If your perfect day involves mostly basking in the sun, this Menorcan single-level home is more than willing to accommodate it. Sun loungers surround the crystalline private pool, and the covered terrace is ideal for alfresco meals. Though the style might not be everyone's cup of tea, it's comfortable and just down the road from a cafe and bar, with a hidden cove only a short walk away. San Climente, only a few minutes by car, has markets, bars and bakeries aplenty, making the location a standout aspect of this house.

Binibeca Bliss

Days here are structured around sun and sea – you'll move between a private pool terrace lined with sun loungers and a shaded garden made for long, unhurried afternoons. When evening arrives, the rooftop terrace comes into its own, with views stretching out to sea and, later, a sky full of stars. Inside, the living room opens directly onto the pool, so the boundary between indoors and out stays blissfully vague. The whitewashed fishermen's village of Binibèquer Vell is a thirty-two-minute walk away, while the crystalline coves of Menorca's southern coast are even closer to hand.

Whitewash & Starlight

This luxurious villa is the perfect place to relax and enjoy your holiday in Mallorca. With its private swimming pool, direct access to the sea and stunning views, this home has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The villa is located in the peaceful area of Betlem, just a short drive from Colonia de Sant Pere. Betlem is the model of gentle tourism, with a blissfully slow pace of life, this section of the Bay of Alcúdia is characterised by often deserted sandy beaches. Nature-lovers will find a variety of options for lengthy hikes. Cap Farrutx should definitely not be left off your list of places to go.

Betlem Beauty

A stone's throw from cultural landmarks including the Torralba d'en Salort archeological museum, this 17th-century finca offers an insight into Menorcan history. Beyond the whitewashed walls and green shutters, this home's stand-out features are the pool terrace and flower-wrapped pergola, promising views across the meadows. Don't fancy an alfresco barbecue? Alaior's restaurants, bars, and shops await, just 3.2 kilometres away. What's more, the small beach at Cales Coves is a short drive from here – so we recommend hiring a car.

Just a Little Lesson

Situated in the sought-after Sa Punta area of Portocolom, this villa has a private pool surrounded by pine trees, as well as countryside and sea views. Relax in a hammock with a book or dine in the shade of the covered terrace. There’s table tennis for the family to enjoy, too. Inside is traditional in style, but business travellers will appreciate the desk area in one of the bedrooms. Out and about, you’ll find a wide range of restaurants, bars and shops in Portocolom, as well as pretty beaches such as Cala Marcal, which lies to the south of the marina.

White Oak & Vine

With stretching views over the bright Alcúdia Bay, this beachfront villa is situated on a rocky viewpoint by the water's edge. A mere ninety metres from the sandy beach of Cala Tonó, come and see how Colònia de Sant Pere is a hidden gem on the Mallorcan shoreline. Inland, hikers will love the Puig de Ferrutx and historians may wish to visit the Sa Clova d'es Xot.

Feel the sea breeze as you begin each morning out on your balcony, then make coffee in the kitchen and enjoy an alfresco breakfast beneath blue skies. We think the best way to relax here is by thumbing through a good book before cooling off in this plunge pool. For your afternoon siestas, you'll find peaceful bedrooms that have been designed in a coastal colour palette – so you can sleep soundly as the waves lap just outside. When you grow peckish, gather downstairs for a traditional dinner of frito mallorquín while you discuss tomorrow's plans.

The Edge of Water

Step into a Mediterranean daydream at this seaside villa in Menorca. The interiors are effortlessly stylish and pay homage to the region, featuring natural materials such as stone and linen. Powered by solar energy, this sustainable home comes with a hot and cold barrel plunge, a saltwater pool, a yoga area, and panoramic sea views. Set in the hills of San Jaime and surrounded by turquoise-water beaches, this UNESCO-listed island is as idyllic as they come. Spend your days dining alfresco and watching the waves from the balcony before hopping in the car and exploring all the island has to offer. With congeriege on hand and lots of luxury add-ons, this home promises a holiday to remember.

Azure Sky Abode

A fifteen-minute walk from Binibeca's restaurants, bars, and beaches, this villa is a laid-back option on Menorca's southeast coast. The outside space is perfect for soaking up the rays. While kids splash in the private pool, grown-ups can relax on the covered terrace with an ice-cold Pomada. Some of the elements inside are a bit traditional for our liking – particularly the kitchen – but the ground-floor layout is ideal for guests who struggle with stairs. We think it's a good option for a family getaway.

Binibeca Wonder

This dreamy Finca is in a peaceful location surrounded by nature. Fringing the beautiful coastal town of Son Severa, it's the perfect base for exploring Majorca. Here, you'll fall in love with the island's natural beauty. Set on a verdant canvas of lush, landscaped gardens and bordered by shrubs and trees, this home guarantees privacy in a serene rural location.

Inside, sunlight floods the space. Airy rooms boast tall ceilings with striking wooden beams, encompassing the rustic-chic design that runs throughout. We love the glorious, open-plan kitchen and lounge, adorned with artwork and ceramics. A large dining table sits in the heart of the space, beckoning you to gather here often for home-cooked feasts, lovingly prepared in the fully-equipped kitchen. With two bedrooms, each offering access to the garden via timber-framed double doors, there's space for four guests. From every room, underfloor heating ensures chilly nights are always cosy, while large windows offer stunning views of the lush surroundings.

In the mornings, step outside with your cup of coffee and soak up the soft early sunlight. Here, the swimming pool takes centre stage, offering a sparkling oasis from the Meditteranean heat. A shaded patio with an additional dining table adjoins the kitchen. When paired with the outdoor barbecue, it's the perfect spot for alfresco dining. If you can tear yourself away from this home, the golden sands of Platja des Port Vella and Bona Beach are less than a five-minute drive away.

Cariño

Immersed in nature, this home has tranquillity running through its core. While the surrounding area and steep steps mean it's unsuitable for small children or guests with limited mobility, its elevated position treats you to views across Albufera de Grau Nature Park. Sun-drenched terraces and a private pool make the most of those vistas and here, alfresco dining is a must. Locally, sink into authentic Menorcan life with a visit to Subadia Farm to pick up some fresh produce or try your hand at cheese making.

Balearic Comfort

This is one of the oldest farmhouses in Menorca and you can feel the history in the vaulted ceilings and thick stone walls inside. The walls and old stone fireplace may have been whitewashed like a traditional Balearic farmhouse, but the furnishings are modern and ooze style. Relaxing in the cool of the living room is a delight with pops of neon pink and lipstick red livening up the room. The kitchen has that old farmhouse feel to wood-panelled cabinets and a Belfast sink, but the lick of turquoise paint sings of summer holidays and vibrant evenings together. Archways link several seating areas where the group can spread out.

Heading outside, you’re met with the scent of lavender bushes and twisting olive trees feel as though they’ve been here as long as the old farmhouse. The gardens are bursting with herbs and wildflowers, so you can listen to the happy buzz of bees while taking your morning coffee at one of the many seating spots outside. A long dining table in the shade of the veranda invites you to linger for long lunches in the sun. Once you’ve digested thoroughly to the chirp of crickets, slip into the serene swimming pool to cool off.

It’s a short drive to the coastal town of Santo Tomas where a long, sandy beach awaits. Plus, along this stretch of the Menorcan coast, you’ve got Bini Gaus Beach and an ancient cave the size of a cathedral to explore.

The Wildflower Harvest

This characterful home offers the best of both worlds, with a gorgeous and spacious interior, paired with a flourishing, verdant courtyard. The large windows throughout the home allow plenty of natural daylight to stream into the living spaces. A blend of modern features and traditional marks, such as a wooden beamed ceilings, will leave you feeling as if you've been transported back in time as you wander through the home. You'll find a charming little reading nook upstairs through the stone arch, where you can find a ton of books to browse and read at the library table or the cosy sofa nearby.

This home has plenty of seating areas to relax alone or spend some time socialising with your loved ones over a rich cup of coffee. The sleek kitchen is the perfect spot to whip up a homemade dessert or delicious savoury meal to be enjoyed at the wooden dining table underneath chestnut-coloured wooden beams. Alternatively, you can tuck into tasty plates of food alfresco-style in the luscious courtyard under the sun.

Head out to explore the historic medieval village of Artà, with a wonderful street market every Tuesday. The sparkling coast is also only a short drive away where you can visit a great selection of beaches such as Cala Mesquida and Cala Torta.
