You’ll find the centre of Sineu is just a short walk away – making it easy to explore the atmospheric streets, browse the abundant weekly market and sample the traditional bars and restaurants. 

And just like the authentic charm of this small rural town, this home will captivate you from the moment of arrival. From the traditional features to the contemporary comforts, the owners have created a space that celebrates the natural beauty of its environment. 

Set across two floors, you’ll find an abundance of space for relaxing and sharing quality time together. On the ground floor, the sun-dappled living room opens up onto a lovely terrace and garden – welcoming you to enjoy refreshing swims and golden afternoons watching the light dance in the trees. And when the sun begins to set, the upstairs balcony makes an idyllic spot to savour the magic of Mallorca. 

Casa Cielo

From the Buddha statues welcoming you at the door to the beach-vibey ratan ceiling in the living area, this beautiful villa creates an instantly soothing impression with plenty of relaxation in store. 

Its lush green garden is a veritable paradise of colour with plenty of shaded and sunny spots in which to rest. The large pergola invites alfresco breakfasts and starlit barbecue feasts around its table while the pool beckons long afternoons soaking up the Spanish rays before cooling off for some reading beneath the parasol. 

On cooler evenings, snuggle up by the wood-burning fire with a glass of wine and gather around the dining table for a homemade meal. Finish the night with a soak in the main bedroom’s en-suite tub before retiring to bed for a serene night’s sleep. 

When it comes to exploring the local area, the town of Inca is a fifteen-minute drive away, while charming Llubí is five minutes away by car. If a day at the beach is in order, drive just over twenty minutes to C'an Picafort or visit Alcúdia with its medieval walls, just under thirty minutes away by car.

Inside, you'll find an impressive open-plan living space that allows for seamless, modern living. It's bright and breezy throughout the day, thanks to the tall glass walls and sliding patio doors, while the sleek, minimalist interiors create an incredible sense of openness to the home. The ability to glide through the house means whoever's cooking can flit between the kitchen and seating areas with ease. 

Pour yourself a glass of wine at the breakfast bar, before spilling out onto the covered terrace for a lazy lunch in the sun. Fire up the barbecue and spend the afternoon in the garden. Swim a few leisurely laps, before picking out of a lounger for a serious tanning session and a little afternoon snooze. With nothing but the scenic mountainside and natural landscape around you, there'll be no disturbances here. 

While you could easily spend the entire day hanging out at home, we recommend you drive fifteen minutes to the nearest beach at Platja de Muro. Head out to explore and in addition to the nearby beaches, the historic town of Muro, with sandstone buildings, Sunday markets and an old church awaits your arrival, just ten minutes away by car. 

Panes of Light

For those in search of an easy-going coastal escape, this minimalist home delivers a practical solution. It’s just a short stroll from Son Bauló beach (500 metres away), and you’ll find shops and restaurants close by. We suggest hiring a car to explore the beautiful beaches further along the coast – Port d'Alcúdia and Playa de Muro are less than a twenty-minute drive away. Your host can also help arrange car rentals, as well as nice extras like private chefs and spa treatments. There are steps leading down to the terrace and pool, so children will need to be supervised here but overall there’s plenty of space to stretch out and spend quality time together. 

Sea of Simplicity 

For those in the know, Mallorca is a hiking and biking paradise. So adventurous types are sure to appreciate this apartment's proximity to stunning landscapes and scenic trails surrounding the sleepy pueblo of Campanet. In contrast, those in search of an authentic stay surrounded by the beauty of northern Mallorca will find joy in its slow pace of life as you wander its meandering streets and stock up on essentials at its weekly Tuesday market.

Whatever your preference, early risers will be rewarded with jaw-dropping views over the tree-lined peaks bathed in the golden morning light. Plot your route over coffee on the private balcony before setting off on lung-busting mountain ascents and high-speed downhill freewheeling. Fresh from a morning in the mountains, enjoy feasting on a homemade meal in the shade of the covered dining area before a post-lunch siesta by the shared pool. 

After an action-packed day, we understand if you don't feel like cooking dinner (despite the well-equipped kitchen). Campanet offers an enticing array of eateries within walking distance of the apartment. Meanwhile, good road links mean the coastal resorts of Alcúdia and Pollença are within easy reach. Alternatively, make your way to Búger for traditional Mallorcan tapas in yet more spectacular mountain surroundings.

Yellow Jersey

With vast countryside views, a private saltwater pool and peaceful rooms, this home hits all the right notes when it comes to a blissful island escape. There’s also a large terrace with an outdoor kitchen for dining alfresco and you’ll find each of the bedrooms comes with an en-suite bathroom – adding a wonderful sense of privacy. Parking is available for one car and you’ll find it’s just a short walk to the local cafes and restaurants of Búger. And for adventures further afield, it’s just a twenty-minute drive to the bay of Alcúdia and the nearest beaches.

Located in the countryside, around 12 kilometres from Muro Beach, this villa is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet. In the garden, you’ll find a private pool, no shortage of eggs from the resident hens and a dining terrace for enjoying the bottle of wine and traditional Mallorcan dessert provided by your host. If you fancy stretching your legs, there are walking routes around the home. While the interior style won’t be to everyone’s liking, there is ample space for a group of ten, and the kitchen is well-equipped.

Just a short stroll from the tiny hilltop town of Ariany, lazy days can be spent moving to the slow rhythm of rural life. From quiet mornings listening to the sound of birdsong in the garden to refreshing dips in the pool, and delicious evening drinks with local delicacies served on the terrace, you’ll find yourself captivated by the rustic charm of this location. And if this all sounds too sedate, then adventure seekers can take to the open road with cycle rides or long walks through the surrounding countryside. 

From here, it’s just a twenty-minute drive to the beautiful white sandy beach of Can Picafort – providing the perfect opportunity to embrace the magic of the Mediterranean.

Scarlet Sunrise

Located in the historic inland town of Sa Pobla, this stunning Mallorcan villa offers a private and stylishly curated space to sit back and relax. Drop off your bags, and make a beeline for the sumptuous poolside terrace – whether you're taking a dip in the pool, bathing on the sun loungers, or enjoying a languorous lunch in the shade (barbecue provided), it's an ideal spot. 

For the interiors, exposed brick, wood fixtures and tiled floors are expertly blended with contemporary furnishings to create an authentic Spanish feel to the home, without sacrificing modern comfort. We love the pastel hues and pops of colour around the villa, especially in the three bright bedrooms. 

There'll be no trouble filling your days here, as the local area provides a hub of activity right on your doorstep. There's quaint cobbled streets and squares lined with shops, bars, and restaurants, but the town remains broadly untouched by tourism, so you'll experience a real authenticity here. You can also make the short drive to the sandy beaches at Alcudia, for a change of scenery. 

Pocket of Sunshine

Fringed by fig and almond trees, clear blue skies and rolling Mallorcan countryside, this finca is a rural delight. The design blends rustic charm with contemporary style to create a breezy, social space that's the definition of inviting – we love how the sliding glass doors and panoramic windows show off the views of the mountains.

Set on a farm estate, so you'll wake up each morning to the sound of roosters crowing and the sunlight streaming through the windows. After a cup of coffee on the private balcony, while away the afternoon in the sun-drenched garden – you can take a dip in the pool, enjoy a picnic on the grassy patch or sprawl out on the lounge chairs with a cocktail and work on your tan.
