This romantic two-bedroom townhouse boasts an idyllic location in a quintessential Mallorcan village. Nestled in the island's beating heart, Costitx embodies the beauty of Mallorca's central region. Spend your days strolling through narrow cobblestone streets of rustic buildings adorned with timber-shuttered windows. You're just steps away from the main square, where every Saturday, the town comes alive for the weekly market. Come here with your tote bag and stock up on fresh, locally grown produce. Stargazing is also an option here, as you're only a thirty-minute walk from the Astronomical Observatory of Mallorca.

A charming stone terrace greets you at the home's entrance. With seating for two, it's the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee. Inside, rooms are spacious and modern, despite the home's rustic facade. The open-plan living area creates an airy and inviting atmosphere, with a cosy lounge and a fully-fitted kitchen, complete with a breakfast bar and dining table. Elegant floating staircases lead to the upper floors, where two bedrooms can accommodate four guests comfortably. 

We love the dreamy rooftop terrace, where a hot tub is proudly perched, offering stunning views of verdant forest fields in the distance. On balmy evenings, take a dip and watch the sunset over the terracotta-tiled rooftops. It's also the perfect spot for stargazing. With its rural location, Costitx promises clear night skies. You might even catch a glimpse of the Milky Way. 

The Astronomer

If you’re looking for a secluded island escape, this villa provides the perfect opportunity to experience the peace and tranquillity of central Mallorca. 

Just a short stroll from the tiny hilltop town of Ariany, lazy days can be spent moving to the slow rhythm of rural life. From quiet mornings listening to the sound of birdsong in the garden to refreshing dips in the pool, and delicious evening drinks with local delicacies served on the terrace, you’ll find yourself captivated by the rustic charm of this location. And if this all sounds too sedate, then adventure seekers can take to the open road with cycle rides or long walks through the surrounding countryside. 

From here, it’s just a twenty-minute drive to the beautiful white sandy beach of Can Picafort – providing the perfect opportunity to embrace the magic of the Mediterranean. 

Wherever the day takes you, this humble home welcomes you to light the outdoor grill and raise a glass to life’s little luxuries.  

Scarlet Sunrise

Sitting right in the centre of the island, this characterful villa promises a pretty panorama over the Mallorcan countryside with distant mountains on the horizon. A short drive away, you'll stumble across Sineu's historic town – the chosen royal seat of King James II in 1309 – where you can peruse the enticing stalls for traditional crafts and local produce at a weekly Wednesday market.

Designed with a clear love for nature, you can relax knowing that this clean-energy home is powered by solar panels. Behind the wooden shutters, you'll discover an open-plan living space, ideal for spending quality time with your loved ones. See how a spiral staircase leads you up to the mezzanine level, as the fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere under the wood beams. Out on the lawn, perhaps you'd like to sunbathe beneath blue skies, fire up Balearic barbecues, and cool off in your plunge pool. At sunset, what could be better than sharing an alfresco dinner with your family?

Love the Skies

Right in the heart of Llubi where you’re surrounded by a variety of restaurants, this home not only has the foodie’s needs at heart, but beach lovers will delight in knowing the ocean lies only 17 km away. 

When you’re not out sampling the local cuisine or spending your days in the surf and sand of Playa del Muro, you can find peaceful refuge between this villa’s four walls. Although, some might argue that the tranquillity can actually be found outside where the terrace overlooks rolling hills and the verdant green of native foliage. Spend days on the sun lounger, peeking out over the top of whichever book you’re reading to see the horizon. When it gets a little too hot, take a dip, swimming out to the edge of the pool so you never lose sight of the landscape.

The loggia houses a basic kitchen where you can put tapas together to enjoy alfresco at the table. Afterwards, take your glass of wine to the comfortable outdoor sofa and spend long, lazy afternoons enjoying the warmth from a shady position. Stay out there for long after, simply enjoying each other’s company, a fine vintage, and the sparkling stars after dark.

The Deep Blue Lookout

Sometimes you want to get away from it all, and sometimes it’s nice to be in town. This classic beauty of a Mallorcan villa offers both, sitting on a quiet street, 150 metres from the centre of Llubí. In the heart of town, you’ll find tree-lined streets leading to squares crowned with ancient churches. Pavement cafés spill into the street and bakeries and cafés provide traditional breakfast options. It’s in the heart of the Mallorcan hills, so cyclists will be particularly pleased with the location (there are bike racks in the garage too).

Heading back to the villa, you can unwind with a float about in the swimming pool, or perhaps indulge in a long, lazy dinner in the shade at the outdoor dining table. From here, you can admire the honey-brown stonework adorned with dazzling modern art by the Moorish wooden doors. Take your pre-dinner drink on the plush terrace sofas and enjoy the last of the evening sun. 

Inside, the villa is sleek and sophisticated with touches of old-world charm. Marble columns and the grand marble staircase caught our eye the second we walked in, and hand-carved wooden bedframes feel like they have Moorish roots. There are two living rooms to choose from – one with a plush, tufted sofa and the other with a delightfully retro suite. Our favourite spot might have to be the second terrace, shaded by a sail-like parasol and lined with balustrades.

The Red Jersey

You'll find this modern villa in the heart of Mallorca, just a twenty-minute drive from the sandy Playa de Muro, with the charming villa of Maria de Salud within easy walking distance. The interiors are laidback and welcoming, with a blend of natural materials, stylish furnishings and curated waxed houseplants. There's a sleek chef's kitchen and dining space for enjoying group breakfasts in the mornings, with sliding glass doors opening out to a private garden.

Most of your time will be spent lounging by the sparkling pool and sipping refreshing cocktails as you top up your tan. There's also a rooftop terrace with extra recliners and a furnished dining area for those lazy lunches outside – there's also a barbecue for those evening grills. But when the heat starts to rise, cool off with a gentle dip in the swimming pool or find a peaceful spot in the living room for an afternoon snooze. 

If you're looking to explore, you'll find some gorgeous beaches, including Can Picafort, Playa de Muro and Puerto de Alcúdia, are all within easy reach by car. There's also plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in town if a celebratory meal out is on the agenda. 

Balearic Blue

Located in the countryside, around 12 kilometres from Muro Beach, this villa is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet. In the garden, you’ll find a private pool, no shortage of eggs from the resident hens and a dining terrace for enjoying the bottle of wine and traditional Mallorcan dessert provided by your host. If you fancy stretching your legs, there are walking routes around the home. While the interior style won’t be to everyone’s liking, there is ample space for a group of ten, and the kitchen is well-equipped.


Mallorcan Mood

Revel in the peace and tranquillity of the Mallorquin countryside at this stunning villa, offering far-reaching views over the island's interior towards the jagged peaks of the Sierra Tramuntana.

The building cleverly combines modern architecture with traditional construction techniques, creating a contemporary home that is at ease with its surroundings. Vast panes of glass provide natural light to every corner of the spacious rooms, with easy outdoor access offered at every turn. An enormous open-plan living area includes a sleek kitchen, a sturdy table surrounded by elegant mid-century dining chairs and a comfy corner sofa.

There's yet more seating and dining space outside tucked away in a cut-out beneath the first floor, a fully fenced garden ideal for the kids, and a gorgeous saltwater infinity pool and integrated hot tub where you can soak in the views with a glass of wine in hand. 

Nearby, the town of Ariany will keep you stocked up on essentials while you're perfectly placed to explore all corners of the island from your central location. Drive thirty minutes west to the Tramuntana mountains, north to the beach of Can Picafort or Playa de Muro, or 50km south to Palma.

Vista Tramuntana

Reside in peace at this luxurious and unique villa. The living spaces have ample room for socialising and unwinding together with your loved ones. Snuggle up on the sofa to watch a movie on the TV, accompanied by a freshly opened bottle of wine. As you wander through the home, you'll find that there is a wonderful amount of natural daylight that streams in through the windows, especially the courtyard doors. The sleek wooden kitchen is the perfect spot to whip up a fruity dessert or a savoury feast. 

Tuck into tasty plates of food at the wooden dining table, lit up by the sunlight. There's also a dining table outdoors if you're fancying a delightful alfresco experience,  followed by enjoying a rich cup of coffee under the shade of the trees. One of our favourite areas of this home is the workspace, fitted with a standalone bath where you can admire the rural view as you unwind in the bubbles. The refreshing pool is positioned directly under the sun, where you can bathe in not only the rippling water but also the radiant sunshine.

Wander through the charming Santa Margalida village, or travel to the center of Mallorca. There's a beach not too far away with gorgeous white sands and sparkling waters. Visit a wide range of eateries that serve up traditional local cuisine, including a sumptuous beachside paella. You'll also come across the buzz of the Picafort and Puerto de Alcudia promenades.

Crystal Paradise

Nestled in Muro, a quaint town tucked between Inca and the S'Albufera National Park, lies this terracotta-hued villa. 

Wake up blissfully each morning in one of the charming bedrooms before stepping out onto the Cotto tiles and across to the sun-soaked roof terrace – here, you can enjoy your morning coffee and turn pages of your holiday read as the sun slowly rises. When the rest of your group awakens, enjoy a leisurely breakfast alfresco before spending the rest of the day poolside. Sprawl out on loungers and soak up the Mallorcan mentality, then dive into the pristine pool for a cooling dip. Once you've achieved your golden glow, gather on the patio for a grilled tapas feast – why not grill up some local seafood on the barbecue? We especially love the rooftop lounge – pour yourselves a Palo de Mallorca and chat late into the night. 

When you’re ready to explore, walk into town to visit the Museu de Mallorca- Secció Etnològica before settling into a family-owned restaurant for a spread of local dishes. 

Terracotta Blue

With vast countryside views, a private saltwater pool and peaceful rooms, this home hits all the right notes when it comes to a blissful island escape. There’s also a large terrace with an outdoor kitchen for dining alfresco and you’ll find each of the bedrooms comes with an en-suite bathroom – adding a wonderful sense of privacy. Parking is available for one car and you’ll find it’s just a short walk to the local cafes and restaurants of Búger. And for adventures further afield, it’s just a twenty-minute drive to the bay of Alcúdia and the nearest beaches.
