When you’re ready to explore, you’ll find the Royal Botanic Gardens and El Retiro Park within easy reach, perfect for a sunny stroll, along with a plethora of museums. 

Golden Madrid

Set within the heart of Madrid, this apartment is an ideal base for those looking to drop off their suitcases and head out to explore. It's a studio, so space is limited. We think it's best for couples or solo travellers, though a sofa bed could sleep an additional guest if needed. Locally, indulge in some tasty tapas, soak up some culture at the Prado Museum, or head to Plaza Mayor or Puerta del Sol for a true taste of Madrid. 

Sunflower's Embrace

There's a reason Salamanca is one of Madrid's most sought-after neighbourhoods. With its gourmet eateries, world-renowned museums and luxury boutiques lining the Golden Mile, the area offers something for everyone. Just on the cusp of this swanky postcode is this apartment. The size is ideal for couples and solo travellers, but the option of a single sofa bed keeps sleeping arrangements flexible. Netflix and a Playstation have rainy days covered, and although it's not the most exciting home, we like the design – particularly the colourful wallpaper in the bedroom.

We love the contemporary light-filled living space, and there’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out here. But the cherry on the cake? It has to be the private terrace. A sun-kissed spot to sip sangria and gaze out across the city – what’s not to love? And when the vistas draw you out to explore, this home’s proximity to Atocha, Delicias, and Palos de la Frontera metro stations makes sightseeing a breeze. 

Madrid Glow

Situated in the lively central quarter of Atocha, this handsome apartment is just fifteen minutes by public transport to Madrid’s main attractions and close to the so-called Art Triangle. The large French windows bathe the whole living space in natural light, and there are two inter-connected living areas, so everyone has space to relax in style. The interior design is modern yet classic – you'll love the ornamental fireplace, patterned rug, and carefully considered pops of colour. The kitchen is kitted out with everything you need to whip up some of your favourite Spanish dishes, and there's even a little balcony where you can enjoy a morning coffee or evening sundowner in the fresh air.

Naturally, the living space features two huge glass doors leading you to a private balcony facing on to the celebrated square. A cushy white sofa and dining chairs around a glass table bring a futuristic feel, while pink orchids contrast with an organic edge.

El Retiro Park is less than five minutes away on foot, there are galleries nearby, and a Metro station is just along the road. Housed in a stately building in a classic Madridian style, the apartment is stylish and sophisticated. High ceilings and large windows make it a relaxing space to return to after seeing the sights of the busy city.

Perfect for two friends or two couples sharing, this pocket-sized pad makes an ideal base for exploring Madrid's cultural hotspots. It's situated near the Triangle of the Art, within walking distance of countless museums, theatres, and performing arts centres. Easy access to Delicias metro stop and Atocha Station makes zipping to and from the centre a breeze – just be sure to pack earplugs, since you'll be right in the hustle and bustle here.

Don Julio

Museum lovers will be in their element at this stylish abode in Madrid's Golden Triangle of Art. The Prado Museum, Reina Sofía Art Centre and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum are all within a fifteen-minute walk, and the famed El Retiro Park is just steps from your front door. If you're not sold by the unbeatable location, maybe the home's chic interior design and cosy ambience will entice you.

Every inch of this apartment exudes good taste, from the herringbone floors to the sleek subway-tiled kitchen. Though on the smaller side, you'll find everything need to prepare light Spanish-influenced meals – which you can enjoy at the nifty four-person dining table. After an evening on the town, get comfortable in front of the plasma TV, a throw on your lap and a glass of sangria in hand. 

Retiro Abode

Twenty minutes on foot from Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, and El Retiro Park, this apartment is well-placed to explore. Many shops, restaurants, and metro stations are nearby, as well as some of Madrid's most famous markets. When you're not sightseeing, this central home is practical and comfortable. We love the exposed brick and stone walls, though it does mean it's a little dark. The kitchen is the ideal size to rustle up lighter fare, but we suspect you'd prefer dining out.
