This villa is a twenty-minute walk from the centre of lively Corralejo so you’re not right in the thick of things – it’s better suited to those looking to relax and unwind. And you can certainly relax beside the pool – which is larger than most for a villa this size – on an array of comfy loungers. Inside there’s a mix of Canarian-style wood beams and bright splashes of colour – it’s homey and welcoming but not the most modern. We love the outside space, and Playa Vista Lobos is within easy reach.

You'll have plenty of opportunities to bask in the Canarian sunshine at this villa in Montaña Roja. Between the private pool (which can be heated for an added charge), indoor pool table and outdoor ping-pong table, dull moments are few and far between. Although the bathrooms are a little dated and some of the furniture is a tad traditional for our tastes, there's a good amount of space both inside and out for the whole family to feel comfortable. It's also in a very convenient location. A few restaurants, bars and shops are within walking distance, while Playa Blanca's expansive beach is a short drive away.

Roja Rising

This three-bedroom home’s enclosed garden and pretty pergola are charming. While the interiors are functional and fuss-free rather than overly fancy, this home is all about its outdoor offering, which includes a private pool, a brick-built barbecue and an alfresco dining area. Location-wise getting out and about is a breeze. When it’s time for dinner and drinks we suggest heading into Marina Rubicón, the heart of Playa Blanca, where you’ll find a variety of local gourmet restaurants and lounge bars.

This sleek villa is located in Los Mojones and shows off modern design at its finest. Prepare to be wowed by The property! Located within the Castillo del Aguila area of Playa Blanca, this breathtaking property is not to be missed.

We were blown away by the 18m pool, a glistening blue, and formed in a bubble shape. This pool really does capture your eye and is the ideal place for cooling off in the midday sun or splashing around with the kiddies. As an added bonus, the pool is heated free all year round. With sun loungers galore, you can enjoy days of endless sunbathing, as you top up your tan under the glistening sunshine. For that added spot of relaxation, there's a terrace hot tub boasting magnificent panoramic sea views across the Atlantic. Under the beam-covered terrace, you'll find cosy hammock chairs, rattan sofas, and a large dining table. For alfresco cooking, there's an outdoor kitchen, complete with a pizza oven, brick-built BBQ, oven, hob and fridge. Enjoy cooking up a feast alfresco style amongst friends and family. Serve up a traditional Paella or an array of Tapas for all to enjoy? For the big kids out there, there's even a pool table for your own entertainment.

Inside, the property is furnished to a high standard, with bohemian and chic style furniture and a high-end kitchen. The ground floor is where we find most of the rooms, including the comfy living room with smart TV and four spacious bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, with direct access to the patio terrace, and a large ensuite bathroom, with double vanity and a relaxing bathtub. There are a further three bedrooms on the ground floor, another ensuite and two twin bedrooms. All ground-floor bedrooms feature cool air conditioning. A spiral staircase leads down to the lower ground floor, here we find the last bedroom, with a ceiling fan and access to a private ensuite. There's also a second lounge on this floor, making it ideal for those wanting a little extra space on family holidays.

*Please note, the ground floor is on a split level and features a number of steps leading to some of the rooms.

El Amiga del Mar

Situated in the residential area of Faro Park, this home is 4 kilometres from the centre of Playa Blanca and just 400 metres from the seafront promenade. If you prefer to cool off in a swimming pool – there’s a private heated one here in the pretty garden with its palm trees and Canarian-style seating area. There are sea glimpses and mountain views from the balcony too. Inside, the villa is a bit dated in places, especially the kitchen, but that said, there’s plenty of space for family or friends to enjoy.

Volcanic Stone

The property is situated in an elevated location, offering extensive panoramic views of the resort and coastline. The spacious terrace and enclosed dining area are all decorated with glass to fully make the most of the surrounding vista! The villa is well presented with bright, airy, modern furniture and decorative touches. On entry, there is an open hallway leading to a spacious lounge diner with a high ceiling. Patio doors from here lead out to a glass-enclosed terrace with large sliding doors and an al-fresco style dining area. There are three bedrooms with large double beds and two bathrooms, one of which is en-suite. During the day, guests can relax on a sun lounger or take a dip in the glistening pool. In the evening, they can watch the sun set while cooking up delicious treats on the brick built BBQ. The resort centre is just a short drive away, offering a wide choice of bars and restaurants.

Nestled on Lanzarote's southern tip, this villa is perfect for a laid-back escape in Playa Blanca. Suitable for families, this home has two children’s rooms and an outside play area – sure to keep kids busy while you fit in a workout in the gym. A real highlight is the outside terrace, complete with plenty of seating for socialising and a large pool and separate hot tub for ultimate relaxation. When you’re ready to head out and about, three wonderful beaches with one backed by a restaurant-filled promenade can be reached within a fifteen-minute walk. While Timanfaya National Park is 20 kilometres away for a day out amongst Lanzarote’s spectacular volcanic landscape.

Zen On The Rocks

Ideal for families, this home even has a children’s room set up with a London bus-style bunk bed. While such features mean this villa probably won’t appeal to child-free groups, there’s a lot to talk about here. The gym and sauna are a nice addition to a home that already boasts a remarkable pool – it wraps around the villa and has a sunken hot tub at one end. There’s table tennis and a dining table that converts into a pool table, so you know it’ll be popular with big kids too.

Sun seekers rejoice – this coastal home in Lanzarote offers a multitude of outdoor spaces in which to soak up those rays. Although this home comprises a lower-ground as well as a ground floor, it still feels full of light, while its lounging terrace, daybed and sociable brick-built barbecue and alfresco dining areas, not to mention private pool, mean you’re bound to spend the majority of your time outside in any case. What’s more, situated on the outskirts of popular Playa Blanca you’re guaranteed an evening’s entertainment – buzzy bars, live music venues and seafront restaurants are only a 20-minute walk away.

A Moment of Calm

This Puerto del Carmen villa is situated a short drive from Old Town Harbour, waterfront eateries and sandy beaches. Inside may be traditional in style, but it doesn't lack space – and with all the bedrooms on the ground floor, it would work well for guests with limited mobility. On the lower level, a ping-pong table will keep kids entertained, while the beamed loft upstairs makes for a lovely reading nook. That said, it's the terrace that caught our attention. With its private pool, dappled dining area and comfy lounge chairs, it's no wonder you'll spend most of your time here outside, soaking up the Canarian sun.

The vast minimalist spaces of the home overlooking the mountains and seas are both relaxing and theatrical in terms of aesthetics. And while we cannot get enough of the sophisticated kitchen and Al Fresco dining by the pool, there's a whole lot going on right outside your door. That's just one of the perks of living in the former fishing village of Puerto del Carmen, brimming with restaurants and places to explore. Walk through the town, stopping at the many markets on the way till you reach the stunning Old Town Harbour. Settle in for a feast of tapas and delicious local wines. Once you're through, explore the many beaches around, some bustling and others introspective. If you ever tire yourself out, escape with a taxi boat to Puerto Calero Marina, and uncover a more upmarket take on the beach life.

Just a stone's throw from some of Lanzarote's most stunning beaches, this stylish villa offers a little slice of paradise in Playa Blanca. Boasting a wrap-around terrace with plenty of comfy spots to relax, spend your mornings sipping coffee on the patio or cooling off in the private pool. If you like to start your day with a workout, you needn't disrupt your routine here as there's a fully-equipped home gym for you to use whenever you like.

Once you're feeling energised and ready to take on the day, you've got Lanzarote's beautiful coastline to explore. If you want to stay close to home, the nearest beach is less than two kilometres away, but we highly recommend renting a car and heading to Papagayo. The white sandy coves and crystal clear waters make it with well worth the trip. 

When you get home from a day of exploring, winding down for the evening is easy when you're surrounded by a gorgeous garden. The outdoor kitchen is the perfect place to try cooking some local dishes on the barbecue or a delicious pizza in the pizza oven, followed by a few glasses of wine or even a cocktail prepared at the bar. End the night with a long bubble bath, or if you're looking for a little privacy, one of the bedrooms has its own terrace which is ideal for enjoying some peace and quiet.

The location of this villa is unbeatable. Restaurants, shops, and Puerto del Carmen's kilometre-long beach are less than a ten-minute walk away, so exploring on foot is a piece of cake. On the days you want to take it easy, swap a dip in the Atlantic for a swim in the private pool. There's also a sunny roof terrace, where you can perch with a glass of wine and admire distant ocean views. The fuss-free interiors won't be winning any awards for style, but they're comfortable nonetheless. We think it's a convenient option for families wanting to be close to the action.

The Palm Tower

While this orange-hued villa isn’t the most exciting home in our collection, we think the outside space, sea views, and setting make it worth a closer look. The pool and alfresco dining area are the high points here, and you can admire sea views from both. Golfers will love being just a stone’s throw from one of Fuerteventura’s best golf courses, Salinas de Antigua. The sandy beaches and plentiful restaurants of Caleta de Fuste are also just a ten-minute drive away. Inside, it’s unfussy – a good base for a sunny holiday where you’ll want to be outside as much as possible.

With a heated swimming pool and private terrace, this villa in Puerto Calero is a perfect place to relax and rejuvenate in the Canarian sun. We'd say the interior is pretty traditional – chances are, it won't be for everyone – but design aside, the single-level layout inside works well for families. Location-wise, it's a short drive to Puerto del Carmen, where waterfront restaurants and lively beaches await. For a getaway on the Lanzarote coast, it’ll do the trick.

Ivory Atlantis

Situated on Lanzarote's Playa Blanca resort, this villa places you close to beaches, restaurants and shops. A car isn't necessary, but you'll want to hire one if you're looking to explore more of the island, including the gorgeous Timanfaya National Park. With all rooms on a single level, this home is easily accessible with no need to climb stairs. The private pool can be heated at an additional cost, and the sun loungers and outdoor kitchen make this home great for relaxing and socialising.

And the location is excellent, too. Nestled between Arrieta and Arrecife, you're just a ten-minute drive from gorgeous beaches, lively bars and mouth-watering eateries. Keep the botanical vibe going with a visit to the world-famous Cactus Garden – a thirteen-minute walk – or head to Playa del Jablillo, driveable in fifteen minutes, for snorkelling in the crystal clear waters.

Back home, there's plenty to keep all your family and friends entertained, including an outdoor pool table, hot tub, and PlayStations (available to hire for a fee). Inside, the picture window in the open-plan living space looks out over an internal courtyard enclosed by a volcanic stone wall. It's also spread out across the ground floor, which we know parents and older guests will appreciate.

Probably the highlight for us, though, is the games room with its pool table, air hockey, cross trainer, and games console with accessories and games. One thing to note, there are two annexes here, which might suit members of the group who want more privacy –  they both have one bedroom and bathroom each with external access only.
