation or watch a Spanish arthouse movie on the television. The dining table seats six for relaxed dinners with family and friends. Right outside the door, you’ll find labyrinthine streets home to some of the best restaurants in the world, a sweep of sandy beach and tree-lined trails leading panoramic views from the top of Monte Urgull.  

Nuevo Rey

This cleverly designed two-bedroom home is high on the seventh floor overlooking the golden sands of La Concha Beach. With contemporary furnishings, detail-oriented accent pieces and modern appliances, you'll always be glad to return home after an exciting day. And there's no such thing as a boring day in Donostia-San Sebastian; walk to La Concha Beach in just two minutes or cross over the Urumea River to explore the alternative scene in the neighbourhood of Gros. This is where you'll find the city's surfing beach and many of its cultural venues and institutions. When night falls, make the short walk north to the Old Town for mouth-watering pintxos and local wine. 

7th Heaven

Offering phenomenal panoramic views of the river and out to sea, this apartment is situated in one of San Sebastian's most affluent areas, adjacent to La Zurriola beach. Admire the breathtaking scenes while you sip your morning coffee on the sunny balcony. Start your day with a refreshing swim in the sea before soaking up the rays on the sandy beach. Whip up a tasty meal in the designer kitchen, or head across the bridge into Old Town for lunch, where you'll find a multitude of delicious independent eateries. Saunter up the steep hill to Mota Castle to see the city from above before heading to the marina and sailing away on a sightseeing cruise. You couldn’t get closer to San Sebastián’s crescent-shaped Playa de la Concha - it’s situated on an idyllic street just two minutes from the beach. Step out onto your Juliette balcony for luscious sea views or walk a few steps and you’ll be paddling the clear waters of the bay. 
 
As you walk into the open-plan space, you’ll immediately be struck by the dazzling amount of natural light pouring in through the french doors. We recommend a complete culinary tour – sample as many authentic savoury bites as you can – TX Klub for their wild mushroom rice studded with yuca, Xarma Cook & Culture for their version of salted cod stacked on a skewer, and Rita for creamy oysters and ox chorizo. The best part? This tour is a perfect loop around your neighbourhood and its total walking time is only one hour.

Perfectly satiated and with a cold cerveza in hand, make yourself comfortable on the plump sofa under the glow of the globe floor lamp - this is the best way to relax after a day of sightseeing. When you’re ready to wind down, sink into the sheets of the serene-hued bedroom for a restful night’s sleep – it’ll leave you feeling refreshed and ready for another day of city exploring.
