When it comes to mealtimes, you can either rustle something up at home on the barbecue grill or head over to the on-site restaurant, where you won't have to lift a finger. After dinner, pour yourself a glass of local Mallorcan wine to unwind on the terrace, where the only sounds you'll hear are the ringing of sheep bells and the gentle clicking of the cicadas.

Casa Roja

This gorgeous stone house, so typical of the region, is a dream place for a family holiday or a relaxing getaway for an intimate group of friends. Nestled at the foot of Mallorca’s picturesque Sierra de Tramuntana and just a short drive from the historic city of Inca, you’ll be in an ideal spot for enjoying the peace and tranquillity, away from the hustle and bustle.  

The house is set amidst a large garden, surrounded by rolling hills and wild fields, boasting unobstructed views of the mountains. You’ll enjoy idyllic days of lounging by the glistening pool and sharing delicious alfresco meals in the outdoor dining area, which also has a barbecue oven. 

The inside will welcome you with a bright embrace and a lovely, traditional décor. We love the stone and wood walls and marble floors, and the wood-burning stove provides cosy warmth on those chillier evenings. Settle in for evenings of movies and wine on the comfy sofa or gather at the dining table for family games and communal meals you’ll be able to rustle up in the country-style kitchen. 

For a night of sweet dreams head over to the comfy bedrooms – you’ll have your choice of two equally charming ones. Wake up feeling reinvigorated and ready for another day of island adventures. 

Stony Weather 

With its palm-lined streets, baroque-style architecture, and rich history of leather making, the bustling town of Inca may not be the prettiest in Mallorca, but it certainly packs a punch in character. Nestled at the foot of the UNESCO protected Tramuntana mountain range, the town's rugged landscape boasts many cycling trails. It's also conveniently close to the motorway with handy transport links that will have you in Palma city centre in around thirty minutes.

You'll find this delightful home just a seven-minute drive from Inca, tucked away in picturesque pastures of olive groves. Here, nature takes centre stage. An emerald lawn primed to perfection forms the grounds of this home, while a border of towering palms and lush foliage guarantees privacy. We love the large private pool, with crystalline waters providing an oasis from the Balearic sun. You'll love spending time here, enjoying a refreshing swim before sun-bathing poolside on one of the many lounge chairs. If you fancy a beach day, the soft white sands of Playa de Alcúdia are less than thirty minutes away by car. 

Spread out across two separate units, this home is ideal for large groups. You'll find the open plan kitchen and dining room by the pool, where sunlight streams through large windows, creating an inviting gathering place. Cook up a feast on the rustic pizza oven and outdoor barbecue and dine alfresco on the sun-drenched patio. Inside the second building, you'll find the lounge and sleeping quarters. After a busy day exploring, retreat here for cosy evenings around the wood-burning fire. 

Botanical Breeze

This stunning villa was featured in a leading local design magazine, and it’s easy to see why. Inside, a predominantly white-and-blue colour scheme, high ceilings, stylish rattan furniture, and potted palms create a relaxing, breezy beach vibe that puts you at ease instantly. A choice of thirty fruit trees in the orchard, plus numerous vegetables and herbs in the garden, make it super easy to pick the ingredients for lunch. 

Whip up a sumptuous Mediterranean feast in the modern kitchen, and then round up everyone for a lazy meal in one of the numerous indoor and outdoor dining areas. Later you can burn the calories with a game of tennis or basketball, followed by a cooling dip in the pool. In part of the gardens you'll be greeted by the resident flock of sheep – feed them a few stalks of grass and they’ll love you to bits. 

If you manage to tear yourself away from this designer retreat, the village of Alaró has grocery stores, restaurants, and a trendy little gallery hosting exhibitions by local artists. The nightlife and beaches of Palma are a thirty-minute drive away. In the evening, wind down in the hot tub while sipping wine and taking in the views of the Alaró Mountains.

Earthly Delights

Set on a remote plot, surrounded by fields of green and the backdrop of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains, you'll have a haven of tranquillity with this serene spot as your base from which to discover the island of Mallorca. Located right in the island's centre, you'll be no more than forty-five to sixty minutes away from almost anywhere in Mallorca when staying in Selva. So why not rent bikes and follow the scenic cycle routes scattered around the island? Or hop in the car to discover the picturesque beaches and coves of the island's eastern coastline, explore the quaint Mediterranean villages in the west or set off on a day of culture, shopping and fine dining opportunities with a day trip to Palma. 


Summer Crush 

This villa is situated in the picturesque Serra de Tramuntana, with lovely views of the nearby town. The highlight for us is the large private pool, surrounded by hammocks, several dining areas, high hedges and a mini orchard. We also like the pool house's outdoor bathroom, while inside the villa itself, there’s a rustic charm to every room. If you tire of swimming in the pool and want to dip your toes in the warm Mediterranean Sea, you'll find several pretty beaches around a twenty-minute drive away.

The Spritzer

With an idyllic setting on a 30-hectare ecological estate, this villa is the perfect country retreat. Surrounded by communal almond groves with views of the mountains and sea, it’s easy to unwind here. There’s a shared full-sized tennis court and a ping-pong table to enjoy or you can relax by the private saltwater pool and on various terraces and balconies. Inside, the open-plan living room is ideal for entertaining – your host can also arrange for a private chef to create wonderful meals. There’s also a games area with a pool table to keep family or friends occupied. Located a thirty-minute drive from Palma and the north coast, a car is recommended but it’s worth it to explore this beautiful island. 

Summer Splendour

This terrific townhouse will make the perfect backdrop for many happy memories, whether you’re looking for a home for a family holiday or a trip with friends. Based in the heart of Campanet, this townhouse is ideally located to explore the quaint cafes and classy restaurants of this lovely town, as well as the renowned Campanet Caves. We love the traditional design, with cobblestone walls, exposed beam ceilings and wooden shutters, combined with modern and stylish furniture and decor to give it a fresh and trendy vibe. It also offers some luxurious amenities, including an outdoor pool.

Spend each morning on the balcony overlooking the pool, and relax on a lounger as the sun rises in the sky. Cook up some Spanish scrambled eggs and dine all together at the alfresco dining table. As the heat turns up, cool off with a refreshing dip in the pool, or pour yourself an icy sangria to drink in the shade. Fire up the barbecue to cook up some Spanish sausages and tuck in as the sun sets. Head out to explore the town’s nightlife in the evening, or pop open a bottle of Cava to enjoy with some late-night conversation on the balcony.

Caverns & Cobblestone

Set on a 30-hectare ecological estate a thirty-minute drive from Palma, this country retreat allows you to truly unwind. You can meander through the shared olive and almond groves and take in the views of the mountains and sea. Alternatively, have a game on the shared full-sized tennis court or enjoy a table tennis match. The villa itself has a private saltwater pool and various terraces and balconies to relax on. Inside, there are more entertainment options for family and friends here too with a pool table and a home cinema. Your host can also arrange a private chef to create wonderful meals, and they can organise tennis lessons, guided cycling tours and more – it’s impossible to get bored here.

A Sunbeam Hideaway

Set just outside the small town of Búger, this charming traditional stone villa offers a countryside escape for those looking for tranquillity off the tourist trail. Its hillside setting, surrounded by thick woodland, only adds to the feeling of isolation. 

Spend sun-kissed days laid out by the pool with a book in one hand and a cold drink in the other, while there are two outdoor dining areas to choose from when you get peckish. The waterside option is best for the heat of midday, while the first-floor terrace offers far-reaching views over the island that pair nicely with dinner.

Take a break from the heat in the vast open-plan living area, which offers front-row seats to the scenery courtesy of a series of doors lining the facade. A comfortable seating area surrounds the TV, while a well-equipped kitchen and dining area offer everything any aspiring home cook might need.

When you're not sunning yourself or socialising, the villa's three bedrooms offer soothing spaces to indulge in mid-afternoon siestas and unwind before bed. The main bedroom boasts an en-suite bathroom – with a Jacuzzi tub – for a little extra privacy and relaxation.

Head to Búger to stock up on essentials at the supermarket, but not before treating yourself to a drink in its charming coffee shop and stocking up on fresh pastries at the patisserie. Slightly further afield, the town of Sa Pobla hosts a farmer's market every Sunday and a few more bar and restaurant options. From here, it's a short drive to the golden sands of the picturesque Playa del Muro, while the untamed beauty of Cap de Formentor lies to the north. 

Spirit of the Trees

For those in the know, Mallorca is a hiking and biking paradise. So adventurous types are sure to appreciate this apartment's proximity to stunning landscapes and scenic trails surrounding the sleepy pueblo of Campanet. In contrast, those in search of an authentic stay surrounded by the beauty of northern Mallorca will find joy in its slow pace of life as you wander its meandering streets and stock up on essentials at its weekly Tuesday market.

Whatever your preference, early risers will be rewarded with jaw-dropping views over the tree-lined peaks bathed in the golden morning light. Plot your route over coffee on the private balcony before setting off on lung-busting mountain ascents and high-speed downhill freewheeling. Fresh from a morning in the mountains, enjoy feasting on a homemade meal in the shade of the covered dining area before a post-lunch siesta by the shared pool. 

After an action-packed day, we understand if you don't feel like cooking dinner (despite the well-equipped kitchen). Campanet offers an enticing array of eateries within walking distance of the apartment. Meanwhile, good road links mean the coastal resorts of Alcúdia and Pollença are within easy reach. Alternatively, make your way to Búger for traditional Mallorcan tapas in yet more spectacular mountain surroundings.
