With loads of space across four levels, it’s easy to find a shady terrace to catch up on holiday reading, or a sociable area for sharing sundowners. There’s even a sandy petanque court and ping pong. If the views tempt you away from home, head to Port d' Andratx where the harbour and a range of authentic eateries await.

Laidback furnishings and natural tones are the hallmarks of this homely villa. Located in a traditional neighbourhood, the traditional house is just a ten-minute drive from the ancient town of Andratx – holidaymakers seeking a quiet island escape need look no further. 

While the rustic living room and bright kitchen are comfortable and inviting, we think you’ll be spending most of your time outside on the patio. Plate up Spanish classics at the alfresco dining table as the barbecue sizzles with local produce. Catch some shade under the parasol or position your chair in a sun-drenched spot.

There are also regular ferry trips to the protected natural park of Dragonera, where you can arrange to go diving or hiking on the breathtaking Dragonera Island.

It’s just outside of Puerto de Andratx, so the shops, cafes and restaurants of the town are a short drive away, but it feels like a real escape. We love the stylish decor here. Each room is chic and attractive, with windows that flood the space with sunshine. The prominence of windows also means that the glorious coastal views become part of the decor – from waking up to drifting off to sleep, you can look forward to wonderful sea views and clear skies. 

Of course, with such beautiful vistas outside, you’ll probably want to spend as much time as possible in the fresh air. Soak up the sun on a lounger, and slip into the private swimming pool to cool off when the sun is at its most sizzling. Doze in the shade on the terrace, read books, or simply drink in the views while feeling the warmth of the sun on your skin.

Perched on a cliff just outside of Port Adriano, this impressive home has to be seen to be believed. Boasting an infinity pool, floor-to-ceiling windows, and every amenity you could ask for, this home makes holidays to Mallorca extra special. 

The double bedrooms look out to sea, so you can wake up to the soothing sight of bobbing waves and yachts passing by. This home has been designed to make the most of the superlative views afforded by the cliff-top setting, so you can expect lots of glass – the turquoise of the sea becomes part of the colour palette. 

The villa is just a five-minute drive from Port Adriano, where you’ll find shops and restaurants, and the port, of course. From here you can set sail on a boat tour of the coast or, if you prefer to keep your feet on dry land, simply sip coffee as you watch the boats pull in. A day trip to Palma might also be on the cards – it’s thirty-five minutes away. There you can stroll the historic streets, dine in top-notch restaurants and explore galleries and museums – it’s well worth the journey. 

After a day spent seeing the sights, head back to the villa to swim in the infinity pool or lounge in a day bed. The small indoor pool proves tempting in the evening when you can see the stars through sliding glass doors. There’s also a telescope set up in the living room for keen stargazers.

One glance at the harbour views and you'll see why this former fisherman's cottage caught our eye. It's in the heart of Port d'Andratx, with a sweeping terrace that overlooks the sea. The scenery is unbeatable whether you're enjoying an alfresco breakfast or panoramic sundowners. There's even an ice cream shop downstairs for a mid-afternoon treat. We think the interiors are a touch traditional, but the apartment offers all the essential amenities. Just keep in mind that it can be a little noisy, as it's smack-dab in the centre of town.

Perched on the coast, right behind the charming San Telmo beach and looking out toward Dragonera island, this villa exudes luxury. We particularly loved the bright and breezy living room with its open fire and the book-lined library on the first floor. Mallorca is known for its spectacular scenery, so as tempting as it may be to stay put, you'd be missing out if you didn't explore a little further. The unusual flat rock beach and trendy Gran Folies Beach Club are within walking distance, while nearby Port d'Andratx is lined with luxury yachts and some of the finest seafood establishments in the Med. Alternatively, head to the island's cosmopolitan capital of Palma and explore its atmospheric old town on foot.

This is the sort of spectacular home that is certain to draw gasps as you wander around for the first time. The view of Port D'Andratx and the Mediterranean Sea from the hillsides position is impressive enough but the beautiful design and wealth of amenities only add to this splendour.

Only finished in 2021, the interior is as contemporary as they come, with a chef-standard kitchen, a chic collection of furnishings and inbuilt technology to control everything from temperature, lighting and entertainment from touchscreens. Head down to the lower level of the home and you'll find both a wine cellar and a spa area, complete with a Jacuzzi, sauna and massage foot basin.

Of course, given the glorious Mallorcan climate, you will probably want to spend as much time outdoors as possible and that's more than doable at the address thanks to a swimming pool from which you get perhaps the best views from anywhere on the site. That being said, the vista is no less impressive from the outdoor kitchen or the terrace. 

When you fancy a change of scenery at any point — if indeed you do — the seafront restaurants of Port D'Andratx take just over five minutes to reach in the car and Cala Blanca sits double that amount of time away for when you fancy a day at the beach.

If you fancy some sun, sea, and sand, then gather up your favourite people for a fabulous trip to the island of Mallorca. With a range of excellent amenities and plenty of space to relax, there's something for everyone here. 

Guests of all ages will feel right at home in this bright and airy house. If you want to hide from the heat, then make yourself comfortable in the living room with a good book, or stretch out on a lounger under the shade of a parasol. The sparkling swimming pool is the perfect place to take. refreshing dip, while the outdoor bar area has a snooker table so you can challenge your guests to a tournament. Kids can run wild in the pirate-themed play area, and when they've worked up an appetite it's time to fire up the barbeque and eat together at the outdoor dining area. 

From here, you can wander down to Portals Nous Beach within just seven minutes to paddle in the clear waters and kick back on the sand to soak up some rays. Portals Nous itself also has a range of seafood restaurants and chic bars along the marina, where you can sip a glass of wine and watch the boats bobbing in the water. And, if you fancy a day trip to the historic city of Palma, you can drive over to visit the cathedral and fortress within fifteen minutes.

Within walking distance of two sandy beaches, we found this villa to be a sun lover's paradise – we're suckers for a home with a sea view. Ideal for both families or a group of friends, the private pool lets you spend time together privately as a group. And if the sun gets too much, there's plenty of space indoors to relax, while the pergola is perfect for shaded alfresco dining. If you decide to explore, you'll find both Port Adriano and Port Andratx close by.

When you think of Mallorca, you might not think of mountains – but the Serra de Tramuntana is a range that forms the backbone of the island. It's here, in a secluded spot surrounded by a forest of oak trees, that you'll find this handsome villa. It has been recently renovated, but still retains the rustic finca spirit, which you'll find reflected in the archways and wooden beams. 

The inside is perfectly polished, with a smart marble kitchen and impressive spiral staircase along with plenty of artistic touches. However it's the outside space that will really take your breath away. Soak up the sun on one of the terraces, before plunging into the sparkling swimming pool to cool off, as you admire the views across the hills. 

It's the perfect hideaway but it’s easy enough to go exploring if you fancy it. You can walk into Galilea in five minutes – it’s a sleepy little village with heaps of charm and a couple of bars and restaurants. If you want to experience Mallorca as the locals do, this is a great place to start. For more action, hop in the car and discover mountain villages and secret coves, or head off on bikes with a picnic. This is a great part of Mallorca for trekking, climbing and cycling. The beach at Cala Fornells is a thirty-two-minute drive, and you can be in Palma in thirty-nine minutes.
