From here, it's easy to explore the architecture and stretching beaches of the resort town, making time to stop by the weekly market on Wednesdays. The bedrooms are on the smaller side but still comfortable and practical, and besides, you'll find more breathing room out back on the terrace, where a private pool – with a mosaic design – will keep the most energetic of the bunch busy for hours. This pretty cottage-style villa is in a peaceful location, just a fifteen-minute walk from the centre of Puerto Pollensa. Here, you can relax and unwind with friends or family, chilling out and enjoying the view of the Boquer Mountains. 

As soon as you arrive, you’ll be tempted by the inviting private swimming pool. Kick off your shoes and dip in a toe, or just go ahead and dive right in – this is your home-from-home after all. From the moment we pulled up outside and saw the setting, we were in love with this gorgeous stone-built home with its mesmerising views over the Mediterranean. Relax on the comfy L-shaped sofa in the stylish living room and drink them in or head to the mezzanine sitting room. Our favourite spot is the Eames-style rocking chair in the bedroom with its lovely beams. 

Outdoors is beautiful, too, and wonderfully private and secluded, thanks to its warm stone walls. Cook up a Mallorcan feast in the outdoor kitchen and enjoy it on the shaded terrace surrounded by cacti and potted palms. Then laze on the sunbeds in the Balearic sun – that's our kind of holiday. This place is absolutely perfect for families.

The location is great too – the charming town of Port de Pollença, with its restaurants and shops, as well as the fine sandy beach, is just three minutes by car, while Can Cullerassa Beach, used mainly by locals, is under 50 metres away.

This charming 16th-century finca has been completely renovated into a relaxing holiday home. It’s situated between Pollensa and Puerta Pollensa in Sierra de Tramuntana, so you’ll have mountain views while also being close to beaches, restaurants, and markets. The finca used to be an oil mill and that historic charm has been retained – think classic stone walls and wooden beams. There’s a delightful terrace with a pergola, a great spot for alfresco dining, in addition to a heated swimming pool, where we’d be spending most of our time. You can also look forward to working up a sweat playing petanque and table tennis.

Location-wise, you’re just 200 metres from the sandy beach, local shops, bars, and restaurants, and the famous Pine Walks is just a twenty-minute walk or a five-minute drive. Now, how’s that for a central location?

If you're not willing to compromise on proximity when it comes to visiting sandy beaches and accessing everything the town of Pollensa has to offer, this is the home for you. Ideal for large families or groups of friends, you'll have access to your own private pool where you can do some paddling or sunbathe and relax, alfresco dining spots for enjoying meals grilled on the barbecue or in the modern kitchen, and the lavish gardens surrounding the home. In the evening, gather in the living room and let the warmth from the cosy fireplace help you unwind after a busy day.

The location of this home is one of its many highlights — whether you're in the mood for a day at the beach, a day exploring the historical and cultural sites of the town and port of Pollenca, or you just want to find a great restaurant for lunch, you'll find everything you need just a short drive from your doorstep. We do recommend having a car here, but you'll find yourself in fairly close proximity to everything exciting and worthwhile in the area, so you'll be able to fit in everything you want to do. This home caught our eye with its sweeping sea views and fantastic location. From here, it’s just a short drive to the nearest beach, while Puerto Pollensa is less than 3 kilometres away. And while there’s plenty to explore in the surroundings, you’ll find this home provides the perfect setting to relax and unwind. Highlights include the private pool and the upper floor terrace – the ideal spot for sunset drinks. It’s worth noting the decor is a little dated in parts, but this is a great option for those in search of peace, privacy and stunning scenery.

It’s close to town for shopping and dining out, a mere ten-minute drive from the beach, and it’s a peaceful countryside location to retreat to. Comfortable for eight guests, the outdoor space is the cherry on the cake with mountain views, generous gardens and a private pool to cool off in the heat – ideal, really, as with timed air conditioning, inside the villa may be a little warm during the day.

Boasting panoramic views of Port de Pollença and the sea, this mountainside villa is really something special. Outside, two swimming pools and multiple terraces beckon you to bask in the sunshine – a glass of wine is optional. Head inside, and you'll find an abundance of traditional (though slightly dated) character – we're especially fond of the vaulted wooden ceilings. When you're ready to explore, you're just a short drive from the area's pretty beaches and the historic town centre.

Set in the heart of Pollença Old Town with characterful tapas bars and restaurants just a stroll away, the location of this elegant townhouse is unbeatable. The perfect set-up for friends or two families sharing, each bedroom has a separate bathroom for extra privacy, and there's a secondary living space that doubles as a quiet area or playroom. Outside, although the south-facing courtyard and pool may not be the largest in our collection, it feels blissfully private. As does the home's top-floor terrace with views across Pollença to the chapel-topped Puig de Maria.

If you're keen to be by the ocean, the three beaches of Cala San Vicente are within easy distance, and offer fine, golden sand and crystal clear water. We highly recommend a visit to Pollensa town to fully appreciate the area's history and culture. Stroll down the attractive narrow streets to admire the traditional architecture and signs of a fascinating past, then head to the impressive main square, where you can stop at one of the cafes for a cafe con leche.  

While you're in town, pick some up some fresh ingredients then head home to try cooking some local dishes on the barbecue. The outdoor dining table is ideal for alfresco family feasts, surrounded by spectacular scenery. Post-dinner, go up to the balcony with a glass of wine to watch the sun set over the beautiful landscape, or get cosy inside by the fireplace.

This traditional villa is an ideal base if you’re looking for somewhere with a nearby beach and within walking distance of beautiful Port de Pollença, its picturesque coastline and great selection of eateries. While it’s not the most luxurious of our homes, it’s comfortable, well-equipped, and the private pool provides some welcome relief from the heat of the Spanish sun. The sandy beach at Roca de Llenaire is just a short walk away, perfect for those craving a complete coastal getaway. 

Time for Tradition

This lovely home is just a five-minute drive from the old town of Pollensa – it’s a great location. Best of all, it sits in an elevated position and boasts glorious views of Pollensa Bay and the countryside. The outside space – framed by palm trees – is the best place to admire the views, though they can also be admired inside the modern, bright villa. We love the outside lounge area – it’s the perfect spot for pre-dinner cocktails as the sun is setting.
