This beautiful villa is in the heart of Caimari in the foothills of the Tramuntana Mountains. It’s a fabulous holiday home for a peaceful family escape, in an excellent spot for cycling. The garden is spread between different terraces, from which you can admire views of the surrounding landscape. We love the private pool and the Balinese daybeds around it, as well as the pergola with a shaded dining table – there’s a barbecue and fire pit, too. The home is filled with art and sculptures – there’s something to admire at every turn. 

Time to Relax

With vast countryside views, a private saltwater pool and peaceful rooms, this home hits all the right notes when it comes to a blissful island escape. There’s also a large terrace with an outdoor kitchen for dining alfresco and you’ll find each of the bedrooms comes with an en-suite bathroom – adding a wonderful sense of privacy. Parking is available for one car and you’ll find it’s just a short walk to the local cafes and restaurants of Búger. And for adventures further afield, it’s just a twenty-minute drive to the bay of Alcúdia and the nearest beaches. 

Tranquil Luxury

If you're looking to steer clear of the tourist trail, this secluded home is an idyllic rural retreat. On a private road, you'll have no nearby neighbours but it's just a ten-minute drive to the beautiful town of Algaida – one of the most authentic spots on the island. Surrounded by ancient olive trees, and with an old well out front, it's a charming Finca within a walled garden.

Here the order of the day is relaxation. You can bask in the sunshine by the pretty pool or seek out the shade in one of the garden's many interesting nooks – we love the covered dining terrace and the tucked-away barbecue spot. Stroll in the grounds, admiring the citrus trees, or hike further afield – inland Mallorca is a big hit with keen walkers and cyclists.

The home itself has just the right blend of traditional character and modern conveniences, with a few stylish choices when it comes to interiors. Cooled by the age-old design of its high ceilings, stone walls and tiled floors, the living space is grand and classically furnished. Open plan to keep everything sociable, there's a comfy seating area, dining table and a modern, well-equipped kitchen. Most strikingly, there's a new floating metal staircase.  

And best of all, the master suite is set away from the main house, in a gorgeous separate guest house. With its own luxurious en-suite with a sunken bath and views over the garden, it's an intimate room where you can escape in peace.

Sweet Orange Solitude

Tucked away in a rural setting in the heart of Mallorca, this finca is a stunning holiday home. 100 years ago, the finca was a shepherd’s house – it’s since been lovingly renovated into an eco-friendly escape full of charm. Views of the Tramuntana Mountains are a backdrop to the plant-filled garden, where you can swim in the private heated pool. The terrace is equipped with a comfy seating area as well as an outdoor dining table – there’s a barbecue to cook on, and your host can also arrange for a private chef to make your meals all the more special. The surrounding area is ideal for hikers and cyclists, and you can reach beaches in thirty minutes by car. 

Pieces of Blue

Life in rural Mallorca is meant to be lived slowly. And this home, with its expansive views across the Tramuntana Mountain range, provides the perfect opportunity to relax, unwind and experience the magic of Mediterranean living. 

From the soft light pouring through the trees to the traditional stone, art and books, there’s a quiet charm to this home that makes you want to settle in and stay. 

Spend balmy days lounging by the saltwater swimming pool, sipping drinks on the shaded terrace, and swaying in the hammock as the sunsets. By night, the garden transforms into a dreamy setting for candlelit meals prepared with fresh local produce, accompanied by Mallorcan wine. And when you’re ready to retreat back inside, the cool and calm bedrooms provide a wonderful sense of sanctuary. 

From here, make the short drive to the picturesque town of Inca for the weekly market, or set off on an adventure towards Alcúdia and the beautiful beaches lining the northern coast – the nearest is just a twenty-five-minute drive away. 

Casa Roja

Located just outside Inca on the island of Mallorca, this stone villa is a secluded oasis surrounded by wild, rugged palms and lush greenery on all sides. Inside, you’ll be struck by the beautiful flagstone walls that look like a giant geometric jigsaw. Rustic charm and modern furniture create a warm, inviting space where you’ll want to kick back with a glass of wine and curl up by the fire on cooler nights. With their white walls, wood-framed windows and vintage reading lamps, the bedrooms feel wonderfully traditional in their clean simplicity. Outside, a dazzling pool just begs to be jumped into, while the sun-loungers are perfect for catching rays with a good book. Fire up the barbecue for an alfresco dinner or head inside to the sleek, modern kitchen for homemade tapas and sangria. With Inca’s bevy of bars, restaurants and shops under ten minutes by car, plenty of local wine tours to enjoy and Ca'n Picafort beach a thirty-five-minute drive, this is the perfect base from which to explore Mallorca's many marvellous sights. 


Hernando's Hideaway

Tucked away in Maria de la Salut – a small hilltop town in central Mallorca – this cosy home for two is a wonderful pied-à-terre. Modern comfort and traditional style blend beautifully, with crisp, clean interiors that enhance the beauty of the traditional stonework of the terrace. 

Though the quiet, leafy setting of the house lends itself to rest and relaxation, you’re not far from the fun. Drive just nineteen minutes to reach Can Picafort, a gorgeous white sand beach with the crystal clear waters you think of when planning a trip to Mallorca. To really get a feel for how locals live, on Wednesdays head to Sineu and its authentic and historic market. In nine minutes you can be browsing local produce and livestock at a market that’s taken place for over 700 years. 

If you’ve loaded up on fresh veggies and seafood, you’ll be grateful for the modern kitchen at the villa. Open up the sliding doors and enjoy a glass of wine while your paella is simmering. Dine under the stars, and spend the night spotting constellations and making memories. 


Sunbeams On Stone

This stylish apartment is a great base for a large family or a group of friends. It’s in La Dreta de l’Eixample, a cool part of Barcelona rich in Gaudi-inspired architecture, boutiques, and upscale restaurants. When you’re not strolling along Paseo de Gracia or Rambla Catalunya, you’ll enjoy having such a tranquil space to call home. There’s a petite French balcony so you can sip your morning coffee while watching the streets below come to life. We love the large windows, which make the open-plan living and dining space bright and welcoming.

Barca Blues

Surrounded by orange trees with views across the countryside, this traditional Finca makes the perfect setting for a rustic retreat in the heart of Mallorca. And with its location just outside the centre Sant Joan, there’s everything you could need to connect with the warmth and beauty of the island. 

From the exposed stone walls and wooden beams to the whitewashed and natural tones, this is the perfect setting to slow down and savour life’s simple pleasures. And stepping outside, you’ll find the garden and pool make it easy to adopt a more peaceful existence – one that is filled with the serenity of the Mallorcan countryside. 

Days can be spent relaxing in this private sanctuary or embracing the island’s majestic mountains and beaches (the coast is less than a forty-minute drive away). And for a taste of authentic island life, don’t miss the weekly market held in Sant Joan – it’s the perfect spot to fill your baskets with fresh local produce. 

Casa Sol

As if plucked straight from your reverie, this architectural paradise combines high-end craftsmanship, natural textures and wooden details to create a stylish home. With four en-suite bedrooms, two alfresco dining areas and several chill-out spaces, it's perfectly suited for friendly get-togethers and extended families looking to unwind and experience effortless Balearic living. 

Completely renovated in 2020, you’ll immediately notice the modern touch that’s been given to this inviting villa – from the clean-lined furniture to the hand-painted ceilings, exquisite crittall-style windows and neutral colour palette. The living space is light and area, thanks to the sociable open-plan layout and timber-framed extension, that allows you to glide seamlessly across the polished floor to the seating area for a conversational meal together. 

There's a sleek designer kitchen for preparing tapas dishes and tasty snacks to be enjoyed out in the garden dining area with plenty of shaded seating for the entire group. Swim a few leisurely laps of the exotic Moroccan-tiled pool, before picking out a sun lounger to while away the afternoon. Alternatively, spend the day down at Ponderosa beach, where waterfront tavernas and beach bars vie for your attention, just a twenty-minute drive from the villa. 

Later, enjoy an aperitif on the furnished terrace, complete with low tables, floor cushions, rugs, ceramic earthenware and iconic Moroccan lanterns that create a laidback space to unwind and watch the sunset in the distance. When dinnertime beckons, grill locally sourced produce on the barbecue, or better still, head into the small traditional town of Llubí for a seafood supper, just six minutes away by car. 

Moroccan Majesty

Fresh as a daisy, this cantaloupe-coloured villa surrounded by meadows is a restorative treat. The all-white interiors create calm from the minute you arrive, and you can really tell the host has chosen the furnishings thoughtfully. The fairy light jars and floral accents are endearing touches, but you won’t be able to resist a whirlwind romance with the private garden. 

In juxtaposition with the interior, outside is an oasis of nature and colour impossible not to fall in love with. You can spend all day out here and never get bored. We earmarked the hammock for afternoon siestas straight away and loved the fact we could enjoy our homemade lunch in the shade of the arbour. A post-lunch hot tub dip will become a daily ritual, before rinsing off in the outdoor shower and heading on foot into Villafranca de Bonany (a ten-minute walk) for an evening tapas meal.

Hey There, Bright Eyes

This little rural apartment is here to provide the perfect stay for a couple or small family. Surrounded by nature, animals, and rural gardens, you'll be in for a treat during your stay. Go for a dip in the pool or relax on one of the sun loungers, or take advantage of the barbecue available and dine alfresco under the hot Mallorca sunshine. Indoors the large glass doors and light colours make the spaces feel big and airy, letting in natural light and providing a comfortable and intimate space to rest your head after a long day.

Although the pool facilities are shared, you won't have to worry about things getting busy – there are only two small apartments in this building, so you'll still be able to enjoy the secluded nature of the stunning location with its views of the surrounding mountain landscapes, without having to worry about crowds or too much noise. There is a weekly market in the nearby town of Sineu, and larger cities reachable a short drive away can provide you with anything you might need, as well as local cuisine and family activities to entertain everyone.
