Just a short stroll from Alcanada beach, this villa makes an ideal family getaway on the Mallorcan coast. If you’re bringing little ones, they’ll need to be supervised in the outdoor area as the pool’s not fenced and there’s a drop at the end of the pool, but this sun-kissed space is perfect for lazy afternoons at home – albeit a little overlooked by the neighbouring home. If you need some respite from the sun, there’s even a games room here, providing an easy way to while away the hours. 

A Blush of White

This villa has everything you need for a luxurious stay on the Mallorcan coast. The location is fantastic – two beaches are easily reached on foot, while historic Alcúdia is just 2 kilometres away – but that's not the only thing that caught our eye. Back home, there's an inviting swimming pool, an eight-seater Jacuzzi, and an array of sun-kissed terraces to take advantage of. Preparing dinner is a breeze in the outdoor kitchen, or, for the ultimate indulgence, hire a private chef to do all the cooking for you. There's also plenty of space here for large groups, with four people sleeping in a guest house – though it does cost a fee to use.

There’s a simplicity to island life in Mallorca that we love. And this home, located in the heart of Port d’Alcudia is the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the best of Mediterranean living.

With beautiful views across the bay, this apartment is filled with light and warmth. It feels uplifting here. And whether you’re sipping your morning coffee on the balcony or enjoying a siesta in the bedroom, the elegant styling of this home makes it easy to relax.

Port d'Alcúdia is all about the beach, and this bright and comfortable apartment couldn’t be better placed for all that is seaboard. The crisp white interior gives way to views of the bustling seashore, gently swaying palm trees and the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. Sit sipping sangria on the lovely second-floor balcony – it’s a prime people-watching spot – as boats bob around in the nearby marina. 

The one-minute walk to the beach is a breeze, no matter how many bags you’re carrying, and there are shops, supermarkets and restaurants within strolling distance. It’ll be easy to stock up on cooking essentials to prepare meals in the all-white kitchen, where there’s plenty of space for rustling up simple suppers or lavish brunches. Whether you’re on a family holiday or travelling with friends, there’s plenty to keep everyone occupied.

Sol Blanco

This Mallorcan villa 500 metres from the town centre of Santa Margarita offers plenty in the way of fun and enjoyment. The funky modern decor may not be to everybody’s taste, but it’s really all about the facilities here. The home boasts a cinema room and private gym, as well as outdoor amenities including a pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and even a covered pool table and ping-pong table for more hours of entertainment. You can stock up on local fruit and vegetables at Santa Margarita’s bi-weekly market, or head to Can Picafort or Son Serra de Marina beach – both only a twenty-minute drive away. 

Open Air

A former fisherman's house, this waterside villa is now a modern home for romantic couples and small groups of friends and family looking for a relaxing retreat. Make a beeline straight for the lower-floor terrace, and take in the wide, sweeping views of the Mediterranean Sea and Cap de Formentor – trust us, you'll be blown away. 

Left completely open, so you can watch the waves lap up against the shore while enjoying morning coffees and evening aperitifs, it's a magical spot to unwind. Fully furnished with a dining table that comfortably seats the entire group and an inviting lounge area, this one will be hard to leave. Elsewhere, white, polished wood and a grey colour palette create chic, minimalist interiors. 

After a gentle start, pack your seaside essentials and take the thirteen-minute stroll to the nearest beach at Platja Es Morer Vermell. Spend hot afternoons swimming in the sea and sunbathing on the soft sand. End the day with a drink in the charming town of Alcúdia, just ten minutes away by car.

Mallorca’s rolling hills and rugged coastlines are simply made for exploring. From urban centres like Palma, to quaint towns like Maria de la Salut (a fourteen-minute walk from this home), the island offers many ways to keep you busy. Hiking, watersports, and browsing local markets are more options that might take your fancy – but maybe you’re just here to relax?

In this secluded villa, relaxation is the first port of call. While some might opt for the Mediterranean lifestyle of local beaches such as Can Picafort, a fifteen-minute drive away, you can experience the sea in your private saltwater pool. With plenty of sun loungers, and an outdoor shower, you can bring the beach to your own home.

Eco-friendly sensibilities such as solar panels make the most of the sunshine, which you can also do up on the raised decking, with a verandah for wining and dining. Out front, there’s yet another outdoor lounge with comfy wicker furniture, creating an old-fashioned, rural feel in contrast to beautifully modern interiors. While we admit that you might not be spending much time indoors, we love the monochrome colour scheme of the living space, alongside minimalist furnishings, and exposed stone walls.

The Inland Shore

Imagine barefoot beach walks, impromptu dips in the sea and lazy afternoons on a lounger and you’ll find yourself here on the bay of Pollensa. And when it comes to location, we’re not sure it gets much better than this home. 

Sitting in a quiet residential neighbourhood with the centre of Alcudia just a ten-minute walk away, there’s everything you could need to experience the rejuvenating spirit of island living. 

Inside, you’ll find a simple space dedicated to bringing comfort and ease to your stay. From the open plan design and calm palette of colours to the air-conditioned rooms, it's the perfect setting to slow down and savour life’s simple pleasures. 

Enjoy quiet mornings watching the waves dance on the shoreline, take a refreshing walk into the centre or make the short drive to Playa de Muro beach. You’ll find Alcudia has a wonderful selection of bars and restaurants, as well as a wonderful artisan market – providing the perfect opportunity to connect with local tradition.

Head out to explore and in addition to the nearby beaches, the charming town of Alcúdia has plenty of excellent restaurants and buzzing bars, plus a scenic port, just an eight-minute taxi ride away.

Wave Hello

This Spanish home makes the perfect base from which to explore stunning Alcúdia, as well as many other beach towns along the Mallorcan coast. We absolutely love how the host has decorated – original features such as wooden beam ceilings and exposed brickwork come together with modern lighting and contemporary furniture, to make the home feel fresh and modern while still retaining the Spanish character that makes it so special. Here, you’re just a few minutes’ walk from the beach, where you can enjoy a cocktail in a sun lounger or try your hand at some water sports – there are also tons of lovely restaurants and cafes in this charming seaside town, based just a stone’s throw away from your lovely accommodation.

We reckon there’s no better way to start your day than by cooking up some crepes in your Spanish country kitchen and eating together around your quaint kitchen dining set. Rest on the comfy sofa while you discuss your daily itinerary. Head outside to find your covered terrace, complete with a dining set and places to lounge on hot summery days. Cook up some Spanish tortilla in the kitchen while you gaze out at the palm trees lining your street. In the evenings, fire up the barbecue to grill Spanish sausages, and take a bottle of champagne to your terrace area to enjoy sipping on as the sun sets.
