This home is a rare find – it has a peaceful and private setting, and yet it's just a few minutes walk from the historic city of La Orotava. Surrounded by a plantation of avocados, relax on the multiple terraces (five no less), cool off from the Tenerife sun in the infinity waterfall pool with its Atlantic Ocean vistas or unwind in the hot tub. 

We love the professionally designed gardens – our favourite spot is the yoga/meditation corner –  very zen. There's a fantastic outdoor kitchen, too – cook up a feast while you enjoy the fabulous views of Mount Teide, the forests and hills. As sunset arrives, pick some mint for your mojitos from the herb garden or feel free to pick a lemon for your G&T. As the light continues to fade, gather around the designer fire pit. 

Or, on cooler evenings, cosy up in front of the wood-burning stove indoors. Here, you'll find gorgeous beamed, vaulted ceilings, as well as original pictures and sculptures.

There's plenty to do out and about too. Hire a bike and explore the terrain (many professional cycling teams train here). If you prefer something a bit less energetic, there are three golf courses within easy reach, including one designed by Seve Ballestros. The nearest beach is 3 kilometres away, along with the popular resort beaches and Lido in Puerto de la Cruz, while La Orotava has an array of cafes, shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance.

It is located in a very quiet holiday complex, has quality materials and finishes and an unbeatable distribution. Situated within a villa complex less than ten minutes' drive from Maspolamas, this recently renovated home will sing to those fond of contemporary design.

While you’re never short of sea views here, if you fancy a day at the beach –– Playa del Poris is just a short walk away.

This traditional, family-friendly villa is ideally located in the southwest of Tenerife, just 1.3 kilometres from Duque Beach and a short drive from the restaurants, shops and cafes of Costa Adeje. Dunas De Maspalomas – a mesmerising stretch of sand dunes – is just three minutes away by car. The undulating golden tones make you feel like you're strolling through the Sahara, a wonderfully unique experience that belies its Mediterranean location.
