Surrounded by warm-hued stone, this home’s beautiful patio is a special space. Relax here with a glass of wine or cool off in the spa area with its small pool and water blade – it’s particularly magical in the evenings. There’s a roof terrace, too, with lovely views over picturesque Artá, perfect for unwinding in the Mallorcan sun.

Inside, the modern features blend seamlessly with the old – think stone archways, beams and a traditional four-poster bed, as well as a contemporary kitchen and steel staircase.

This home is situated in the heart of pretty Artà, a town just a few kilometres inland from the northeast coast of Mallorca. It’s surrounded by the mountains of the Llevant Natural Park, so has wonderful vistas. On Tuesdays, there’s a weekly market, which is known for its local pottery. Other attractions in the area include the Bronze Age Talaiotic settlement of Ses Païsses, the Sanctuary of Sant Salvador, and the Caves d'Arta.



Swimming Under the Bridge

Less than half a kilometre from the white sandy beach and crystal-clear waters of Alcúdia, this contemporary apartment is perfectly set up for a couple after a relaxing coastal retreat. 

Combining whitewashed walls and pared-back furnishings, you'll find sleek, minimalist interiors that create a practical pad. It's bright and breezy throughout the day, thanks to the tall glass doors framing your very own private, sea-facing terrace. We can think of nothing better than a warm summer morning spent out here, enjoying a basket of pastries, while admiring the shimmering sea in the distance and looking forward to an exciting day down at the beach. 

Head out to explore and in addition to the nearby beaches, the charming town of Alcúdia has plenty of excellent restaurants and buzzing bars, plus a scenic port, just an eight-minute taxi ride away.

Thoughtfully restored to honour its heritage, there’s a wonderful sense of tradition here but it’s also styled to bring comfort and ease to your stay. And whether you’re relaxing by the pool or gazing across the rooftop views, there’s a quality of ease and openness to this home that makes you want to settle in and stay. 

From the stylish living space to the atmospheric courtyard, this home really captures the warmth and depth of Spanish living – it’s the perfect setting for intimate gatherings. And when you’re ready to explore beyond this peaceful sanctuary, Alcùdia Beach is just a ten–minute drive away, while the old walled town is on your doorstep. There are some lovely local restaurants and bars here, as well as a vibrant weekly market where you can buy fresh local produce.

The Rose Sky

Nestled within the tree-lined streets of Son Parc, this home opens its doors to a laid-back coastal escape. You’ll be welcomed by a sweet garden and a private pool, as well as a lovely shaded terrace – perfect for sunset drinks. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor, making this a great option for those with reduced mobility. You’ll also find it’s just a fifteen-minute walk to the nearest beach, while restaurants, bars and shops are also within easy reach. And for adventures further, your host can help organise car rentals – making it easy to explore some of the most beautiful spots along the northern coast. 

The Sea is My Darling

With marina views and modern decor, this bright apartment in the resort town of Portocolom is an ideal base for those looking for a slice of the Mallorcan good life. 

Slide open the open-plan living area’s glass doors and step out onto the private balcony – the ideal spot to enjoy your morning coffee or evening sundowner while watching the yachts sail in and out of the marina. This is also the ideal place to tuck into some homemade tapas treats cooked up in the sleek kitchen, or alternatively, gather around the living area’s dining table for a celebratory feast to the gentle sound of the waves just outside. 

The three pared-back bedrooms are wonderfully comfortable and the main bedroom gives you further access to the balcony. Factor in the luxurious bathrooms and you’ve got everything you need for a peaceful, relaxing stay. 

Outside of your home, walk along the seafront just outside and explore the many restaurants lining the water’s edge. You’re also a five-minute drive (or a twenty-five minute walk) from sandy Cala Marçal, while Arenal de Ases beach is a twenty-minute stroll from your door. 


Mediterranean Muse

This is one of the oldest farmhouses in Menorca and you can feel the history in the vaulted ceilings and thick stone walls inside. The walls and old stone fireplace may have been whitewashed like a traditional Balearic farmhouse, but the furnishings are modern and ooze style. Relaxing in the cool of the living room is a delight with pops of neon pink and lipstick red livening up the room. The kitchen has that old farmhouse feel to wood-panelled cabinets and a Belfast sink, but the lick of turquoise paint sings of summer holidays and vibrant evenings together. Archways link several seating areas where the group can spread out.

Heading outside, you’re met with the scent of lavender bushes and twisting olive trees feel as though they’ve been here as long as the old farmhouse. The gardens are bursting with herbs and wildflowers, so you can listen to the happy buzz of bees while taking your morning coffee at one of the many seating spots outside. A long dining table in the shade of the veranda invites you to linger for long lunches in the sun. Once you’ve digested thoroughly to the chirp of crickets, slip into the serene swimming pool to cool off.

It’s a short drive to the coastal town of Santo Tomas where a long, sandy beach awaits. Plus, along this stretch of the Menorcan coast, you’ve got Bini Gaus Beach and an ancient cave the size of a cathedral to explore. 

The Wildflower Harvest

A fifteen-minute walk from Binibeca's restaurants, bars, and beaches, this villa is a laid-back option on Menorca's southeast coast. The outside space is perfect for soaking up the rays. While kids splash in the private pool, grown-ups can relax on the covered terrace with an ice-cold Pomada. Some of the elements inside are a bit traditional for our liking – particularly the kitchen – but the ground-floor layout is ideal for guests who struggle with stairs. We think it's a good option for a family getaway.

Binibeca Wonder

For those in search of an easy-going coastal escape, this minimalist home delivers a practical solution. It’s just a short stroll from Son Bauló beach (500 metres away), and you’ll find shops and restaurants close by. We suggest hiring a car to explore the beautiful beaches further along the coast – Port d'Alcúdia and Playa de Muro are less than a twenty-minute drive away. Your host can also help arrange car rentals, as well as nice extras like private chefs and spa treatments. There are steps leading down to the terrace and pool, so children will need to be supervised here but overall there’s plenty of space to stretch out and spend quality time together. 

Sea of Simplicity 

Located within easy walking distance of Cala Galdana’s sandy bay, this villa is perfectly situated for a serene holiday in the sun. It has all the essentials for a blissful break, like a sunny swimming pool, space to cook and dine outside, and comfortable rooms for recharging your batteries. There’s a pool table and table tennis too, if you fancy a spot of friendly competition. And there’s also a kitchen for cooking at home, but with resort restaurants a short stroll away, you won’t need to go far for an entertaining evening in a local eatery.

Vibrant Shore

A paradise on paradise, it won't be a mystery why this home caught our eye. With several fantastic places to catch the sun, including by the large pool and on one of the terrace areas, this home is the perfect escape for a group of friends or an extended family. With an ensuite for every room and all that space, you won't encroach on one another, while still enjoying ample opportunity to come together to dine and connect. We especially like the shaded al fresco area and the Mediterranean garden. You're also a short drive away from the beach – perfect for a day trip.

A Fine Fig

Split over two houses, this villa on the Northern coast of Mallorca is a great getaway for a group of friends or family. The outdoor terraces boast stunning views of the surrounding area and with amenities such as a private pool, ping-pong table and TV stereo system, we don’t blame you if you stay put. Fancy exploring the area? The beach is just a short walk away and the adventure-seekers can enjoy surfing and scuba diving nearby. Make sure to check out the local town for plenty of eateries and good cocktail bars, too. 

Countryside Dream

This compact white-washed villa is moments from the southern cliffs of Menorca, offering marvellous sea views from its distinctive pool area. As an aesthetic space, it's not exactly heaving with furnishings, opting for functionality over character – the kitchen is particularly sparse, crammed into a space that will struggle to fit more than one determined chef. The bedrooms are perfectly cosy however, with one offering direct access to the south-facing patio. Beyond the pleasant swimming pool, outdoors also offers a choice of seating areas including a dining table overlooking the Balearic, plus a grill perfect for social barbeques. You'll also have easy access to the resort of Cala en Porter, with shops, restaurants and beach bars less than ten minutes away.
