To the backdrop of the Sierra Tramuntana foothills, this villa is ideally situated in the picturesque north of Mallorca, just outside the Roman town of Pollença and a short drive away from Port de Pollença and its pine-tree-lined coastal walkway. With sandy beaches, bars, and restaurants nearby, and nature on your doorstep, there’s no doubt this home boasts an enviable location. What we love most, though, is the sense of tranquillity here. Perfect for a romantic break away from it all, the quaint interiors and sun-kissed outdoor space will charm you from the moment you arrive. 

The Sun on a Mountain View

It’s not often you find a Pollença townhouse as stylish and immaculate as this, but then the owner is a celebrated designer. Spread across three levels, you’ll find a chic mix of statement lighting, striking tiles and one-off pieces. There’s a lovely balcony and patio area, and a Jotul wood burner for winter stays. 

But the focal point of the home has to be the roof terrace with its outdoor sofa and beautiful views across the town to the Puig de Maria. We can see ourselves sunbathing here or enjoying pre-dinner cocktails. The cobbled streets of Pollença town are outside your door and you’re a 15-minute drive from the pretty coastal resort of Puerto de Pollença. Spend your days sightseeing or soaking up some sun, sea and sand, before an evening of tapas and sangria on Pollença’s bustling square, and a spot of stargazing on the roof terrace. 

Orange Crush

Bright and open, this Palma home isn’t just a gorgeous haven for beach lovers, it’s also a portal to some of the most beautiful hiking trails. Explore this Balearic island by enjoying sun-drenched beach days on Platja de Can Cap de Bou, or by walking scenic routes like Camí Boquer and Vall de Bóquer. 

Back home, you can bask in the sun by claiming a sun lounger and spending the day between tanning and dipping into the private pool to cool down. Stay hydrated with an ice-cold drink and read a holiday romance novel from under the brim of a floppy hat. 

Dine alfresco in the loggia and head around the front of the house to find a comfortable spot in which to enjoy evening drinks and nibbles. Most of the bedrooms lead out onto the balcony, so enjoy sunrises and fresh air out there as you nurse cups of coffee. 

Inside, you can fling the doors open to let fresh air into this amply lit space – spend lazy evenings watching movies or playing board games here, nipping to the kitchen every now and again to top up your drinks.

From Arch to Arch

There’s an uplifting quality to this home. It’s the kind of space where you can get lost in sea views and the magic of island living. 

Located in the La Gola area of Pollença, it’s the perfect setting to enjoy the laid–back atmosphere of the town. And like the landscape that surrounds it, the interior of this home feels bright and warm. You’ll love opening the doors and stepping onto the balcony – this is a wonderful spot to watch the sunrise with your morning coffee or enjoy an afternoon siesta in the shade. 

From here you can walk to the beach, amble along the Pine Walk and make a stop in any of the cafés, restaurants or bars along this stretch of coastline – it’s only a ten–minute walk into the centre. Plus the nearest supermarket and bakery are only a five–minute walk away. 

With your basket full of supplies make your way home to watch the sunset across the horizon. We won’t be surprised if the balcony becomes your favourite place to eat on the island. 

The Watermelon Moon

Sitting at the end of a quiet country lane in La Font, this villa invites ample relaxation within its lush green grounds. A private pool takes centre stage in its outdoors, with a shaded alfresco dining spot and a plethora of sun loungers completing the idyllic scene. A blend of contemporary and traditional decor can be found inside, with beamed ceilings and practical furnishings providing a warm welcome. And the upstairs main bedroom offers a private terrace – ideal for enjoying a sundowner while taking in views over the verdant grounds. When you’re not spending time at home, hop in the car to explore Pollença Town (less than a ten-minute drive) or make a beeline for Port de Pollença with its stretch of sandy shoreline. 


A Hidden Paradise

Perfectly placed between Pollença Old Town and Port de Pollença, this home ticks three big boxes for us. It’s close to town for shopping and dining out, a mere ten-minute drive from the beach, and it’s a peaceful countryside location to retreat to. Comfortable for eight guests, the outdoor space is the cherry on the cake with mountain views, generous gardens and a private pool to cool off in the heat – ideal, really, as with timed air conditioning, inside the villa may be a little warm during the day. 

Under the Mountain Sun

In true Majorcan style, this home has rustic beauty and summer living at heart. With majestic palms and a covered terrace, dining alfresco is a must at this relaxing haven. Spend your days swimming lengths in the pool and sipping wine as you recline on the sun loungers. Situated in the countryside, you’re surrounded by the peace of nature – you really couldn’t ask for a better backdrop than the mountains that surround you here. Sitting on the terrace, you can easily get lost in your holiday read with just the birds chirping in the trees for company. As day drifts lazily into night, evenings will be well spent enjoying sundowners on the quaint balcony – such a nice little romantic place for two. After pre-dinner drinks, light the barbecue and get to work cooking up a feast in the charming outdoor kitchen.
 
While you’re in a secluded sanctuary, you’re only a twenty-five-minute walk to the delightful Old Town of Pollença and a short drive to the picturesque beaches, where you can enjoy kayaking or maybe even the thrill of jet skiing. On Sundays, pop by the farmers' market and sample the local produce for an extra treat. 

Turquoise Crush

You’ve got the best of both worlds with this villa – blissful rural isolation, but just a five-minute drive from the bustling resort of Port de Pollença. Step inside and you’ll find a home that’s elegant but unfussy, with plenty of living space for the whole family. The star of the show here is undoubtedly the view – with a panorama over the sea and the entire bay, it really is quite special. Large windows and a wrap around balcony make sure you’ve got plenty of opportunities to soak it in, whether it's from the comfort of your bed or the bright and airy living room. Take the short drive to the resort for sea and sand, and a string of waterfront restaurants. Come back for a swim and a round of ping pong or sunbathing before a barbecue dinner. Spend your evenings on the terrace with a paella and a tasty Spanish red, watching the sun go down behind the mountains. 

Siesta Fiesta

This beautiful stone farmhouse is located between Pollensa and Puerto Pollensa, and is the perfect spot to be for travellers who are looking for peace and privacy during their holiday. If you're not willing to compromise on proximity when it comes to visiting sandy beaches and accessing everything the town of Pollensa has to offer, this is the home for you. Ideal for large families or groups of friends, you'll have access to your own private pool where you can do some paddling or sunbathe and relax, alfresco dining spots for enjoying meals grilled on the barbecue or in the modern kitchen, and the lavish gardens surrounding the home. In the evening, gather in the living room and let the warmth from the cosy fireplace help you unwind after a busy day.

The location of this home is one of its many highlights — whether you're in the mood for a day at the beach, a day exploring the historical and cultural sites of the town and port of Pollenca, or you just want to find a great restaurant for lunch, you'll find everything you need just a short drive from your doorstep. We do recommend having a car here, but you'll find yourself in fairly close proximity to everything exciting and worthwhile in the area, so you'll be able to fit in everything you want to do. This home acts as the perfect centre point for those wanting to get the most out of their Mallorcan holiday.

Blessed with beautiful surroundings, avid golfers will be glad to discover that the Pollença Golf Club sits nearby, ideal for sunny mornings spent strolling along the greens. Alternatively, you'll have easy access to scenic hiking routes in every direction of your doorstep.

More than three hundred years old, this historic home comes complete with characterful original features, including stone walls and original wood beams. Simply light the log burner to create a cosy atmosphere in your bright living room, and whip up a Balearic breakfast in this elegant kitchen. If you never wanted to leave this slice of heaven, we’d get it. But the old town of Pollenca is just a short walk away – walk through cobblestone streets, tuck into tapas at local spots, and explore the handicraft shops. For days at the beach, head for Cala San Vincente or Puerto Pollenca – they’re both just a ten-minute drive away.

Imaginations Run Wild

Hidden away amid Mallorcan mountains and Mediterranean vegetation, this villa benefits from a perfectly peaceful spot close to the northernmost point of the island and offers plenty of ways to bask in this tranquillity.

On summer afternoons, the swimming pool in the middle of the garden is sure to see plenty of visits, but there's also a ping-pong table and lots of loungers if you want to stay on dry land. When evening time rolls around, what better way to toast a productive day than lighting up the barbecue and feasting on the fruits of your labour on the plant-lined verandah?

Inside, the living quarters feel bright and airy, thanks to the large glass doors letting in ample amounts of natural light and an open layout that lets this asset flow about unimpeded. The furnishings and finishes are simple in style, with only the patches of exposed stonework and terracotta tiles in keeping with traditional Baleric design – the wood-burning stove in the living room is rather rustic, too.

When you're in the mood to see a little more of Mallorca, the beach town of Puerto Pollensa is 1km away, with lots of bars and restaurants to tide you over after a day on the seaside. Further inland, you'll find a wide selection of hilly hiking routes and golf courses, as well.
