Surrounded by Spanish countryside just outside the quaint village of Cas Concos, this charming villa offers the best of both worlds – a slower pace of life and the tranquillity of its rural location, yet within easy reach of nearby towns and some of the most beautiful beaches in the south of Mallorca. 

High-beamed ceilings, warm wood and antiques bring a touch of class to the interiors. Waking in the four-poster bed in the mornings, throw open the French doors to enjoy the countryside views and fresh air from your own private sanctuary. Without a care in the world, stroll out to the balcony to enjoy your morning coffee as the breeze rustles through the palm trees around you – it’ll be the most perfect start to your day.

As your family wakes and the villa bursts into life around you, pad down to the private pool to enjoy a morning swim. The cool waters will be a welcome relief as the heat begins to build for the day. If you’re not planning a lazy day at home, pack your bag and jump into the car – it’s only a twenty-minute drive to the beach, where you can feel the golden sand cushioned beneath your feet. From country to coast, this home sows all the right seeds for a memorable stay with loved ones. 

The Pace of Nature

A paradise on paradise, it won't be a mystery why this home caught our eye. With several fantastic places to catch the sun, including by the large pool and on one of the terrace areas, this home is the perfect escape for a group of friends or an extended family. With an ensuite for every room and all that space, you won't encroach on one another, while still enjoying ample opportunity to come together to dine and connect. We especially like the shaded al fresco area and the Mediterranean garden. You're also a short drive away from the beach – perfect for a day trip.

A Fine Fig

If you long for a holiday close to the beach, in a quiet spot away from it all, this could be the home for you. Inside, the villa is traditional in style, but this is a home that encourages outdoor living. Surrounded by sun-kissed terraces, soak up Mediterranean Sea views that you’ll never tire of – you can even drink in those views from the private pool. An alfresco meal is a must in the dedicated barbecue area, or if you’re keen to dine out, the beach and restaurants of Cala Santanyí are just a short stroll away. 

Mystical Med

It’s rare that you can walk from a country farmhouse to the beach, but this Mallorcan villa has it all. Located in the beautiful Cala Mondragó, you’ll be surrounded by the untouched nature of Mallorca. Just a few minutes walk from some of the most prestigious beaches on the east coast, you could easily go without a car here, though we do recommend renting one if you’re keen to explore other resorts like Cala D'or. At home, you’ll have a private pool, barbecue area and plenty of outdoor seating from which to soak up the glorious sunshine. 
 


Unspoiled Beauty

Set within rolling Mallorcan countryside yet with a selection of beaches just a short drive away, this Spanish home is the perfect place to recharge your batteries. Sun-drenched terraces offer space for wining and dining, while the Mediterranean gardens are perfect for little ones to burn off some energy. And the private pool? It’s sure to be a hit with all. If you can tear yourself away from the countryside views, hop in the car and head out for snorkelling, surfing or golf in the local area – there’s something for everyone here. 

Garden of Paradise

From morning until night, you're sure to have a fabulous time at this gorgeous home, just outside Ses Salines. With plenty of space for your favourite people – and even a furry friend too – you can enjoy the balmy Balearic weather in style. 

You'll love waking up in one of the peaceful bedrooms and padding downstairs to make some fresh coffee in the kitchen. The living room, with its wooden beams and exposed stone walls, is bright and airy, perfect for kicking back and relaxing. Outside you'll find flamingo pink sun loungers where you can stretch out and catch some rays, before plunging into the pool for a refreshing dip. And, when evening rolls around, you can fire up the barbeque and grill up a tasty feast to enjoy with a glass of Spanish wine. 

Drive into the centre of Ses Salines, and you'll find a quiet, rustic town that holds a weekly market – it's ideal for stocking up on fresh local produce. Beach fans will be delighted that the impressive shoreline of Es Trenc is just seven kilometres away, where you can relax on the white sand and listen to the sound of the waves. And, with the sights of Palma just a forty-minute drive away, there's plenty to keep you occupied here. 

Sunrise Villa

This farmhouse has been renovated in such a way that it has retained its unique rural character while still getting to call itself a holiday home fit for the twenty-first century. Mallorquin both within and without, it’s built in the classic blonde stone of the area and filled with traditional dark wood furnishings, wrought iron beds and classic Mediterranean tiled floors. Spend your days lazing by the pleasingly large pool, enjoying long lunches on the covered terrace, and exploring some of the gorgeous local beaches — the sands of Cala D’Or are just 13 minutes away by car. Golf enthusiasts will be finding an excuse to visit the course at the nearby Club Vall D’Or and cyclists will enjoy the network of trails that criss-cross the island. Once the sun has gone down, fire up the barbecue, open a bottle of local wine and pass an evening under the stars with your loved ones. 

La Vida Loca

With some homes it's hard to know where to start, but with this place in Cala d'Or there's a very obvious beginning point. The beach. Set so close to the gorgeous Cala Petita that all you have to do is stroll down the garden path and step out of the gate to feel the warm sand between toes, it overlooks this pretty little inlet – the crystal-clear water constantly tempting you from below. With one of the best beach views we've seen, this beautiful spot is one of our favourites. 

Screened from its neighbours by lush hedges and fragrant pine trees, you'll feel tucked away here, with a fabulous view from the private terrace. The home itself is as pretty as a picture, with green shutters and a traditional covered porch. Inside, high ceilings, all-white walls and plenty of curves and arches provide the backdrop, while comfy, stylish furnishings and nautical artwork make for a homey feel. The living room is dominated by a gorgeous fireplace and there's a covered dining space with huge doors opening to the sunny terrace. Cooking at home will be a pleasure in the well kitted-out kitchen, but it's just a few minutes' walk to the nearby shops and restaurants.

Perfect for a family or a great choice for a multigenerational stay, two rooms are well suited to children, with enough bathrooms to prevent any queues for the shower. And if you're the kind of person who likes to begin the day with a swim, nothing could be more invigorating than a sea dip before breakfast.


Touch the Sand

Sitting up in an elevated spot and providing direct access to the breathtaking beach of Cala Mondragó, this home makes a happy little haven for holidays spent soaking up the Spanish sunshine. You can gaze out at the vibrant turquoise ocean from many spots on the sun terrace, with loungers and deck chairs for you to relax in, all surrounded by leafy trees and swaying palms that make it feel secluded. Inside, the home is modern and trendy, with Scandi-style furniture that gives it a calming feel. The home has some great spaces for socialising, with lots of room for each guest to stretch out and enjoy.


Carisa

Experience an authentic taste of Mallorca with a stay at this charming four-bedroom home in Santanyí. Nestled within the pastoral landscape of the island's southeast, the quaint town of Santanyí boasts traditional Balearic charm in a convenient location just minutes away from the region's stunning coastline. Lose yourself in the old town's medieval cobblestone alleyways, lined with caramel-hued buildings crafted from locally quarried marès sandstone. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, visit the market to stock up on fresh produce, artisan crafts and local wine.

Set across three levels, this home celebrates its historic location, with sun terraces perched on every floor. Here, you can marvel at sweeping rooftop views, best enjoyed with a glass of wine at sunset. Inside, the design is airy and modern. The ground floor offers a spacious dining room, fully-fitted kitchen and an adjoining sun-drenched patio bordered by tall walls. We love the patio's little outdoor swimming pool, where privacy is guaranteed. Spend leisurely days paddling here, cooling off from the Mediterranean sun. The cosy lounge on the first floor completes the ample shared spaces. With three double bedrooms and one twin room, this home can accommodate eight guests comfortably.

Fig & Honey

Nestled on the seafront in the bay of Cala Serena, this villa oozes elegance. For those who enjoy spending their time on the water, there’s mooring for a 25-metre yacht here – a unique offering on the island – but if sailing’s not your thing, there’s plenty to entertain you at this home. The private infinity pool and terraces are the perfect places to lap up the sun, or you can relax in the sauna after a workout in the gym. Little ones will love the outdoor space, complete with a playground for hours of fun. Need space for twelve guests? There’s a main suite available for an additional fee – just speak to your host in advance of your stay. 

The Crystal Blue

Situated in a peaceful residential area of Cala Santanyí, this single-level home offers some lovely views and a great location. The kitchen and bathrooms are a little dated and the decor might not be to everyone's taste, but the garden is ideal for gathering in the evening for late-night drinks, and there's a children's playhouse for little ones. We think you'll want a car here to get the most out of your stay – one of the island's picturesque coves is just a short walk from your doorstep, while the colourful town of Santanyí is just a short drive away with its local restaurants and weekly markets.
