Perched on a cliff just outside of Port Adriano, this impressive home has to be seen to be believed. Boasting an infinity pool, floor-to-ceiling windows, and every amenity you could ask for, this home makes holidays to Mallorca extra special. 

The double bedrooms look out to sea, so you can wake up to the soothing sight of bobbing waves and yachts passing by. This home has been designed to make the most of the superlative views afforded by the cliff-top setting, so you can expect lots of glass – the turquoise of the sea becomes part of the colour palette. 

The villa is just a five-minute drive from Port Adriano, where you’ll find shops and restaurants, and the port, of course. From here you can set sail on a boat tour of the coast or, if you prefer to keep your feet on dry land, simply sip coffee as you watch the boats pull in. A day trip to Palma might also be on the cards – it’s thirty-five minutes away. There you can stroll the historic streets, dine in top-notch restaurants and explore galleries and museums – it’s well worth the journey. 

After a day spent seeing the sights, head back to the villa to swim in the infinity pool or lounge in a day bed. The small indoor pool proves tempting in the evening when you can see the stars through sliding glass doors. There’s also a telescope set up in the living room for keen stargazers. 

Round off your day by watching the magnificent sunset with a glass of something chilled. This isn’t the kind of holiday you quickly forget.

This fabulous period townhouse is a real find. Authentic, beautifully styled and packed with character, it's a homage to the city and its history. Set over five floors, including the stunning roof terrace, its green shuttered windows and balconies are in keeping with the area's traditional feel, and the interior, while stylish and comfortable, reminds us of a museum. Whites and terracotta tones make for a timeless feel, while architectural features like the marble staircase and beamed ceilings provide a backdrop to a collection of antiques, vintage artworks and local artefacts – some even displayed in cabinets. 

The living space is exquisite, with windows to three sides, a comfy sofa and an open plan kitchen and dining space, and although the kitchen isn't huge, the host has managed to pack in everything you could need. But we think you're likely to be eating on the roof terrace most evenings. With its own small preparation kitchen to save you lugging dishes up the stairs, this space is simply beautiful. Eat together at the little table, read on the sun loungers or just take in the views across the rooftops. Given some privacy by a series of screening curtains, it's a superb place to watch the sun go down with a good bottle of wine.

Bright and stylish, this villa makes for an excellent base in Mallorca. It’s just outside of Puerto de Andratx, so the shops, cafes and restaurants of the town are a short drive away, but it feels like a real escape. The villa sits on the coast with stunning views of the sea – it’s a holiday haven. 

We love the stylish decor here. Each room is chic and attractive, with windows that flood the space with sunshine. The prominence of windows also means that the glorious coastal views become part of the decor – from waking up to drifting off to sleep, you can look forward to wonderful sea views and clear skies. 

Of course, with such beautiful vistas outside, you’ll probably want to spend as much time as possible in the fresh air. Soak up the sun on a lounger, and slip into the private swimming pool to cool off when the sun is at its most sizzling. Doze in the shade on the terrace, read books, or simply drink in the views while feeling the warmth of the sun on your skin.

Nestled in the perfect spot for hiking, cycling and beach holidays, you'll find this home in S’Arraco (right between Andratx and San Telmo) and overlooking the S'Arraco Tramuntana Mountains. Less than a five-minute drive away, the local village centre offers shops and restaurants to explore. Meanwhile, San Telmo and Port d’Andratx are the nearest hotspots if you're looking to hit the beach. There are also regular ferry trips to the protected natural park of Dragonera, where you can arrange to go diving or hiking on the breathtaking Dragonera Island.

Perched on an eighty-metre cliff in La Mola, Andratx, this home is the epitome of luxury. Chic and contemporary interiors sit alongside sun-kissed terraces, alfresco dining spots and a private infinity pool. The serene bedrooms all boast en-suites and two also enjoy private terraces, so a cosy spot for some quiet time is never far away. When you’re keen to venture out, Cala Marmassen beach is within walking distance, while Port d'Andratx is a scenic five-minute drive – if you can tear yourself away from the villa, that is.

The home's interior is as classic as they come, with exposed wooden beams, terracotta tiled floors and antique pieces. We particularly loved the bright and breezy living room with its open fire and the book-lined library on the first floor. In addition to three homely bedrooms in the central part of the home, there's a separate guesthouse on the grounds with an additional twin bedroom and kitchenette – ideal for a multi-generational family getaway.

Mallorca is known for its spectacular scenery, so as tempting as it may be to stay put, you'd be missing out if you didn't explore a little further. The unusual flat rock beach and trendy Gran Folies Beach Club are within walking distance, while nearby Port d'Andratx is lined with luxury yachts and some of the finest seafood establishments in the Med. Alternatively, head to the island's cosmopolitan capital of Palma and explore its atmospheric old town on foot.

Whether you’re lounging on the sofa on the sun terrace, dipping into the infinity pool, dining on the covered terrace, or soaking in the bubbling jacuzzi, you’ll be in front of that harbour view, sun on sea during the day and speckled with lights at night. With loads of space across four levels, it’s easy to find a shady terrace to catch up on holiday reading, or a sociable area for sharing sundowners. The villa’s Spanish style feels sophisticated and timeless, and modern touches ensure lux living, like the sleek kitchen, TVs in every bedroom, and a state-of-the-art gym and a sauna. There’s even a sandy petanque court and ping pong. With so much to keep you in situ, we know it’ll be hard to tear yourselves away, but you might be tempted by the spas, golf courses and sandy beaches in the area. Port d’Andratx’s seafood restaurants beckon, and by renting a car, the chocolate box villages of the Serra de Tramuntara mountains (and teeny hidden coves) are also within day-tripping distance.

It’s on a cliffside in Port Andratx and boasts pretty remarkable sunsets and sea views. We love the outside space, with its infinity pool and quiet corners, but the interior is stylish and comfortable too. There’s plenty of action to be had in town, and you’re close to golf courses too, so we recommend hiring a car unless you’re really keen on winding down.

For a stress-free break in the sun, you can’t do better than this luxury finca. It’s a serviced holiday home, so a dedicated team of staff will be on-hand to prepare your meals and help make your stay memorable for all the right reasons. The setting in the mountains of Alaro adds to the relaxing vibe – as you sip sunset cocktails on the terrace or swim in the private heated pool, you’ll be able to admire views of Castell d’Alaro and the Tramuntana Mountains. The home dates back to 1350 but has been lovingly refurbished into an elegant escape, equipped with all the modern comforts you might need – including a sauna, gym, and badminton court.

With far-reaching views across the harbour, bay of Palma, to Ibiza and the Tramuntana mountain range, it’s easy to see why this home made it into our collection. Spacious and homely, it’s impossible not to relax in this villa, which is an ideal base for a family or group of friends on a Spanish stay. As much as the indoors have a tranquil vibe, the outdoor space is the cherry on the cake for us. We love the private pool, opportunities for an alfresco meal, and sun-kissed terraces. If the views tempt you away from home, head to Port d' Andratx where the harbour and a range of authentic eateries await.

To adventurous types and thrill seekers, the Sierra Tramuntana are an action-packed playground, with challenging hikes up steep escarpments and bone-shaking mountain bike trails close by. Away from your mountain sanctuary, there are popular hikes departing from Esporles. From this hilly terrain, you can drive to the rugged coast in fifteen minutes, or explore the mountains to find stately homes like La Granja d'Esporles. And just a twenty-minute walk from this rural manor, you can stay in your very own modern-day version. 

This home is truly a garden of earthly delights. Like its surroundings, the private, fenced grounds are verdant and fresh. Made up of three traditional stone buildings, your countryside finca dream will come to life. A saltwater pool is the centrepiece, while rocking chairs, wicker dining sets, and a hanging egg chair give you plenty of options for taking in the sun. Let the kids run wild around the garden, with the table football and swing set keeping them busy while you pick fresh oranges and almonds from the trees.

The Tramuntana mountains are the perfect backdrop for memorable dinners along the water’s edge – the historic fishing fleet continues to supply fresh local delicacies right off the coast, so we recommend sampling the local seafood. Sip a cold Hierbas de Mallorca and watch the sun fade beneath the rugged pine-clad hills as the yachts twinkle across the bay.
