Just moments from the village of Gordes, you’ll find this haven of tranquillity, where you can spend your time lounging beside the private pool and dining alfresco as the sun sets – there’s an outdoor kitchen as well as a barbecue. Inside, the style is elegantly bohemian, with a mix of local Gordes stone and high-end finishes. We love the double living room, where you can spend time together and make lasting memories. 

L'Oasis du France

This elegant 18th-century chateau effortlessly blends traditional features with contemporary touches. The original fireplaces and domed ceilings exude French charm, while the fully-equipped kitchen and chic bathrooms are right on trend. You’ll have plenty of room here for the whole group to spread out, with ten bedrooms, three living rooms, and a large garden featuring sun terraces and a heated swimming pool at your disposal. But it’s the thoughtful details that really make us swoon, from gym equipment and a grand piano to the custom-built library. Location-wise, it’s nestled in the quaint town of Mouriès. Popular spots like Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, Avignon, and Arles are in driving distance and make fantastic options for day trips.

Grace & Mouries

Here is a charming Provençal home that's just perfect for families. It's in the centre of Saint-Remy-de-Provence, just a short walk from the town's authentic eateries and cafés. Inside, you'll find games, books, and a DVD player to keep everyone entertained. Outside, there's a fenced swimming pool, bikes, a petanque court, and a shaded pergola for alfresco dining. There's more than enough to fill your days here, but if you feel like venturing out, Avignon is a thirty-minute drive away. You can explore the area with a cruise on the river Rhône or by hopping on the Cévennes steam train. End the day by firing up the barbecue or gas plancha and dining under the stars. 

Lavender View

This home offers the best of quintessential Provence. Located in Eygalières, a village favourited by A-listers, this stone-retreat blends old-world charm with modern luxury. It’s spacious and perfect for large family gatherings, having initially been two separate houses. A patio joins them both, offering an ideal setting for dining alfresco. Relax in the shade of an awning and towering cypress tree. Here you can enjoy a BBQ or challenge a friend to a game of table football. The large pool and various terraces offer unbeatable vistas of the surrounding valley and mountains, while the garden is full of secret corners, blossoming roses and a boules pitch. The interior is equally charming, with its antique furniture, wooden beams and exposed rock walls. We’d personally never want to venture beyond these walls, but if you’re yearning for adventure, there are nearby forest trails or a farmer’s market on Friday.

A-List

Garden Escape is an old farmhouse that's been meticulously restored by the heritage-loving host. While plenty of period features remain, the interior is mostly furnished with high-end minimalist pieces that create a delightful hybrid atmosphere. Still, we don't expect you to be spending most of your time admiring the furniture — the outdoor parts of this home are far more exciting than the insides. From the alfresco spots and loungers scattered around the garden to the huge swimming pool that's perfect for  a morning swim, Garden Escape does its name justice. When you're ready to venture a little farther, the charming town of St-Remy where Van Gogh painted the famous 'Starry Night' is only a short walk away, but since you'll be staying in the heart of Provence, every road will take you to a beautiful market town. Bring back a nice bottle of wine and enjoy watching the sunset from the garden. Retreat to the breezy living room for a movie night, and prepare for another day of relaxation. 

Garden Escape

Not only is Particular in Provence located in the heart of Les Alpilles Natural Regional Park, it also boasts stunning views of the mountains and is perfectly positioned to explore the charming towns around it. This is a chic and modern home that will best suit a large family, but we can also imagine a group of close friends enjoying the poolside loungers. When the weather is nice, spend time learning pétanque or walk around the manicured gardens, then go for a refreshing swim in the pool before one of you takes responsibility for the next meal in the delightful kitchen. If you want to venture a little farther than the gardens, take the car down to the nearby village and explore gourmet shops, restaurants, and some of the finest olive orchards in the area. Make sure you pick up some wine before you return to your holiday residence and watch the sunset from the comfort of the terrace. If you want to elevate your stay to a new level, talk to the lovely host team and arrange for some extra perks — they range from private chefs,  wine tastings, butlers, babysitters, to well-being coaches. 

Particular in Provence

Packed with French countryside charm, the romantic setting of this apartment invites guests into a whimsical paradise amid the mountains and hills of Les Alpilles. It's set on the grounds of a manor house, where olive trees, luscious green lawns and Mediterranean aromatics in the garden await. Tuck into tasty French-inspired meals on the vine-covered dining area overlooking the lawns or make the most of the swimming pool. Adjacent to the pool, you'll also find a petanque court – perfect for balmy evening games with a glass of local wine in hand. Meanwhile, inside a combination of rustic and vintage designs creates a stylishly authentic space to call home in Provence. 

Just over a kilometre away is the local village, and the home is within easy driving distance to many well-known historic towns in the area and an endless array of walking routes. The region is known for its fine olive oil production, which visitors can sample alongside other tantalising treats such as honey and cheese. Don't miss the historic city of Arles, a breathtaking gateway into La Camargue with its wild countryside, beaches, iconic white horses and pink flamingos. From the local areas' vineyards to the picturesque villages, and summer scents of lavender – with this stunning home as your base, you'll get to experience the best of Provence. 

Honey Love 

Set on a stunning country estate in the heart of Barbentane, this 18th-century house features an array of charming original features and modern amenities that guarantee a luxurious stay filled with memories. Wander around the hectare of grounds, where you'll find an abundance of fauna and flora amidst the rosemary and thyme gardens. Unwind on the surrounding lawns surrounded by Provençal plants, or better still, take a seat on the terrace shaded by the ancient trees.

The interior of the house has been sensitively restored. Classic features, including wooden beams, an open hearth and ornate tiles are maintained whilst modern finishes complement its original charm. There are plenty of spaces dedicated to relaxation inside the home - a serene living room with plush sofas or a calm master suite opening out to a Juliette balcony. We highly doubt a rainy day here, however, the pianist of the group can soundtrack evenings in front of the crackling fire if a shower does show.

Leisurely afternoons are best spent in the pool or lounging on the south-facing terrace. Come evening time, gather around the Mediterranean-style dining room for a chef-cooked dinner with the region’s best ingredients. End the evening with a few games of boules as the sunset unfolds.

Located around fifteen minutes from the centre of Avignon, you'll be within a short drive of an array of national parks and picturesque streets lined with boulangeries and local restaurants.

Provence Montagnette

Tucked away behind the olive groves and cypress trees, this recently renovated house offers quiet and tranquillity with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Location-wise, you couldn't ask to be in a better spot if you're looking for a taste of Provence. The house is located in the Alpilles Regional Natural Park, just a short drive from the Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, providing you with surrounding natural beauty and a charming commune to explore. Back home, the private lap pool is a real highlight, while the outdoor dining areas and manicured gardens add something special to this private home. 

San Remo

The Provence region isn't exactly short of beautiful outside spaces, but the 20 acres of grounds surrounding this home are up there with the most impressive – and best of all, you get these all to yourself.

The landscaped gardens are blissful to wander through on warm afternoons and the ponds filled with water lilies will have any budding Monets reaching for their easel. It's not just easy on the eye, however – the pair of swimming pools, tennis court and children's play equipment will keep guests of all ages entertained, while the barbecue and alfresco dining table will ensure you can have open-air feasts that stretch on long after sunset.

Although you're sure to be spending countless hours in the gardens, the recently renovated living quarters are also quite mesmerising. For a start, lunches in the garden dining room filled with plants and huge windows will be unforgettable. The bright and contemporary lounge has bundles of charm, as do the super-sleek bathrooms with freestanding tubs begging for a soak.

When treated to gardens such as these, you might not see much point in exploring beyond the home's boundaries. However, the village of Noves is one kilometre away if you change your mind and the city of Avignon is only a 15-kilometre car journey, too.

Horticultural Heaven

Set on a stunning estate in the heart of Saint-Remy-de-Provence, this gorgeous home features an array of resort-like amenities that guarantee a luxurious experience filled with memories. Wander around the perfectly manicured gardens, where you'll find an abundance of fauna and flora amidst the impressive landscaping. Relax on the surrounding lawns in the sunshine, or find a shaded spot under one of the ancient trees. Better still, take a seat at the alfresco terrace, where you can hear the soothing trickle of the fountain nearby. The private pool features a shallow end, perfect for younger children to splash around in. 

There are plenty of spaces dedicated to relaxation inside the home, too, as, beyond the chic interiors, you'll find an artist’s studio which offers space for yoga, while the relaxation area features an infrared sauna and an Italian shower as well gym equipment. 

Come evening time, gather around the Mediterranean-style kitchen for group cooking sessions. When the weather is warm, open up the arched windows that lead out onto the terrace for barbecues in the sun. End the soirée with a movie night or competitive ping pong/ table ice hockey game, or why not curl up for a movie night in the home cinema room? 

Located around a kilometre away from the centre of Saint-Remy-de-Provence, you'll be within walking distance of an array of bakeries, fruit and vegetable shops, and cafes and restaurants to sample. The town is well-known for its extensive history that proves popular with artists; it was here that inspired the likes of Van Gogh after all.

It's also located in the country's hub of olive oil production, so we suggest you stop by an olive press to watch the magic happen. If you've hired a car, you'll be able to visit all of Provence's prettiest villages in no time – start with Arles, just twenty minutes away, then work your way towards Avignon and Aix-en-Provence.
