This bright and welcoming apartment is a comfortable and quiet oasis in the heart of Lavapiés, one of Madrid’s best-loved neighbourhoods. From this convenient base, you’re within easy reach of designer shops, bars, markets and theatres, in addition to some of the city’s most popular tourist spots – Plaza Mayor is only a fifteen-minute walk. Lavapiés metro station is also a short walk away. Ideal for those working during their stay, there are two desks at this home. 


My Way

Set within one of Madrid's coolest areas, Lavapiés, this home has a great address. You'll be within walking distance of some fantastic cultural attractions, such as La Casa Encendida. And you'll be able to pick up some craft beer, cheese and other goodies from the nearby San Fernando Market. Take some ingredients back and rustle up some tapas in the modern kitchen. The first thing that strikes you with this home is its lofty ceilings. Up the staircase, you'll find the mezzanine bedroom, which overlooks the living space. This place would suit couples, a family or business professionals.

Madrid's Loft Oasis

Get to experience all that Madrid has in store with a stay at this stylish and modern ground-floor apartment, situated right in the vibrant heart of the old town. This home is an ideal base for a family or an intimate group of friends wanting to make the most of the central location while at the same time enjoying the comforts of their luxurious urban retreat. 

Step through the front door to be greeted by a cosy and light-filled living room with striking wallpaper patterns and elegant furnishings. You’ll want to kick off your shoes straight away and lounge on the plush sofa which invites you to spend long evenings of wine and conversation with your loved ones. 

You’ll be able to share delicious meals with your whole party at the dining table and the well-equipped kitchen will make rustling them up a work of moments. There’s also a private internal patio, with lovely plants, which offers streams of gently filtered daylight to flood the apartment. 

Factor in the luxurious bedrooms and sparkling modern bathroom and you’ve got all you need for a perfectly restful urban stay. Outside your front door, you’ll find yourself in a prime spot from which to explore, with world-famous museums, iconic landmarks and excellent restaurants and bars all on your doorstep. 

Wallpaper Dreams 

Seeking a central spot in Madrid? This intimate studio apartment is situated in the heart of Lavapiés, perfect for those travelling for business or pleasure. In this no-frills home, some guests may find the kitchen's original support beam a bit awkward to navigate, and the lack of air conditioning tricky in the hotter months. But the location wins us over, as you'll discover the Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol a few metres away, plus bars and restaurants dotted about.

A Renaissance

Situated in the lively central quarter of Atocha, this handsome apartment is just fifteen minutes by public transport to Madrid’s main attractions and close to the so-called Art Triangle. Recently renovated, the home has been transformed into a designer space with stylish décor, light tones, splashes of colour and modern art on the walls. But there’s nothing pretentious about it all. The space is just wonderfully inviting and comfortable. Over a coffee and pastry in the kitchen, plan your day’s agenda or spend a lazy morning relaxing on the huge, living room sofa instead. Come afternoon, art-lovers can meander through the nearby galleries, while foodies will want to spoil themselves in the local bars and restaurants. Afterwards, the pretty El Retiro Park is the perfect spot for catching your breath before heading back home. There’s a well-designed kitchen at your disposal so you can whip up a tasty meal before sinking into your effortlessly neat bed. But if you’re in the mood for further entertainment, you’re well-placed to enjoy Madrid’s famously noisy nightlife.     

Painted Dreams

The most remarkable thing about Espinas is the quiet. Despite having three balconies, and being in the middle of Lavapiés, the street it looks onto is actually fairly calm. The building is old, and a lot of the original structure features prominently in the flat, which has been designed to complement the space, rather than dominate it. There is some pretty loud wallpaper though, which stops the design from falling into the dreaded ‘neutral’ category.


Espinas

This minimalist home's most prominent feature is the heavy use of drapes. You'll see them separating the master bedroom from the living room, the workspace, and the kitchen has its own stylish set too. True, there is more of a hotel vibe here, but at the same time, this is a sleek, well-designed and super comfortable home — not to mention the excellent traffic links to the rest of Spain via Atocha station. 

The Baldachine

This home is far from a pristine condition, but we're sure you can spot the wear and tear from the photos. The exposed wooden beams and the older-looking elements help create a special kind of charm that's hard to find in Madrid these days. The Open Library might also have one of the finest kitchens we've seen, equipped with enough dishes space to cook for a small army. The fact that it's also located within walking distance from the Prado and Puerta del sol makes this home a great, relaxed stay. 

The Open Library

Presenting an abundance of natural light, the serene ambience here invites guests to switch off, unwind and recharge – despite the apartment's central location in Madrid. We love the soothing colour scheme of vanilla and macadamia hues in the main living space. After a day of sightseeing, shopping and sampling the local tapas delights, there's nowhere better to kick back and relax. 

And with space to cook and serve up your own aperitifs and meals, you'll have the option of eating out or rustling up your own delicious treats when staying here. Following fun-filled days out exploring the city – where better to soak the day away than the bathtub? Bliss. Located in the Sol neighbourhood, you'll be positioned steps away from the sought-after monuments and attractions and an abundance of stylish boutiques and dining opportunities to discover. 



Vanilla & Macadamia 

Nestled in the heart of Madrid, this home puts you within walking distance of the city's most celebrated monuments and cultural hotspots, including the bustling Plaza Mayor and the iconic Madrid Palace, as well as a collection of art galleries and museums. Best of all, the apartment itself is quiet and comforting, so you don't have to make any compromises. We love the blend of rustic charm and modern design, while the open living space encourages socialising and entertaining. 

Spanish Stroll

Housed in a building that was once home to 18th-century writer and philosopher Gaspar Melchor de Jovellanos, this beautifully curated apartment blends history and modern comforts in dazzling style. 
 
Featuring sparkling white walls decked with mirrors and earthy-toned artworks, there’s a feeling of bohemian chic in the carefully chosen ornaments that bring together the home’s minimalist aesthetic to great effect. Make yourself comfortable on the inviting sofa with a glass of Spanish wine or gather around the dining table for an at-home tapas feast when you’re not out sampling La Latina’s renowned restaurant and bar scenes.

When it comes to sightseeing, your La Latina neighbourhood offers a maze of narrow lanes filled with tapas bars and cantinas to discover, while bargain hunters won’t want to miss the El Rastro flea market held each Sunday, a ten-minute walk away. Elsewhere, bustling Plaza Mayor is a nine-minute walk, the Royal Palace of Madrid is a fifteen-minute stroll and the world-famous Museo Nacional del Prado is eighteen minutes away on foot.
