Hear the name Soho and you'll probably think of New York or London, but a stay in this incredible apartment in the SoHo neighbourhood of Málaga and you'll forever associate it with the Andalusian city.

As you walk in through the front door, we guarantee the first thing that will grab your attention are the stunning views out through the floor-to-ceiling windows that take up one corner of the living space. It's a wonderful panorama, taking in everything from the Mediterranean Sea and Malagan rooftops to the region's hilltops in the distance. 

With eye-catching scenery such as this outside, the designer behind this apartment might have been tempted to phone it in with the interior, but you can tell that clearly didn't happen. The open-concept layout not only allows the bountiful amounts of natural light to reach every corner, but it feels innately sociable. For one, romantic dinners could be had by candlelight as the stars come alive up above. The balcony also makes for a great reading spot for bookworms wanting to spend some time on their own with a freshly brewed coffee and a holiday romance novel.

Soak up gorgeous views from the roof of Málaga Cathedral, put your art appraising skills to the test at the Picasso Museum, or sit back and relax at Malagueta Beach. Whatever your day has in store, this place has got you covered. 

When you’ve had your fill of being out and about, you’ll come home to a stunning apartment steeped in Malagan charm. This practical apartment is located in the heart of Malaga's historic centre, just a stone's throw away from tourist hotspots such as Calle Larios, Plaza de la Constitución, and the Picasso and Thyssen Museums. While it’s not the most characterful pad in our collection, a sofa bed in the living area offers flexible sleeping arrangements, and the Juliet balcony in the main bedroom is a nice touch too. The kitchenette is a little basic for our liking, but given the home’s stellar spot, you’ll find plenty of restaurants, bars and shops nearby, offering a true taste of Malagan living.

Relax in the sun with a glass of Cava on this home’s beautiful terrace with views of Málaga Cathedral – it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a chilled gazpacho as the sun sets. Inside, the apartment is designed in classic Spanish style blended with Scandinavian furniture. We love the stunning beamed, vaulted ceilings, chandeliers and exposed stone walls. The main bedroom’s sliding doors offer more of those lovely cathedral vistas and open onto the balcony.

With a fantastic location in central Málaga, the cathedral is a mere three-minute stroll, while the Plaza de la Constitucion is two minutes on foot. Or culture lovers can head to the Picasso Museum, a four-minute amble. For a day on the nearby golden sands, La Malagueta and La Caleta Beach are around a fifteen-minute walk.

Ideally situated in the heart of Malaga, this chic apartment is a great choice for those wanting to be in the thick of things. It’s just a short stroll from Malaga’s top sights, including the cathedral. You’ll also have your pick when it comes to restaurants and bars. The apartment itself is bright and modern, a comfortable home-from-home. At maximum occupancy, two guests will be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room – if you’re hoping for more space for socialising, we recommend sticking to a guest count of four.

Step outside and soak up the neighbourhood energy before setting off for a day of gallery hopping – our picks are Centre Pompidou Málaga and Museum Jorge Rando for their contemporary, Expressionist and Cubist artworks. Though this home is located in Málaga’s historic centre, there’s nothing old-fashioned about this beautifully styled apartment. Modern, bright and distinctly chic with its contemporary decor and open-plan living area, this space is the perfect summation of laid-back Spanish living. We love how much light pours in from the large skylights that give way to views of Málaga Cathedral. Cosy up on the sofa with a glass of wine and gaze up at the stunning architecture dazzling before you. 

The two bedrooms, meanwhile, ate just as stylish with their bold pops of colour and comfortable beds. Factor in the pair of luxurious bathrooms, and you’ve got everything you need for a relaxing, carefree stay in the city. 

When it comes to sightseeing nearby, you’ve got plenty from which to choose. Visit the cathedral up close (200 metres away), tour the Alcazaba de Málaga (280 metres away) and sink your toes in the sand at Playa de la Malagueta (1.9 kilometres from your door).
