Escape to this traditional Mallorcan hideaway for two, tucked away in the hills of Pollença. The vast grounds surrounded by citrus and olive groves are impressive, but that private pool just for the two of you has caught our eye here. Should you ever be tempted to stray from this idyllic gem, you're closer to the bustle than you think. The pretty cobbled streets of Pollença are just a two-kilometre drive away, and a little further, the soft blonde shores of the coast.

The Gardens of Life

This luxury home has not one but two fabulous terraces. One has a barbecue and jacuzzi – the other, the top terrace, our favourite space, has a saltwater pool and beautiful views of fields, forests and the town. After a dip, relax on the round day bed with a glass of something chilled.

Inside is no less impressive – the stunning double-height living space with its floor-to-ceiling glazing is a fantastic place to entertain your family and friends. At night, lit by a modern twinkly chandelier, it’s very atmospheric. The vistas from the upstairs lounge are breathtaking, too, and we adore the atrium with its 200-year-old olive tree – it’s a real talking point and connects the home with the area's rural history. Choose a book from the shelves here, take a seat and truly unwind. And as for the elegant bedrooms, they all have en-suites.

Located in charming Búger, this family-friendly, quiet village in central - northern Mallorca has a range of amenities, such as a grocery shop and a few restaurants. A twenty-minute drive, on the other hand, will take you to some wonderful beaches, such as Puerto de Alcudia and Can Picafort.



Olive Branches

This home sits in the buzzing inland town of Sa Pobla, where you can experience a slice of real Mallorcan life. You’ve got streets filled with restaurants, bars and cafés galore, plus plenty of shops, but this place hasn’t quite made it on the tourism radar. Perfect for those that like a bit of authenticity.

You could make the short drive to the beach at Alcudia, or just stick around in the courtyard garden by the Jacuzzi. Pot plants provide a bit of greenery and there’s a wooden dining table for alfresco lunches. Inside, we love the original tiled floor of the living room, a nod to the 19th-century architecture that surrounds you. Stone archways and wood beams are in display and a grand old staircase leads up to the bedrooms. A couple of the bedrooms have Juliet balconies looking out over the atmospheric street before you. 

Sunshine On Tile

Built around the tower of an ancient windmill, you'll find this home peacefully perched on an open plain of verdant pastures against a sublime backdrop of the Tramuntana mountain range. This idyllic location encapsulates the beauty of Mallorca's North. The region boasts a diverse landscape unlike anything else on the island. With its rugged mountainscape, dramatic coastline and miles of white-sand beaches, it's a popular spot for adventure sports. 

Here, coastal resorts offer a laid-back, family-friendly vibe, while further inland, historic settlements impress with vibrant fiestas and authentic charm. You'll find this home nestled next to the rural town of Sa Pobla and an eight-minute drive from the golden sands of Alcúdia Beach. A little further up the coast, Alcúdia's medieval old town and bustling resort are yours to explore. 

Inside this charming home, earthy textures and neutral tones pay homage to the site's rustic roots. The open-plan kitchen and lounge, with ample seating and access to the shaded terrace, is the perfect gathering space. Although, the design centrepiece is the sweeping spiral staircase housed in the old mill tower, adorned with exposed stone walls and elegant light fixtures.

Set on a perfectly clipped emerald lawn, we love this home's glorious outdoor space. Spend leisurely days poolside, basking in the sun between refreshing swims in the crystal-blue water. On balmy evenings, gather on the terrace for an alfresco feast cooked on the barbecue grill and watch the sunset.

Meet Me at the Mill

Life in rural Mallorca is meant to be lived slowly. And this home, with its expansive views across the Tramuntana Mountain range, provides the perfect opportunity to relax, unwind and experience the magic of Mediterranean living. 

From the soft light pouring through the trees to the traditional stone, art and books, there’s a quiet charm to this home that makes you want to settle in and stay. 

Spend balmy days lounging by the saltwater swimming pool, sipping drinks on the shaded terrace, and swaying in the hammock as the sunsets. By night, the garden transforms into a dreamy setting for candlelit meals prepared with fresh local produce, accompanied by Mallorcan wine. And when you’re ready to retreat back inside, the cool and calm bedrooms provide a wonderful sense of sanctuary. 

From here, make the short drive to the picturesque town of Inca for the weekly market, or set off on an adventure towards Alcúdia and the beautiful beaches lining the northern coast – the nearest is just a twenty-five-minute drive away. 

Casa Roja

Found in the quiet suburbs of Mallorca – near the ancient town of Pollensa – this home is peace and tranquillity wrapped in a charming bow. Find yourself at home under the exposed wooden beams as you stroll across terracotta tiles. Where the kitchen and bedrooms are cosy, the living space is striking with high ceilings and a flowing, open layout that’s amply lit by the natural light streaming in through the large double doors. Doors that happen to lead out into the real highlight of this home – the garden. 

Sit in the shade of the giant palm, and take a dip in the private swimming pool when the day gets a little hot. An ice-cold drink can be enjoyed whilst sunbathing on the sun loungers – and multitask in the most relaxing way by also grabbing a book to read whilst out there. The shaded terrace is perfect for enjoying meals alfresco or drinks at sunset, and you’ll even find a ping pong table off to the side for a bit of post-lunch entertainment.

Wander into town, only minutes away, on your more active days and enjoy coffee in between exploring and shopping. The golf course isn’t too far away either, and this home's positioning is a little more secluded, you’ll never be too far away from a forest or mountainside walk.

The Pollensa Sunshine

Just a five-minute drive from Pollença, this villa makes for a handy base. The white sand of Cala San Vincente is just fifteen minutes away, as are lively Alcúdia and Port de Pollença. Aside from its great location, this home also has size on its side – there’s heaps of room for just two guests. The decor is traditional, so it won’t appeal to everyone, but the outside space, with its lovely view, private pool, and covered terrace, surely will. 

The Mural

Less than half a kilometre from the white sandy beach and crystal-clear waters of Alcúdia, this contemporary apartment is perfectly set up for a couple after a relaxing coastal retreat. 

Combining whitewashed walls and pared-back furnishings, you'll find sleek, minimalist interiors that create a practical pad. It's bright and breezy throughout the day, thanks to the tall glass doors framing your very own private, sea-facing terrace. We can think of nothing better than a warm summer morning spent out here, enjoying a basket of pastries, while admiring the shimmering sea in the distance and looking forward to an exciting day down at the beach. 

Head out to explore and in addition to the nearby beaches, the charming town of Alcúdia has plenty of excellent restaurants and buzzing bars, plus a scenic port, just an eight-minute taxi ride away.

Wave Hello

With vast countryside views, a private saltwater pool and peaceful rooms, this home hits all the right notes when it comes to a blissful island escape. There’s also a large terrace with an outdoor kitchen for dining alfresco and you’ll find each of the bedrooms comes with an en-suite bathroom – adding a wonderful sense of privacy. Parking is available for one car and you’ll find it’s just a short walk to the local cafes and restaurants of Búger. And for adventures further afield, it’s just a twenty-minute drive to the bay of Alcúdia and the nearest beaches. 

Tranquil Luxury

Nestled in the heart of Sa Pobla, this smart townhouse is a wonderful place to spend a holiday. With plenty of space both inside and outside, and high stone walls providing ample privacy, you'll feel right at home here in no time at all. 

Huge windows flood the living space with natural light, and the open-plan set-up makes it easy to socialise with your guests as you cook, eat, and relax. However, we think you'll want to spend most of your time outside enjoying the balmy weather. Start your day with coffee on the balcony, before stretching out on a sun lounger to catch some rays. Swim a few laps in the pool when you want to cool off, and come evening the whole group can gather for a grilled feast hot off the barbeque. 

Sa Pobla is home to some lovely restaurants serving up local favourites, and there's also a weekly market where you can pick up fresh produce. Culture fans will be delighted to find a modern art museum in the town, while golfers can practice their swing on the local course, just eleven kilometres away. And, if you fancy a day at the beach then take a fifteen-minute drive over to Platja de Muro for a day on the golden sand. 

Tapas Tradition

Far away from the crowded beaches of the coast, this traditional villa makes the perfect setting for rejuvenating rural retreat – one that will leave you feeling refreshed and inspired from the moment of arrival.

Stroll through the gardens and you’ll find yourself captivated by the rustic charm of this setting. From the traditional features to calm interiors and simple furnishings, every detail inspires a wonderful sense of ease and comfort. 

Days can be spent relaxing by the pool, making moves on the private tennis court and simply enjoying the peace and tranquillity of this rural setting. From here, you’ll find it’s just a short walk to the scenic hilltop town of Búger, while Alcúdia Bay is a twenty-minute drive away.  

Wherever you find yourself, this home makes the perfect setting for dreamy sunset drinks, al fresco dining and star gazing. And when the weather turns cooler, the living room invites you to enjoy cosy evenings by the fire. 

Casa Alma 

Dreaming of a sun-soaked holiday in Mallorca? This contemporary finca is just what you need. You'll likely spend every moment here outdoors with a sprawling garden, swimming pool with a built-in Jacuzzi, and shady terrace ideal for alfresco dining. Meanwhile, the breezy living area has plenty of space for groups to spread out and relax if you need a break from the rays. When you're ready to explore, Muro's traditional town centre is within easy reach. That said, we reckon you'll make a beeline to Playa de Muro's sandy beach – it's just a short drive away.
