Gaudi might be famous for his work in Barcelona, but that hasn't stopped this home taking inspiration from the famous Catalan architect. A 200-year-old farmhouse has been turned into a slick, white-washed hangout. Modernist influences are seen in the rounded walls, arched doorways, and buckled pillars. The living room is far out, from the white pool and foosball tables to the huge semi-circular sofa. The master suite is the most impressive, sending out spaceship vibes with its round bed, droplet shaped fireplace and spacious curved bath. But not even the slinky interiors can compete with Mother Nature, as views over the hills and out to the sea abound from every angle. The garden has been planted with bougainvillea, which showers archways and dining tables with pink blossoms when it blooms. For special occasions, head to the home's club room, complete with a DJ hut and incredible sound system. Life will feel pretty amazing floating in the infinity pool or sipping cocktails on the terrace.

Eros & Aphrodite

Located in the heart of charming Begur, this stylish Spanish villa offers the perfect sanctuary within Costa Brava’s bustling town. Ideally placed for strolling into town for delicious lunches and designer shopping, you’ll quickly slip into the laid-back local lifestyle here. Vibrant Barcelona is also around a half an hour drive away and makes for an excellent day trip. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into ensuring Sunset Hideaway has a sociable vibe. You’ll find large living spaces across two floors, making this a great spot for two groups of families looking for the occasional downtime. We loved the contemporary windows that flood the interiors with natural light, providing a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living. Its stone-walled garden is in keeping with the home’s traditional charm and offers a lovely backdrop to the sunsets over the Pyrenees each night. 

Sunset Hideaway

Say hello to one very swanky cube. Just a ten-minute drive from Lloret de Mar with its world-class beaches and electric nightlife, this home offers you peace and tranquillity while still being close to the action. Inside, you’ll find wooden floors, cool, contemporary furnishings and vibrant pops of colour that brilliantly offset the whitewashed walls. The real wow factor is the living space’s wrap-around floor-to-ceiling windows though – take in views over Canyelles’ shimmering bay from your sofa, or better yet, head to the upstairs terrace to enjoy breakfast while feasting on the vistas. Afternoons call for lazing by the pool and soaking up the sun on one of the many loungers, while the little ones will love the play area and the dedicated children’s bedroom full of soft toys. Drive less than ten minutes to sandy Platja de Canyelles to dip your toes in the sea before coming back home for a soak in the sunken tub followed by a barbecue feast. When it’s time to turn in, watch the moon rise over the hills from the bedroom’s letterbox windows or private terraces before falling into a wonderfully peaceful night’s sleep.

El Cubo

A vision of relaxation just outside Sant Feliu de Guixols on the Costa Brava, this villa invites you to enjoy a treacly pace of life and make the most out of the dazzling Spanish sun. 

Laid out over three floors, there’s plenty of space to socialise altogether, while the downstairs TV room, separate living area and comfortable bedrooms allow for quiet moments to steal for yourself. We love the contemporary, pared-back decor that feels effortlessly stylish against the bright white walls and tiled floors, while ample natural light fills the home thanks to the large windows and beautiful outdoor spaces. As well as the covered balcony upstairs, you’ve also got a stunning patio garden replete with outdoor seating, a barbecue and a shimmering private pool. Whether you’re taking cool dips in its waters, catching some rays on the loungers or sipping sundowners around the table, you’ll love making the most out of this sun-drenched space. 

While you could easily while away whole days in your home, take some time to explore the nearby sights. You’re a seventeen-minute walk from sandy Playa de Sant Feliu, a four-minute stroll from the Les Penyes observation deck, while bustling Girona is just under forty minutes away by car. 


Shimmering Blue

Standing in the heart of the Les Gavarres Natural Park, this former farmstead sits amidst oak forests and idyllic nature. Renovated using local materials, the home's rustic charm makes a fantastic backdrop to a family reunion, while the private garden offers stunning landscape views. While the pool is shared with the owners, it's still a great addition – set in the large garden and surrounded by trees, you'll feel the seclusion here. When you start to miss civilization, though, you're just 15 minutes from La Bisbal d'Empordà, a town with shops and eateries, and close to some of Costa Brava's most beautiful beaches.

Spanish Sunbeam

This lovely apartment features an eye-catching rocky garden that frames impeccable views of Costa Brava. The home sits on the edge of a cliff between Girona and Barcelona – a quiet and calming spot, with plenty of sun reaching you. Put up the umbrella for shade during lazy outdoor lunches while taking in the vista of the water.  Inside, it's simple and charming, with works of art adorning the living room wall and colourful cushions on the sofa. When you're in the mood for exploring, head down to Mar Menuda Beach, a short walk from your front door, or hit the road to explore the centre of nearby Tossa de Mar, appreciating the imposing city walls.

The Rolling Stones

Renovated to feel luxurious and modern, this beautiful villa was originally built in the 1940s and it has the patchwork stone facade to show for it. Although imposing from a distance, the interior radiates comfort and homeliness to make your break as cosy as possible, but not without a little dash of pizazz. Wander across three floors to find your favourite spot in this home – we can guarantee for some it will be in the games room where you can pass hours playing billiards, whereas other may take most favourably to the minibar and dancefloor. 

As fun as it is indoors, the outdoor area has even more to offer. Splash in the pool or challenge each other to a game of tennis, but don’t forget to unwind on the sunloungers as you kick back with an ice-cold drink and good book. 

Light the barbecue for lunch and make use of the sprawling terrace to socialise with wine, nibbles and good conversation. For a bit of alone-time, you can take to one of the swing chairs to admire the view, or stretch yourself all the way out on one of the hammocks to have an afternoon nap in the shade of the trees. 

Costa Brava has an arresting Mediterranean coastline and we encourage you to explore it. Start by taking a twenty-five-minute walk to the soft sand of Llafranc beach. When you’re not enjoying alfresco meals at home, you might stroll to find some choice restaurants not even ten minutes away.

Casa Bello

Located in a small, quiet village, this stone-clad house has lots of rustic charm. We loved the well-kept garden, peaceful patio and distant views of the Pyrenees – it’s easy to adopt a laidback, Mediterranean lifestyle here. To ensure a memorable stay, your host can help arrange a variety of additional services and experiences, including hiring an in-house chef to cook for you and arranging an at-home yoga session or massage. And when you’re ready to explore, the historic town of Torroella de Montgri, with its narrow streets and impressive castle, and the former fishing village of L’Escala, famous for its anchovies, are just a short drive away.


Fig Tree Retreat

Nestled in the coastal village of Calella de Palafrugell, a scenic walk from the golden sands of El Golfet beach, this villa promises an exceptional stay – especially since you'll have a House Manager and housekeeping team looking after you. Inside, the bedrooms all have their own en-suites and dressing rooms (spread over three floors), plus there's a lift down to the basement where you'll find an independent suite and a professional cinema. Yes, the cinema is impressive, but we expect you'll spend most of your time here outdoors, where there's plenty of space for swimming and soaking up the sun. And just look at that view – it speaks for itself. 

Sea House

Even before entering the house, we fell under the spell of its surroundings – the glistening pool, the stunning views, the huge garden, and the outdoor dining area, inviting you to plan those magical alfresco feasts that go on long into the warm, Spanish nights. You’ll enjoy absolute privacy and tranquillity here, the perfect setting to catch up on your holiday reads and relax in one of the many sun loungers dotted about. 

Come inside and be prepared for a beautiful treat – what the home’s façade promises with its old-world glamour, the interior more than delivers. We love the stone and wood details, the unique art pieces and furnishings, and the cosy, inviting ambience. There is more than enough space to snuggle up and enjoy a movie night or an afternoon of wine and conversation, with an ornamental fireplace to add to that homely feel. 

The bedrooms, situated upstairs, are another highlight: with plush, comfy beds, timelessly stylish furnishings, and beautiful wooden floors, you’re guaranteed a restful sleep. 

Whenever you feel like exploring, there is an abundance of activities to be enjoyed in the area – from cycling and horse riding, to exploring the charming town of Calonge and the stunning beaches of the Costa Brava, just five and ten minutes away by car respectively.


Barefoot Contessa

Located on the coastal path between Llafranc and Calella de Palafrugell, this property is in one of the most beautiful areas of the Costa Brava. The sea views are expansive and lovely, and there is a small jetty on the lowest level of the home that grants access to Llafranc beach. You might hear some noise from neighbours due to the close-knit manner of the area's buildings, but you're within walking distance of several Llafranc restaurants, and it's easy to enjoy an authentic Spanish stay from this charming home.

A Golden Rose

The sleek, contemporary design of this villa in Tamariu is effortlessly stylish. Floor-to-ceiling windows and glass walls on the lowest floor mean it's filled with light throughout the day, and a real highlight will be waking up to the panoramic sea views from two of the double bedrooms. Step out onto the balcony to enjoy a morning coffee overlooking the water, before a leisurely breakfast on the terrace below. And why not prepare a barbecue for lunch, dining al fresco on the oak wood table, or wander into Tamariu for a lunch of fresh seafood overlooking the beach.
