Elsewhere, the Statue du David is also within walking distance, and Marseille’s buzzing centre can easily be reached by public transport or by car.

It's here we imagine you’ll start your day sipping coffee as the sun rises and end your day by clinking glasses of Bandol as the sun falls.

When you’re ready to explore, the beautiful Frioul Islands can be reached by ferry, while one of France’s most remarkable gardens, Parc Borély, is a perfect place to while away an afternoon.

Location-wise, you really couldn't be better placed. The Old Port, teeming with excellent restaurants and cocktail bars, is right on your doorstep. In terms of sightseeing attractions, you’ll be just a short stroll away from the city’s historic Notre-Dame du Mont, the Tribunal judiciaire and it's beautiful water fountain feature, as well as the Jardin de la Colline Puge, offering breathtaking views over the city. 

Marseille Magnifique

Ideally located right on the Old Port, this beautiful seventh-floor holiday apartment set within a building designed by famous architect Fernand Pouillon offers a fabulous view over the marina below as well as the bell tower of Accoules in the distance and the Notre Dame of Marseille.

Turn your head from that captivating view of marvellous Marseille and you will find that there is just as much to admire within the four walls of the home. Tasteful touches, such as the gorgeously restored parquet floor, the industrial-chic exposed lightbulbs, ultra-sleek sliding doors to the bathroom and cool, quirky poster-style artwork combine with expert use of colour, texture, and the occasional piece of highly polished antique French furniture.
